There was a game on here, where a school girl investigates mysteries at her school. One of the memorable scenes is that she dreams that the PE teacher is going to have sex with her, and she willingly gives her virginity away thinking its a dream. You had the option to use some kind of device to see that its real life.

And the filters do nothing? Was it loli? Cause if I apply only female protagonist, mind control, school setting, and RPGM, I get less than 1 full page of results.

To be fair, the tags aren't always perfect. E.g. Magical Girl Celesphonia has hypnosis heavily featuring in one of the chapters (and persisting after), but it doesn't have the "mind control" tag.

Sure, that's fair. I know that tags are imperfect and in a lot of cases also incomplete. I think a communal tagging system would work wonders if possible to implement. Imagine if you could vote to add a tag and if a sufficient threshold is reached, it's automatically added, so that it's not the sole responsibility of the OP or mods. And to prevent trolling they could implement cooldowns after a tag is changed or added and severe punishments for bad actors.

But anyway, the guaranteed tags for what he's looking for are at the very least feMC and RPGM. That's "only" 58 pages of results. It doesn't take that long to sift through all of them. Add school setting and you're already down to 5. Then it only depends on the tag accuracy and if the game's allowed here and in the system in the first place.

True, tags could use a lot of work. IMHO I would love it if it were as detailed as e.g. AniDB's tag system, where it even indicates the prevalence of the topic (e.g. an anime with a beach episode gets a single star in the "beach setting" tag, while one taking place almost entirely on a beach will get 3 stars). But I think that's getting off-topic here.

Skiz, did you try searching the Latest Updates page for "Magical Girl" and "Mahou Shoujo"? Most games with magical girls in them seem to have either of these in the title.

I've tried most tag combination and searches. There is a chance I found the game in the translation section, which makes it even harder to find through searches

It's possible that it isn't in the system if it hasn't been translated and you found some kind of MTL version in a thread. If it's a Japanese game, the surefire way to find it would be using DLsite itself. Only 32 with the magical girl and mind control tags, and 49 with the transforming girl and mind control tags. I think the key difference between these two is the nuance behind the origin of their powers. Transforming can be sci-fi or similar, and not necessarily magical. I've also excluded works from major developers and VN-like games, since you're looking for a RPGM title after all.
