Unity - Completed - Rosé and the Demon Beast [v1.6] [Game-300]

This game is, frankly, awful to play. There's not enough arrows to go around, so you're spending most of your time just kicking the enemies, which is just so horrifically boring. It's also just slightly uncomfortably zoomed in, it's such a small field of view. And the control scheme itself is miserable.

But despite all of that, the porn redeems it easily. If you like game-over rape, this has a substantial amount of just amazing animations for you. The animations are clean and satisfying, the creature variety is fantastic, and best of all: You only have to get one ending to unlock the entire gallery. So you only have to deal with the miserable gameplay once! Be patient, dedicate a solid hour to a playthrough, and you'll be thoroughly rewarded.

Beyond all that, the style is just very nice. The backgrounds are really great, the lighting is very suprisingly good for pixel art, and have I mentioned how great the animations are yet? Would be a 5/5 if the gameplay wasn't just painful.

The art and animations are good.
Some of the mechanics are interesting as well, like the arrow resource management, or that the girl gives birth to little monsters that follow her around (though they don't contribute to gameplay).
Bestiality is the H-content's focus, which isn't my thing, but there are two or three slimes/tentacle monsters too.

However the gameplay is unforgivably bad. Playable, but not fun at all.
The biggest problem is that most of your play time goes into running through unnecessarily long corridors.
You dread ever taking a wrong turn, because it will take 5 minutes to run back to where you came from, plus you lose valuable arrows in the process. The difficulty spike towards the end is very high, you need to have lots of arrows left to get through it.
There are multiple endings and (I think) you have to beat it without ever getting caught in an H-animation to get the Good Ending, which is very hard to do and not worth the effort.

Terrible doesn't begin to describe this game, as far as gameplay is concerned. Not only are the controls janky but the combat is beyond repetitive as you slowly move left or right against hordes of enemy types that have more in common with an assembly line than random creatures spotted out in the wild. Doesn't help that the stages themselves are also incredibly tedious to navigate on an explorative note.

That said, it's not all bad. It's pixel art. The animations are solid, as is the art direction. Given this is the dev's first game, too, it gets an extra star for effort... though they should have diverted assets from this to build a better game at a later date, given what we have here struggles to be decent. Again, the art direction and animations are good quality but the game itself is sadly not worth finding time for.

I didn't like the game and I quit it because the gameplay needs to be improved, it's inconvenient to control the keyboard, the parkour component inherent in platformers is minimized and you have to beat waves of absolutely identical enemies. However, the author should be given credit, as the pixel animations turned out to be gorgeous. The game has potential if it is continued and the mechanics are improved.

As mentioned, by the other reviews, it is indeed a short and straightforward game with a simple storyline. It get its job done, while not get too drag out. Though, this is kinda a weired detail, but one of the ending remind me of a Alice in Wonderland doujin that I once liked a lot. Welp, overall, 10/10

This is a fairly short game, with well made porn animations, which fill a small handful of niches instead of trying to cover the whole spectrum.
This game is fairly short, and not too difficult, with several options to make it even easier (Head left at the start and kick the wall a few times to get access to infinite arrows).
That said,the game is also very, very janky and buggy, and has questionable design choices, like being unable to return to menu normally. Some glitches can be helpful in a way (Getting a game over allows you to quit out at any time by pressing enter, where you otherwise can't, smh), others certainly are not. (MC freezing in place if trying to move right as pregnancy progresses a stage)

Clearly inspired by Parasite in the city. Fantastic animations. Janky, but this aids in the difficulty of a short but sweet experience. Basically every enemy has a movement sequence that works against them. There's also a degree of resource management in the form of arrows, forcing you to take risks with your short range melee attack to have enough arrows for the boss fight. I enjoyed my (rather short) time with it.

What's not to like? Controls are insane, but work well enough once you're used to them. Plenty of weird hiccups and jank, but it is a unity sidescroller, so that should be expected.

If the sample images scratch an itch for you, I'd say its better than 50% of similarly inclined games. Solid 8/10, especially considering it is the first piece from the creator. looking forward to more.

Its a decent side-scroller pixel porn game. Animations are kinky although audio is monotonous, and there are various bugs that completely stop your character from moving.

Gameplay is on the easier side of things, so you can experience everything in one play-through if you wish.

Short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome. Art, animations, voice work, all good quality. Hoping for a sequel!

Very good two-step animations, with basic moans. A few animations have a variant for two monsters. Pregnancy mechanic, which changes the animation if you're pregnant. Gameplay sucks as other reviews mention, but since the game is fairly short if you use the community-provided Cheat Engine table in the comments, it doesn't overstay its welcome.
Only criticism is that the lose screens are just a repeat of the in-game fuck. Except for the two boss monsters where it's the only way besides the gallery to see them fuck you in pregnant state.

A simple and honestly fun side-scroller. Good, straight forward mechanics and fun /cute porn too! Only draw backs being that the genitals are blurred, their are a few glitches, and you still have to lose to the monsters to see the porn. However! There is a gallery that lets you scroll through all the scenes you've encountered.

All in all, 4/5!

Pixel art is decent, but the gameplay is really bad. The controls are clunky and the level design feels soulless. The gallery is also broken once you beat the game. No humanoid enemies either (except for the werewolf, I guess?), so that gets minus points from me as well.

This game's honestly just annoying to play. I don't recommend it, despite it being fairly short.

The animations are very good. Personally I love how it is clearly inspired by Parasite in the City. It's still the most we have gotten to a sequel to that game. And I think the best part about the game, besides being a sides croller, pretty much everything can get you pregnant in this game. You can walk with a pregnant bloated belly (even if just shortly) and give birth. Sometimes to a spawn that can rape you and impregnate you again. Becoming a breeding factory was my favorite part of PitC, so getting that a bit more fleshed out is amazing. The animations even change if you have a pregnant belly this time!
The kick doesn't have much range and there are little arrows in the game. People complain about that, but personally i found it passable, even ig repetitive sometimes. Kicking the smaller and medium mobs and wasting ammo on the big ones was my way of playing. And this variaty between way of engaging enemies was entertaining enough for me.
It's true too that I played the latest 1.6 version, so i didn't find any bugs. So i personally think it's a great game that did a lot of things good. With more polish i think everyone else can feel about it just as me.

As the other reviews said, it's not particularly great. I don't know why the devs released this game in this state, but you can definitely tell it was rushed.

It's buggy, and the bow animation has an annoying startup delay before you're allowed to shoot an arrow, meaning a lot of back and forth to avoid the enemy's attacks and shoot again. It has aimless level design, which is impressive considering it's just a bunch of corridors filled with enemies, and the game never explains the controls to you, you have to figure them out.

It's funny because the devs knew about the problems, and locked away infinite ammos in a secret room at the beginning of the game, as a bandaid to this game's issues instead of fixing them. If you still want to play the game for yourself (the art is nice after all), at the beginning, go left and kick the wall a few times, then go left to get the infinite arrows.

The art is definitely the best part of the game, and I appreciate the fetishes here, but you need to actually beat the game to see the whole gallery, which is also buggy too, with some scenes not even functioning.

I've seen on their DLSite page this is their first game, so I'm more enclined to be lenient, but I hope they learn from their mistakes here and make a better product in the future, especially since they charge money for this.

I'll make this as quick as possible for each and every thing I want to describe about this game. I'll obviously start with the fetish aspect of this game.

Oh yeah this was made in v1.1 when the worm's still bugged.

For another game with pregnancy+birthing tag, the Gallery is, again, incomplete and did not include any of the birthing of specific monsters. The slime animation cannot complete when the main character is already pregnant, did not even try to slow down or whatever, it's just cut. Also unity-slop tier jank that some UI buttons show the exact same scenes.

This game is absolutely carried by the hot pixel sprites, honestly. Gameplay works well as long as there's no attempt to do attacks frame-perfectly aligned to the sex trigger scenes. However, t's to be expected for a 50 MB unity slop to be janky.

Absolutely nothing special about the story whatsoever, even the ending bears no fruitful conclusion, but who cares, it's a 50 MB unity slop, it's to be expected.

I feel bad for anyone who tried to buy this even for its discounted price in DLsite, even cheaper unity/rpgmaker/combined games deliver better slop than this. The only thing stopping me from 1-staring is is the slime, nothing else.

However, since this is the circle's first game, I'm looking forward to whatever improvements they can do, of course, in the game aspect. I don't mind following this dev if they even quit making games and just stay to making animations.

Gameplay is... like unfuckingplayable if done as I am guessing is intended. Like the stupid as fuck get over it game. Technically and I mean super fucking technically it is playable.... but pretty much ain't :/ You got fuck all for arrows and I legit do not see how to beat this without going right left at start, kicking wall few times and then going left to get infinite arrows
As the entire well.... shit like pffft everything, flat out everything is the same and some few times you gotta go left threw me way the fuck off and which way I was needing to go or have gone. What I mean by everything is the background and floor and the entire map. It can look like your moving on a treadmill with a rotating backdrop.

Gameplay aside kudos to the artist for doing a great job. If you want a game like this but actually great, like real awesome sauce go look at Sayahata's Bad Day

Rushed and full of bugs, and not in the fun way.
Like so many Japanese games it needed more time in the oven. The gameplay is extremely limited and repetitive and I estimate I ran into at least one bug every 20 seconds, if not more.

The pixel art and animations are very good, which is very important for an H game. The gameplay is highly repetitive, but considering the game's length, it's tolerable (as long as you play on easy mode -- normal mode is just too tough to worth the experience).

My main issue with the game is all the bugs I've encountered so far for such a short game, in both EN and JP versions. Your gallery unlocks can get wiped off (and I heard you cannot unlock the full gallery in EN ver even after beating the final boss), which is the main interest of the game.
