Hey all,
I've been debating on which one of these engines to use for a couple of weeks now and I'd like some insight. I'm leaning towards making a visual novel game, with no walking, no sprites, etc. This leads me to believe that Ren'Py would make more sense. On the other hand, I have years of experience using the RPG Maker engines (aside from the coding language used).
With that said, would it still be more beneficial to learn Ren'Py and use it for a visual novel type game? Also if I do use Ren'Py, are there scripts/plugins that add new functionality like a quest log for example?
Thank you!
