If I don't want the incest, can I delete the scripts folder and screen.rpy? Or are those files necessary for other reasons?

This is the mod so you should ask in the game thread, and likely years away from being done.
I wish you would! This was one of the first adult VNs I played, before I realized incest patches were a thing (it's one of my few fetishes so I generally prefer having that content enabled), and I really enjoyed it as written. I think it makes a lot more sense having the mom of the household you're staying in just being a friend of your dad. The relationships were fleshed out and given a lot of context and history, and it all worked - it didn't feel like it was a simple "this is your mom and sister but we just did a word swap to landlady and roommate" that you typically find in this type of game. (Except for the scene where you and Jessica are watching anime together, that's a pretty blatant word swap, lol.) The plot is so integral to this game in particular, that I don't want to change it fundamentally by altering the relationships.

I haven't played it without the incest patch, but I think it was rewritten quite a bit so it makes perfect sense.
The only issue I've found so far is a missed line where MC refers to Jessica as "like family to me" instead of "my sister" (line 245 and 258 in e3s11). Easy enough to fix myself.

Some ideas/requests for the next update in a few months (I expect). The first two are the only ones that I really want and should be (relatively) easy to implement I believe. The others I don't know since I haven't looked at the code of the original files or your mod.
I like incest content and since your mod is the only one maintaining it that is the primary reason I use it (along with gallery unlock and number choice which I especially love btw) but since in other posts you mention potentially creating different versions that's why I mention a toggle option. Depending on how it's implemented, a single mod with a toggle may be easier to maintain.
Since the story is still developing, I tend to make a lot of saves, especially at potential branch points. While renpy supports a lot of saves, its annoying that to go past page 9 you can only advance one page at a time. Naming them just makes it easier to remember why I save scummed each point. I know many a multimod have implemented increased number and named saves so it may simply be a case of code plagiarism to implement.
The walkthrough toggle is a meh suggestion either way for me since it's easy enough to just ignore your recommendations. I use MrBubu's flowchart style walkthrough because it includes all the decision variables and triggers that exist in the code base, even the ones that aren't of consequence (yet...) making it easier to save scum for potential branching choices. It also includes where the hidden renders are which is a nice bonus.

This is helpful for the hint system. I thought the choices were simpler, didn't realize the game was tabulating stats that open other options.

LightmanP, you do an awesome job. Just waiting for your MULTMOD to be finished so I can make an Android version. I’m already working on a super compressed one and just waiting for the full package: MOD + PATCH...
