I knew this update would be a bit controversial. I had to cut a lot of stuff for the time being because I'm in the process of upgrading a lot of the project to include things I had learned and developed the past two years. This broke a lot of things that I couldn't fix in time for the release. For example, the apartment was a very last minute cut because the lighting was broken and I had no time left to fix it.Did the update actually ADD anything or is this just removing content? The changelog looks very..... sad
You're describing a completely different game from the one I'm making.Might as well just scrap the exhibitionist theme all together, and make it a game about up-and-coming prostitute Rika who flashes potential johns and leads them to secluded areas for various paid sexual favors—you wouldn't even have to change the name.
Well I am VERY excited! Yes, there's a lot cut, but having watched through the development of MANY a games (porn and sfw) in my years, I know damn well that cutting content means making room for improvements!I knew this update would be a bit controversial. That's why a large focus on this release was expanding NPC behaviors to make them do more. I wanted to add something to make up for the temporary loss of features. I'll be re-adding them back in as I re-stabilize the game.

Yeah, if you consider multiple delays and "lmao when it's done! *grabbag plays*" active development... So many delays and not a single alpha released. In the sense that Jaguar left but otherwise, My Naked Li(f)e is still in active development by other people.
On the contrary, if that game wasn't in active development then the developers wouldn't be posting any weekly progress reports like Amber's character model being updated once again, animation work, character and environment designs, technical/programming work, etc. Heck, there wouldn't even be any delays because who's gonna announce a delay to a game if there's no one behind said game to work on it? It'd be effectively dead, wouldn't it?Yeah, if you consider multiple delays and "lmao when it's done! *grabbag plays*" active development... So many delays and not a single alpha released.
I get that but constantly being told "When it's done!" gets grading after awhile with no real end in sight, they said "see you next week" but I honestly doubt they'll have something playable by then, and it's going to be more delays followed by "When it's done!!!!! We promise! Just ignore the other times when we said it was almost done!!!" there's a good reason I bring up DNF a lot, since nobody want's another DNF, nobody wants to wait 14 years for a game they were hyped for, nobody wants to wait that long only for the game to release in an abysmal state. I get that it's frustrating that we still haven't got a playable demo for that game yet but you need to understand that game development is a very complicated time-consuming process especially if you're a solo dev or have a very small team depending on the game's scope and the budget and free time you have.
I get it, game development is hard and what I'm saying sounds entitled, I'm just disappointed that MNL has been delayed multiple times for silly reasons.I get that but constantly being told "When it's done!" gets grading after awhile with no real end in sight, they said "see you next week" but I honestly doubt they'll have something playable by then, and it's going to be more delays followed by "When it's done!!!!!
