Not sure if it was due to a Microsoft, NVIDIA, or whatever update but a large portion of the RPG Maker MV games i have just stopped working.
When i execute the program a window pops up with some japanese characters on the title bar and a black screen for a brief second. No error, just closes a second after i execute. No relevant logs in windows event or in the game folder.
I am on Japanese locale. and these games were completed and i just wanted to revisit.
I tried: run as admin, Compatibility mode (7,vista,xp) , Ran on virtual box (unbearably slow - expected), antivirus off (bitdefender), re-download, move folder location.
all Rpg maker VX games are fine, no discernible pattern on the games affected
Some of the affected games are: (all games listed aquired for f95; Untranslated, or games acquired elsewhere also affected)

Hellfrost Flesh Toilet Knight Styria (*both 1 and 2)
Divine Miko Koyori
Milking Farm
