Damn, such a hidden Gem.

I have been playing adult games for 5 years now but how come I missed this hidden gem up until yesterday I don't know. I remember seeing this game on update alert but always ignored it cuz of (v0.6), I mean due popular notion I also judged it from its version name and thought it would be low on content early updates.

Now that I finished playing though it 2 times, I truly became a fan of this game.

Look, unlike other players I care very little about story, I mean c'mon this is a porn game at the end of the day, all you need is solid decent background plot for sex scene. And this game has just exactly that. It's not a masterpiece nor a critically acclaimed new york times awarded story but rather simple enough porn plot.

Animations are top notch, I mean really and REALLY. Again unlike many I don't have any problems with stock animation video loop. Another thing that this game does far above average is dialogues during sex scenes. Ya not hentai level but still, the dialogues makes the scenes 1.5x sexier here. Personally I just loved Lana, Ms. Fine and Robin very much. Lana just stole my heart with some of her sex scenes. Everyone deserves a bestfriend like her.

What else to say, Dev really did spent some good hours on this game, given all this there's still plenty of flaws. Gameplay department still felt outdated and sloppy at times. Some options just don't make any sense, like dev is either trying to be too smart in some of the options during choices. I played Easy and medium mode only, easy is VN typically with branching storyline that can make you miss multiple scenes even after doing everything right. Medium though a little grindy can unlock all scenes in one gameplay. So gameplay department should receive 3 stars.

Anyway regardless of everything, I personally got a good fap after a month thanks to this game. For that only 5 stars from me. Humanity is alive dev. Atleast in me.

I have been following/ playing this game for some time and while the animations/renders are superb (I mean, they are REALLY, really good!), the story/ storytelling is one of the worst here.
It's pure chaos, it just jumps from one scene to the next without enough explanation/ transition.

Then there is the MC, who is another boring, generic dick with no soul or interesting character.

The ONLY reason that keeps me following this game are the scenes. The dev needs a good story-writer for his next games or he will just be another Astaros..

I can't say Rocking Robin is a terrible game but I can't say it's really good either (v 0.8B). The main problem with the game I have is in the story: it's way too chaotic, it has twists and turns that make little sense and its general evolution seems to not be well designed, falling all over the place continuously. Just how the mafia side of the story is handled, just that alone, is quite bad. Characters are more or less generic, not terrible, but not very interesting either. And there are lots of mechanics that just don't seem to go anywhere or add any value, like the diner that by the time it is introduced it matters very little and you have little to do in it outside main plot things, even though they mention you should and there seems to be a system for it.

Render quality is pretty decent, that's true, some framing and images are a bit weird but nothing too terrible. Animations have a lower level, especially the first ones, but they are decent as well. I have found no bugs while playing but navigation and some UX things are really bad and the hint system is mediocre at best.

So, all in all, it's not the worst game you can spend your time on, but I do think there are better options out there.

if this game ever gets a developer who knows even how to spell 'structure' it would actually be quite good.
unfortunately, apart from some really animations and some good art, it fails quite miserably in the story and writing department, that at times leaves you wondering what is going on, and lacks any structure.
i think the devs just get an idea in their head and just throw it in. consequently, the game is all over the place and creates inconsistencies in the plot.
there are one or two times you will have a single choice to click on, a sure sign of stupidity for stupidity's sake, and the fact that early on you can at least choose where to go, it then forces you down paths that are way better suited to being made a VN.

in fact, the whole thing would easily do better as a VN than a game. no idea why approach was taken other than a serious lack of pre-planning, which is abundantly obvious as the game progresses.

i made it as far as 'fine time' but completely lost all interest at this point.
some may like the quick fap material but i doubt anyone with any honesty likes this hodgepodge of gameplay and mini routes that make no real sense.

Man, what planet is this from? Seriously, an 18-year old virgin mafia don, who still works at a diner and/or a garage, spends 10s of thousands of dollars on laptops, bottles of wine, suits... The dialogue is wacky. It's like denizens of Omicron Persei 8 watching earth TV and making their own VN based on it, except instead of Single Female Lawyer, it's a combination of Goodfellas and My Tutor...
(he doesn't stay a virgin for long, btw)

This is an odd, odd VN. It's totally in its own world, where the rules of normal human society don't exist. But it's consistent to that world. I'm used to this kind of eccentric world-building being accompanied by HS renders (of which I am not a fan), but in this case, the Dev here uses daz models, and with considerable skill.

So, despite the sheer nonsense of the plot, as you push through, the internal consistency makes you not mind so much the weird story and dialogue. I mean, it still sucks ass, but you tolerate it, because there's a kind of magic with the renders happening.

There is a lot of clicking. Like, I lot. The Dev is considerate enough to include easy mode, which is straight VN, but there is a hard mode which is more sandboxy and really lays it on thick with the grind. I did easy, and the only thing that kept me going was the knowledge that eventually I'd end up with the gf's hot mom. Sheesh, that was hard work (but, man, worth it).

Okay, so getting back to what's good, well, the creativity in the rendering is really something else. I mean, there's a blend of static image, skillfull animatioon, and kind of a cross between the two, like dynamic still images, and I think this is some of the most cinematic, captivating composition I've seen on any game on this site. Really inventive and clever (and erotic, oh yeah). I do wish the female models were a little less grainy, a little more "varnished" but that's a personal preference.
I know I'll sound pretentious, but I think this Dev is really pushing the boundaries of the visual "vocabulary" of a VN.

Okay, so here's the question that VNs like this one always leave me with: I have no doubt that skillful rendering takes more effort than coming up with half-decent writing. So why is it that we have so many of these things where the artwork is great and the story is like a 7-year old's power fantasy?

One of the best Games out there. Youll find the MILFs you can only dream of in this game.... There is a bit of a grind for one of the Miss Fine but the payoff is satisfying. The Story and the build has been amazing with the Animations being right up there.
Highly Recommended and you wont be disappointed.

I really like this game, it has the potential to easily be the best game on this site, and as such I might change my score to 5 stars once the game is finished. As it is, it's still an enjoyable romp.

Graphics:
Mostly great, although there are a few issues here and there. The animations are some of the best of any game here, which makes the H-scenes really stand out.

Music:
Mostly good, with some stand out moments where the story and the music meld together to create a truly memorable moment.

Story:
It's a bit all over the place at the moment. I feel this has a lot to do with the incomplete nature of the game, and it could probably improve as the game develops further. There are still some head scratching moments though that come out of nowhere.

Characters:
A mixed bag.

Gameplay:
Really difficult at times to figure out what to do, at least in the sandbox mode (haven't played VN mode). There are also a few bugs present.

Overall:
Really enjoy the game so far, and will come back to it once it's finished.

One important note is that if you have played before and have downloaded a new version, it's better to start with a fresh save, since the developer adds scenes throughout the story, so you may miss out on content. I believe this is also the reason for most of the bugs currently present in the game.

Terrible game! I wasted 6 hours on this that I will never get back. Gave up on the gameplay and unlocked gallery and that was such a huge dissapointment. And I never leave reviews or messages but I had to today. Kudos!

Three stars

I really can't see why it has four and a half stars right now. The game is a wasteland of empty spaces and nothing to do. It's too bad really as the renders are nice and most of the characters seem interesting. I was particularly hopeful to see the MC interact with his buddy Jason in his apartment. Maybe get some sloppy seconds or have other encounters, but it's just one of the many places he can crash for a night with almost nothing every happening.

Seriously, why have it so you can sneak into Heather's bedroom almost every night and then have no events, except for a very few? Boring.

Frankly, after 3 hours of constantly clicking shit to just find out that there's really nothing to do that day, then having to make three clicks just to advance the time (and look at that fucking car animation every single time!) I got tired and uninstalled the game. It happened when the tailor told me I needed $69,000 for a tuxedo. The money thing in this game is bizarre. I got a job that pays $150 per day but I have to use some built in money cheat to spend these ridiculous amounts (Try $2100 for a glass of wine!) - AND - the game says I will have to pay it back eventually? Meanwhile, I can't seem to actually do anything with the crime organization I am supposed to be a "BOSS" of...... ok.

Devs need to decide if they want to make a porn game or design the next bestselling AAA title. Because they try and do both and usually fail miserably at both... like this one did. It's the reason mods are so popular.

This game used to be absolutely amazing, but two major changes (one especially) have just ruined it for me.

The renders are pretty good, the story is interesting, and there's a lot of content for a lot of fetishes. The characters are well written and fleshed out, with many of them being genuinely lovable or rage-inducing. It's easy to get emotionally invested in the story.

There are two things that have completely ruined it for me. First, the "night" scenes with one character were removed / truncated because of Patreon. At least that's my assumption, because I see no other possible cause. This was really bad, but I could tolerate it because I liked the rest of the game.

Lately, however, the ability to enjoy the sandbox of the game seems to have been completely removed. I'm sorry but that makes this unplayable. It takes the world from immersive to boring. It changes it from engaging to a mindless clickfest. It turns it from arousing to just bland.

Dev, please, if you read this: Put it back to the sandbox style. This change is awful. I've supported you in the past but I'm just not going to support a game I don't enjoy, and these changes are terrible. I'm sorry, you really are talented, but I just don't enjoy this anymore.

I thought the story and game were ok however in sandbox mod there is no repeatable events! I figured sandbox =repeatable events cool ! I will try the game soooo my honest opinion is that playing the game just became boring in sandbox mod walking around town with no repeatable events like '[man of the house ] game had and nothing to do while waiting to advance the storyline .

This one was one my earliest introductory games in the adult vn world . Loved the game then loving it now. And only sandbox game i enjoy playing till the end. All the girls in here are beauties with unique personality. Looking forward to seeing more of the gf and her mother.

Well built game but the thing i like the most are the soundtrack choices. I dont understand how you managed to fit every single soundtrack to each seperate situation but i admire your work there. Well done robbery.

Simply one of the best of these kinds of games I've ever played. Loads of hot scenarios, loads of hot characters, pretty interesting story and decent mechanics with plenty of hints and tips. Highly recommend.

A hidden gem at version 0.7D

The sex scenes felt original and exciting. The quality and details in the animations give you a feeling of realism which is rare to find. I even said, yeah, thats exactly how i will fuck this girl, it felt like the dev was reading my mind.

Fucking Robin didnt felt boring even doing it like 20 times in a row.

The soundtrack is lovely and i think fits great with the game.

I didnt find any bugs playing the VN version.

The amount of content was great, there are a LOT of sex scenes and girls, i still need to play it again to unlock several scenes.

an insane Game with a really hot Story, which is very slowly and objectively built.


- the Atmosphere in the game is Awesome

- Pretty female Characters

- The Renders are Excellent

- What I really liked about this game are the Animations, because you realize that the Developers have a lot of love for Detail.

solid sandbox with noticable vn influence
(more text than needed, couple of story choices can lock you up from content, not so saturated days; i have no knoledge of this game development but it looks like it was started as a vn and got sandboxised later. and that process is ongoing with ui getting better)

4stars+1star added because of irrelevant vn-readers reviews with low rates. (nobody cares about text in sandboxes. you want to read - pick a book)

-renders are good & most faces are above average (though for me the bar is kinda low, so by above average i mean that nothing is particularly off; id want main fem npcs like robin and lana to be better. weird case when im not sure if robin's eyes area is messed up or if she is somewhat oriental gial.
-no bugs
i think i encountered one when clicking on email earlier than needed during that 10days vacation at lana's. retweaked with saveeditor
-sufficient ui and solid qol (i picked easy mode)
text tips, quest flags on the map, rooms flickering, highlighted choices and replays instead of gameovers, skippable point-n-click mini-gigs; at some point you are able to skip time periods and bit later - days.
*i havenot checked any other modes so id say that when choosing easy one you get semi-vn experience as all the time-location tracking work is done for you. but had i chosen hard mode would i be able to track events on my own? (given that there is no .txt walkthroughs i usually rely on)

there are some delays when going to another location and your room (topleft corner)
imo map should be available from any room (not only from entry points areas like halls etc)
cannot say that inhouse navigation (at some locations) was comfy enough (but that can be due to lack of muscle memory. otherwise it could be due to unnamed rooms or some uncomfy positioning of interconnecting areas)
text tips (when you click on 'question' icon) are shown 1by1 which feels like stalling. there is a plenty of space on the bottom to just show such constantly
(dont remember why but) i always had an issue with leaving the store

Very nice surprise this game.

Graphically it's very good, the animations too. The sex scenes are very well done.

The story is good, it's generally well written.

The sandbox part isn't boring. There is a good balance at the beginning between the sandbox and the story. At worst, there is the option at the start of the game to play in pure VN or with the sandbox.

I really recommend this game.

Considerations: Nice story, good background information and relations. Have some easter eggs (quite tricky to find) that help to explore the map, though would benefit by adding some kind of random encounters. Have a basic economy and some items. The map is quite simple and navigation through is sometimes quite strange as interface is not always uniform.
Characters are fine, adequate to the task. The story is promising.

I've watched this game for a awhile. At first I looked at this game as a maybe and wasn't sure how it's development would go, however this game has grown and improved considerably since 2019.

The story is solid and well written and the music choices go well with the game. The gameplay is pretty easy and intuitive, tho the job questions can be pretty difficult. The in-game cheat system is well done, gives money, job question answers, dialog hints, and auto-complete or find of some things. The in-game hint system is also well done and does a good job of getting the player back on track if they get lost or don't know what to do. The characters are well written and have varied personalities and the MC is also well written and thankfully not a douche.

The game also offers a choice between VN and Sandbox. I choose to play sandbox style, but it's a great thing that this game has those options.

The animations are where this game really shines. Excellent physics, smooth, varied movements and I love that the developer puts emphasis on ass angles. There is thankfully no screen shaking in the animations; something that I feel is not very good for the brain or equilibrium, and can potentially create motion sickness in a player, even if they have no history of it. But anyways. This game is in the top tier when it comes to animations.

Highly recommend a playthrough.
