Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on this project for a while — a lightweight launcher & manager for locally installed visual novels (especially Ren’Py ones).
The first public version is now out — and I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Features:

• Scans local folders and auto-detects visual novels
• Displays banners, descriptions, versions
• One-click launch for Ren'Py games
• Smart matching with F95Zone database
• Caching & offline use — fully local
• Roadmap includes sorting, cloud sync & more

Notes:

• Built with Electron + Angular
• Does not include any copyrighted games
• Works great with Ren'Py, Unity and RPGM support coming soon

Very based, however, I did have one issue. I installed it (Windows 10) and ran the program but got the attached image error. I then created the rozpusaApp folder in that directory and the program no longer launches with that error. Works fine regardless, even when the error pops up though once I get through the prompt.

Otherwise, seems to work with the few games I have. Updating games and more game recognition via metadata is pretty yuge so I would like to see that, best of luck to your project!

Thanks so much for the feedback — you’re officially my first, lol! Not sure if that means anything to you, but it means a lot to me!

Also — huge thanks for catching that error and figuring out a workaround on your own. Hats off to you! I was rearranging some files to make things tidier and managed to break a core part of the app. It’s like I was trying to repaint the facade, and accidentally knocked out a load-bearing wall.

This also made me realize I really need to implement an auto-updater, because at the rate I introduce bugs, I might spend more time shipping fixes than actually building the thing.

Upcoming Roadmap (v0.2.3 – v0.2.5)

Here’s what’s planned in the next few updates:

• ✅ Switch between game folders
  You’ll be able to manage more than one game directory.
• ✅ Latest release date label
  Release date will now appear on the top-right of the banner.
• ✅ Highlight recently updated games
  Games released in the past weeks will be highlighted in the list.
