VN - Ren'Py - Rise or Fall [v0.0.2] [Kzero91]

To be honest, it's not a bad demo if you're unfamiliar with VN, or if you're very unpretentious about the content and are ready to play anything with a devil, tentacles and other delights.

However, being already familiar with a huge number of games, you start to value your time and choose what you play more carefully. Well, how can you play - flip through, 'cause it's a visual novel.

In this project, I can distinguish only beautiful unique renderings of the author. Sorry, but that's it.

What I did not like:

• Complete lack of animation and audio
• Story - at some point I just started to skip around.
• Music - the style of music in some scenes, like the one with Jessy and the trans girl, is out of place altogether, imho.

From the marketing point of view it's called a minimum viable product - a product with enough features to attract early-adopter customers and validate a product idea.

From the perspective of a long-time user - I'm sorry for my time so far. Considering the renders and the potential development of the story, I'm pretty sure it can be made much better.

I wish the author success and a more thoroughful development of his/her project into something more competitive and appealing. From my side, I would gladly change my review to a more positive one.

I really like how many fetishes and variations are in this game. Almost every scene has a dom/sub version. You can choose for every one if you want to see it or not. Big plus. Alex is great, too. Also, being the active part in sph, pejac-humiliation and cbt ist really hot. There are not many games that do that. All in all an already hot game with a lot of potential.

I really like the game so far. I appreciate any game that lets you skip certain fetishes. The MC is a cute goth girl with an attitude problem who is on a quest to eat as much pussy as possible (with a little dick on the side, if that's your thing). The game already throws a lot of sexy content and has some really good teasers for future content.

A few cons: Probably not a great game if story is important to you. It's interesting and all but I just want to see what the next sexy situation Jessy is going to get into. Additionally, there are no animations, however if the author is not good at them at by all means don't add shitty animations to this. Also the dialogue appears to have been run through translator because there are some really awkward phrasings.

"Rebel" teen thrust into difficult and sexy situations. In particular, I like the school setting and hope for some corporal punishments. I find all of the characters at least somewhat interesting, though Victor is a little boring (as another person pointed out, having a scene with him decide if Jessy is into men is not quite perfect.) Overall Alex is fantastic and I can't wait for more BDSM and punishments between some very fun, beautiful characters.

I like the concept and the story setup. I kinda liked playing an angsty chick, but right out of the gate, the wheels start to come off.

Her "uncle" doesn't support or defend his "family", instead he blackmails her into doing whatever he wants until the debt of 10 million is paid off. Which is just basically code for "the dev doesn't want to work too hard to find creative ways to corrupt the FMC." Instead, they have set the stage for the FMC to have to do anything.

Yawn.

Seriously, if this is what you want, you should just be watching porn. There is no story here. It is just going to be one bad porn setup to another, which would be fine if the dev just came out and said that rather than trying to hide it in the form of a story.

Snore.

This is just more of the same corruption garbage that has been out there forever. There is nothing new, other than a different hairstyle and unique eye shadow. Otherwise it's just "Insert Corruption Game Here", number 1,247.

I know I am being a bit of a dick, but this dev seems talented. The art is solid, writing is decent and the production is pretty good. You can tell they are new but they seem to know what they are doing and I would imagine they will get better with experience. It just seems they are mailing in the story and taking the easy way out. Maybe if this is a short AVN it will work, but I wouldn't expect much.

If you want any kind of a story, there is nothing to see here. If you like the fast corruption of a hot FMC with an attitude, then you might like it.

Overall a great game.
Lesbian-oriented MC with wits and personality, and a lot of player input.
Definitely recommend trying it.

The graphics are awesome in my opinion and fit well to the story.

Writing and dialogues didn't feel out of place and only a few errors were present.

The music fits the vibe of the game and was never out of place. Rare and well done.

The FMC is great. She is unique, has some snark and switches between her own character and player driven behaviour.
Most of the time I had the feeling of being her partner in crime, rather than the sole driver. She makes a lot of decisions herself, but at least most of the times when it comes ro anything sexual, the player chimes in.
Her appearance is a matter of taste, I like it, and it fits her personality.

It is very early, so guessing who the cast of LIs will be is tricky.
There is a character bio in the mobile, but it is a work in progress and I'm not sure how many of them are LIs or just acquaintances/friends.

I chose lesbian only, because I despise Viktor and you have to give him a blowjob to enable male LIs.
Worst decision in the game, but since there aren't many other male LIs yet, I went with it. That and the forced sex scene in chapter one are the only reasons I gave only 4*. With improvements in these part, this would be one of the best FMC games out there.

Alex is introduced at the beginning of the game. She is the trans character, completely optional, and reveals her gender before you make a final decision to pursue her.
She has a lovely personality and is quite frankly my main point of playing the game. Dev teased that there will be some kind of harem synergy, but even if the game would go "choose-your-LI" way, I would go with her for sure.
She looks absolutely adorable and has the cutest dick I ever saw in a VN.
So far she didn't show any flaw whatsoever and I can't wait to see more of her. Especially anal-focused, she is quite ready.
We got one sex scene so far, which was also quite cute and wholesome.

Jake seems to be tied to the main plot and is a hard sub from the get go.
You have some limited input while interacting with him, but almost all femdom-related content with him so far was scripted.
MC already stated that she is not interested in him sexually, which is tied to the decision to not pursue Viktor. That is a major downgrade for me, since I would very much like to have Jake as an LI.
I hope dev will build in a reconsideration later on when we have more content with him.
I enjoyed to dom him very much. I like his appearance and character. Hopefully we get at least the chance to do some hard dom scenes with him in the future. I certainly chose the CBT-kink...

The girl from school (which name I frequently forget) didn't have much content yet. Which fits her character. I'm intrigued and definitely want to see more of her. Sadly the Bio screen in the mobile spoilered her appearance, so anyone that wants to be surprised whats under the hijab, avoid that for now.

I don't like to see the MC getting penetrated without player input, so I avoided demon and monster kink.
I chose every other kink and a few of them were present in chapter 2.
The scene with the bitchy client was hilarious and differs greatly depending on player's choices.
Highly recommend trying both routes, as far as I could tell, you don't miss out on her either way.
It is very likely she will be a LI later on.

Stepmom was lovely through the whole release. We got a hard plot point at the end of the chapter, that really turned my adrenaline to the max.
Can't wait to bring "Dad" to justice.

There is also a neighbour. Looks nice, short yoga session, nothing too fancy just now.
Will be interesting to see where this goes, but some hints of neglect were given already.

The disappointing character Candy, which is a whore in service of the uncle, was not present in chapter 2. After the (only) forced sex scene with her and the revelation after that she is in fact a hooker, I hope she is completely avoidable.
She is in the bio tho, so that is concerning.
Other than a complete rewrite of the first scene with her, I cannot see any redeeming arch for her.
A bummer, a stripper-LI would've fit Jessy's vibe. But whore is just way too much (for my taste).

The kink-selection at the end of chapter one has a very good replacement i f you avoid the demon content. I tried both, but settled for the non-demon one.
I like the possibility to form Jessy to my own tastes. Good method, short and effective.

All in all I don't see any real reason not to try this.

This game has the hottest opening scene I've played in a while. Loving the MC's penchant for casual nudity, and I hope we see more of this in the coming updates. She's hot in an "IDGAF" soft of way, and she doesn't need comically big boobs to do it. She gets herself into lots of hot situations here in this initial release, enough to cater to a multitude of fetishes and interests. Can't wait to see where the author takes her story from here.

This review is for the first release, so take it for what you will.

As strange as it may sound, I like how the dev is willing to make the protagonist fairly unlikable. She has no real redeeming qualities so far. She's manipulative, aggressive and predatory. But somehow it works. At the least, these traits make her more interesting than the usual creeper MC who just keeps showering a girl with compliments until they inevitably spread their legs. She also has some interesting problems beyond just who she wants to bang next. I also appreciate how we're given options about her orientation and fetishes. Oh, and there's no smartass horndog sidekick, which is a major bonus. I see a lot of potential for an unconventional story, if the pacing can be kept under control.

So far, I am absolutely blown out of the water by the quality of this game! The renders are great, the characters are interesting looking, and the sex scenes (plural! In such an early release, that's a pretty good sign IMO. Far too many games release a really boring early release with fuck all sex in it, but this is not one of those!)

I am personally extremely pleased by how you get to chose a number of fetishes for the main character Jessy, and that this includes not only Watersports, but goes far enough to divide up the watersports in Dominant and Submissive versions! Full disclosure, that is a large part of my rating here, but I am not lying when I say the rest of the game is high quality as well!

Obviously, the game is very short right now, since it is an initial release, but I hope the author will keep going, because I want to see where this goes!

Review as of Initial Release

Not even inside of the game yet and I noticed the developer had the foresight to add a walkthrough by default. The only thing I see missing is a Gallery which would be a great addition.

Just from the initial gameplay I see hints at CBT, Urination, Monster, Feet, Submission & Domination, and even voyeurism. Text suggests that you can choose to be with only women or men or both. Which shows the developer took the time to understand the market and everyone has preferences that don't always align with others.

The game is not machine translated and appears to be pretty well written. Good for those that prefer reading a story. Even adds Save Here checks before the game closes back to the main menu (end of version) which you should notice if you're not skipping. If you are then good luck and save often.

The scenes are pretty well crafted. The only iffy part I see is the portion before it asks you to save here. The models themselves are great (at least the females not much into the males), uses Genesis from the looks of it, but they don't appear to be any of the commonly used / overused models which is nice. Also pretty decent props through out.

Not too many scenes on a v0.0.1 release, but enough to keep me intrigued and looking forward to what they do next. Best of luck dev!
