The Domme is manipulative, that is all. Same with the Dom later in the series. I thought this was a great story, I started to hate it but after a while it starts to click, why the main Domme is so cruel to the professor, etc.

There is a surprisingly amount of character development. It is less porn and more an exploration of S/M roles and sexuality in general.

Also to the other question about cruel or kind femdom. It depends on who she is with for obvious reasons once the story unfolds.
