My definition of Rogue Like is:
  1. Random map generation
  2. Permadeath
Adding:
  • Collect currency to upgrade after death
And its now a rogue lite

I prefer rogue lite more. Here are some games I played with rogue lite:

The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith (Male MC. Recommended to me by Noah Neim)

Lost Chapter (Female MC. Recommended to me by MalkavianVamp)

I also accept any game that has rogue-like elements like:

In Dungeon Vixens: A Tale of Temptation you start over but the enemies and levels are sort of fixed. Considering the attributes, it can be said to be rouge-like but it don't hit me as one because of the lack of randomness.

So you don't really have to stick to the definition, I appreciate every recommendation.

Halls of the Pale Widow is an arcade horror survival roguelite with how well you do giving you currency to spend on upgrades and cosmetics. It's fun for a couple hours but after a few successful runs I recommend just using cheat engine as the upgrades just make it easier and doesn't necessarily change much besides one or two needed for the true ending.

Escape Dungeon and the sequels (assuming they work the same) are a dungeon crawling roguelite with the currency increasing stats making the next run easier such as higher health or more inventory slots for attacks.

TUNNEL ESCAPE is a recent game I liked and is a roguelite as they claimed. HOWEVER, the full version currently is on DLsite but the creator has a massive feud against pirates and the game is riddled with DRMs that can potentially brick your computer. The current version in the link is safe but it took a while for them to crack it and so you might want to wait a while for the cracked version. It's strange though because from what I experienced playing the game, I can tell there was a lot of love and hard work put in to it only for the creator to make the experience miserable not only for pirates but also for legitimate buyers of the game because of the DRM.

Enough about the creator, the game is great at first (art is topnotch and animated and gameplay is quite addicting if you are like me who likes turnbased games) but it requires a lot of grinding (the game even has daily rewards and it really wants you to put a lot of time in it which is quite absurd) so maybe you can cheat your stats and money so you can breeze through the game. There is a lot of hidden stuff in the game since you are expected to play through the levels a lot of times but honestly it is such a waste of time to even do it so I advise to just cheat it and beat the game first as a virgin before tackling other contents in the game such as non-virgin runs or game overs, secrets etc.
