So.. This has potential, but as of right now, probably shouldn't have a demo/alpha release. From what I was able to see, there was minimal gameplay content - If there was gameplay content, the lack of clarity in the UI is even worse than I think it is.

The game is extremely laggy. I understand this is to be expected in such early stages of development, so this is not a point against the game itself, but against making a version available at this point in development.

The UI lacks very sorely in clarity. When I first loaded up, I ran all over the entire map to try to figure out who I'm supposed to interact with. This could be a plus, I quite like when a game doesn't hold your hand too firmly - but perhaps with increased movement speed, and with proper optimization. Traversing the entire map multiple times when running the game at 10fps is not an enjoyable experience.

There was next to no content. An introductory quest, I think two H-scenes? After playing it, I still don't know what this game is going to be later down the line. I don't know if we're looking at corruption, sandbox, or linear quest with open world, and I think playing an alpha should give us a good idea about what the game will be, since presumably the point of an incomplete release is to give us an idea of whether it's something we'd like to put money toward.

Overall, it's a 2/5 for me, solely for the potential it *may* have in future. I look forward to seeing where it goes, but it is certainly not worth even downloading right now.

Yea great animation..... is all i can really say, the fact my controls literally got stuck and i couldn't move or press anything anymore after pressing M by mistake at the end of the demo basically sums up the experience lol.

All things considered i think the scope is pretty reasonable, i like that the game is more than just le sex scenes the game and there's an attempt at some form of combat.

Visually? ehhh... the faces have some lighting issues, the models in game looks really hit or miss, and you could see a great difference in quality the moment you switch to one of the sex scenes, which ruins abit of immersion. It has that quickly cobbled up together look to it. UE also doesn't help since it comes with it's own baggage.

The sex scenes are great, it's clearly made by an animator who knows what they're doing and is willing to put in the work. But it also explains the state of the demo, it's going to be an arduous task juggling the very great animations and game making, which from what little experience i have is a enough of a headache as is.

    Fantastic Proof of Concept.
I grew up playing a game called "Go Vacation!" on the Wii. It's an open world game with a multitude of hobbies and events to choose from. My neighbors and I would get together and play via split-screen. We all had our own virtual house, our own virtual characters, and all the while being near each other. Good times. Anyway, "Rewind and Desire" is basically that, but with tits.

    The Good:
    • Graphically, it's phenomenal.
      • It has wonderful cutscenes and the h-scenes are great.
    • Combatis also solid.
      • Currently it's very rough, but I see the vision.
        • It aims to be a "souls-like", featuring lock-on, rolls, parries, etc. Only thing missing is a stamina bar.
          • I like this sort of combat.
    • The world feels alive.
      • It's filled with NPCs and the vibes are there. The developer(s) nailed this department.
    • Character design is also pretty good.
    • It has a LOT of potential (more on that later).
    Areas of improvement:
    Let's start with the obvious;
    • Music
      • We can hear the looping.
    • Camera
      • The zoom-in is good, but not being able to move it from the character's center makes "appreciating" the environment quite difficult.
    • Miscellaneous
      • A way to hide the weapon while outside of combat.
      • A "smartphone" to take screenshots with would be REALLY cool.
    The Bad:
Honestly? I can't name many. The majority of my complaints are simply due to lack of content. It is a proof of concept, so it's understandable that this is the case.

Now, as a proof of concept, let's talk about what absolutely nobody likes talking about. The future.

This game has the potential to be great. Graphics aside, an open world game with a multitude of activities is bound to sell, with or without sex. I hope the developers take a greater focus on the "open world" area of the game rather than making a linear questline like they did in ver. 0.01.
    • For instance, you could have the protagonist investigate the disappearance of her sister or the drug on her own (no quest markers), and have multiple ways of reaching said target, all hidden behind certain events or questlines.
      • This would allow the player to explore the world and progress the main story at the same time. All of that without the need to have to fall into the usual "go from point A to point B. Now repeat it for 10 hours".
Honestly, it all depends on what route the developers decide to take. The idea is here in this demo, but at this point it is up to them to choose which way they want to go. This game could turn out in MANY ways, here's a few examples:
    • Single-player open world "vacation resort" type of game.
      • Basically, a lot of player freedom, tons of parties and events to participate in. Tons of good vibes, maybe some shady underground stuff here and there. Point is, single player with tons of content and focus in player exploration.
    • Single player story game.
      • Similar to how the Yakuza franchise plays out.
        • You have a main story, which consists of "go to point B from point A", with many cutscenes and a passable story, in addition to a multitude of side quests which can be found on the way to point B.
          • While this would sacrifice the "open world" aspect, games with this format can work, as long as the story and side quests are fun.
    • Multiplayer MMO.
      • Think of "second life", but less shitty.
        • A world filled with NPCs and "resort like activities" like parties, skiing, surfing, karaoke, dancing, skateboarding, etc, in conjunction to a multiplayer experience. Allowing adults to explore the world and its wonders together with a text chat feature, friend requests, and all of that good stuff.
          • Full focus on exploration and player interactions, as well character customization at the cost of the single-player storyline.
The point is, this game has tons of potential and can go in many ways. Now, let's talk about money:

    As a potential investor:
This game has a lot of potential, that has been made pretty clear by now. That being said, there are hundreds of other games with great potential released every year. So the question is raised: Why invest in this game in specific? Honestly, I don't know. Personally, I refuse to support via Patreon or such simply because I do not feel that it's a good investment: you pay monthly for years in a proof of concept that may never get finished.

All of that being said, I will most definitely keep my eye on this game and its future. Once it reaches the point in which a Steam release is possible, I will most definitely make my purchase. if the game progresses in a favorable way, I would be willing to drop ~$35 usd for it. But that is a discussion for future me to hold.

The Bottom Line; Should I try this game?
Absolutely! I can keep on glazing it for a few more paragraphs, but honestly? Downloading from this site is free, and at the end you should be your own judge.

Conclusion: 4/5, very great concept but it's a bit difficult to tell in which direction it will proceed, in addition to the usual Patreon-like early access risks.

    v0.0.1 Build Review

The current build of this game is about 15 minutes of running around, fighting a few enemies, watching a few marvelously animated cutscenes, and praying it doesn’t crash. That’s it. It’s empty — first build empty.

So why 5 stars? Because I fucking care, god damn it. And I’m about to go on a weird, almost psychotic tangent about eroge that ties directly to why this thing matters.

This game is buggy, short, and barebones — but it’s also a beautiful proof of concept. I love games in general. I play everything: RPGs, horrors, shooters, roguelikes, MMOs, weird indies, whatever. I even like “bad” games like The Isle or ARK: Survival Evolved because they scratch a specific itch.

Eroge is no different. I love eroge. But most eroge suck as games. They’re built for one thing — you jerk off, you’re done. And that’s fair. I get it, that’s the market, and it works. Most people don’t want to “play” too much in a sex game, because it defeats the whole point. But that’s not my point.

What I’ve always wanted — and while playing this demo, I got the feeling it’s almost aiming for it — is a sex game that’s actually fun to play. Something where the erotic content is part of the gameplay loop, not just a “reward cutscene” for clearing a quest.

Take this build for example: you start with a dildo that’s basically a sword. That’s brilliant. Imagine if they went all-in — different dildos with different stats and playstyles, anal beads acting like a whip for quick, repeatable hits, heavy toys for slow but devastating blows. Armor could be stuff like just pasties or lingerie that actually affects combat, slowing enemies because they’re distracted. Lore could justify it while gameplay benefits from it.

Enemy variety could push the fantasy further. Male and female enemies could work fundamentally differently: females buffing their allies mid-fight with dirty little animations, creeper male enemies swarming the heroine like horny gremlins — face-fucking her from a mount position and causing a slow debuff. The heroine could have a crotch-kick ability that stuns enemies, with a cooldown or meter to build it up.

And here’s the big one: sex as a combat mechanic. Think Yakuza’s Heat Actions, but sexual. Mid-fight finishers where you grab an enemy and pull off a humiliating, over-the-top erotic move that’s both visually insane and strategically useful. It’s hot and it’s fun.

That’s how you make an eroge worth playing even when you can’t jerk off — because it’s still entertaining, still mechanically satisfying, still giving you reasons to boot it up besides “I’m horny.”

I’m giving this build 5 stars not because it’s good right now, but because I want to vote for the direction. I want more devs to take risks like this, to fully embrace the fact they’re making a sex game and fully embrace the fact they’re making a game. Blend them until neither works without the other.

This game can do that, if it wants to. I just hope it has the balls — or boobies — to commit to my very niche, imaginary fantasy.

Surely, I can’t be the only one who wants this kind of content?

Giving this a tentative average review for now as it has plenty of flaws currently but with great potential. Might update later as more content gets added. Currently this review is for the v.0.0.1 Demo.

It is definitely in early dev version and there is not a lot of content currently. But the graphics and NPC animations are pretty good. If you can ignore some weird collisions and such. Plenty of optimization needed though as the game is very resource intensive currently.

The current available scenes, at least the two I could find, are pretty good but sometime they bug out a bit. Animations not always playing or weird model collisions. Repeating the scene seemed to get the animations to play properly though.

The current story is so disjointed that it is impossible to follow though. But that might be expected for a 0.0.1 version. Most likely only parts of it is done, like the intro/prologue bit, and then stitched together for the demo release.
