RTX 3070 vs. RTX 3060

I have a simple question. No need to overcomplicate which video card is better for Daz3D render usage?
Let the price not matter!
Rather, the technical part is important.

Would you be most interested in whether (3060) 12GB VRam is more important or (3070) more advanced technology?

Generally speaking I prefer VRAM over Cuda cores (i.e. scene complexity over render speed) but I am a whore for kitbashed sets with many actors in them so I need loads of VRAM (If only I could get my hands on the 3090). But not everybody is like me If you want to render mostly simple scenes and/or lots of animations than the increased speed of the 3070 might be more suitable for you.

TLDR it depends



Edit: based on a quick glance of your galary I'd say you might be better suited for the 3070 unless you have crazy plans

I have a 3070TI, it only has 8 gig of vram, I cant afford a 3080 and wouldn't spend top dollar on a 3090 just to make two 3d characters fuck. I do a lot of close ups, I seldom have more than two characters on the screen, for what I want to do 8 gig of vram is plenty, I never run out of it.

I had to do some search about these 2, and after analyzing the data here is my conclusion.

Sure the 3060 has more memory, and a slightly better speed.

But 3070 is way better not only because of the Cuda (That is almost another GC of difference), but because of the 256bits interface.

So if you don't care about the price and the rest of your machine is up to the task, 3070OC all the way.

all the others parameter can be tuned by the render settings, BUT if u are OUT of vram u are in trouble, so for rendering 3060 or 3090 but the prices now is crazy, so better NOTHING
