Ren'Py - Salvation in Nightmare [v0.7.3] [FunkyMunke]

Really like the game, the concept may not be new or revolutionary, but it's solid, valid and with lots of potentialities. Also, love the fact that is gay friendly, Ichiro is HOT, but everyone is truly beautiful in their own differencies. And Lust, damm, he's something else, he's funny, ironic and he's not just the dirty interior mind that tells you how hot and sexy are the characters, but he's also the part of yourself hat pushes you to be bolder, reckless maby, but without him the protagonist would probably be much more boring and passive. Love that guy, he's such a smartass! Sadly, and that's the reason I'm giving it 4/5, the plot is lackuster, it's kinda obscure and not defined, and it's not clear how the characters can impact the story outside for the eritic dreams (that are OK, more than OK!). I'd advise the author to look at two games for inspiration on how to be better in such aspect: Dimension 69 and School of Love - Clubs. They can be a pretty solid start in order to make things right and have a much clearer structure for the game. Still, great game, love the gay stuff and love the game in general! Kudos!

Has a decent premise, a mildly interesting story, and half-decent models. Not to mention it's nice to see a KK game with primarily gay themes. But what's here is very bare-bones, VERY bare-bones. Needs a lot more fleshing out to be anything worth remembering. I'll be keeping an eye on it anyway, since I like the character designs, and the sex scenes are okay.

There are some good things about this game, but not enough to overcome the limitations inherent in the format and presentation of the material. Each day there is the opportunity to do 1 activity, when you interact with a possible LI who each can be found in only 1 location. the interactions are scripted, and obvious choices lead to an increase or decrease in the LI's attraction to you. After meeting a LI, during your sleep you can access a nightmare featuring the LI, but which ends without any resolution. I think the idea is probably interesting, but the structure of the game and the paucity of content make it not worth more than a couple stars.

Sorry, but this game is not good and it will never become good.

6 months have passed since this was first posted here, and I have the exact same problems I had when I first tested it.


1. Gameplay is just a mess:
-There are no real choices outside of being mean for no reason (you don't get anything from it)
-The "Sandbox" is basically just meeting one character, talking to them and going to sleep, repeat 50 times to maybe get a scene, there is literally nothing else to do
-You know why I said "maybe" get a scene? Because this game has RNG built into it for no reason
-Oh, I forgot to add, there is a money mechanic in this game that does absolutely nothing except make the grind even worse (and the money you get is RANDOM, FUCKING RANDOM)

2. The story is basically non existent:
-Just go to place, met new character there, get quick introduction and then you get basically no more dialogue
-There is quite literally no content, you could do all the story in less than 5 minutes (if RNG doesn't fuck you, like I said before)

3. Porn? What is that?
-Literally almost no sex scenes. Got 1 with the dude in the gym showers, 1 with the cat boy in the beach masturbating, 1 where you fall on top of your brother and that is all. I remember this thing having more, but literally no matter where I click now this screen appears basically telling me "No more content, get out".


Also, the dev seems to want to keep adding more and more characters instead of actually putting effort on fleashing out the characters that already are in the game.

Just don't waste your time.

Giving a true and fair evaluation is a bit difficult given that the game is still in the development phase and still in the early stages of the story.
But from what I see, I can say that the game has a lot of potential. Yes, many things are not yet fully developed, let's give time to time and we will surely see great results.
Then, unlike many games created with Koikatsu, here the animations and scenes are also taken care of in detail. The animations are fluid and clean and the characters are well proportioned and well made and above all original and not basic characters slightly modified.
And in how many koikatsu games, we can see a furry like Uma and not a simple human with some animal details? This is a detail that I do not underestimate. I really love that character and hope there will be more content with him soon.

so far this is a waste of time. the only sex scenes are in your dreams. very few scenes,i didnt even find the shower handjob.

gameplay is basically you choose from 6 location to go to. each has 1 unique person there. if you go there and talk to the person the day ends... and during sleeping you can dream some sex scenes... this game is a complete waste of time so far. for the sole reason of every locaiton you can interact with that person once.. that's it. end of content.

then you can repeat that event for some bonus relationship points (if it even has the option) .. the thing is, that part doesn't work either LOL. at best i think it removed relationship point but never added despite the icon appearing... so it's even bugged with this little content.

honestly i wanted to give it 2 or 3 for the potential, but first version was in july, now it's nearly december. and there is nothing interesting still in the game. the concept is nice, it has gay scenes. (more so than straight in the future probably) and i like bisex games, there are a very few of them.. but this is not it... maybe in a very long time this game will be good, it has koikatsu engine so it's easy to make sex scenes, so maybe there is a potential and i might change my rating, but if 5month was not enough with this engine to get anywhere in the story or porn then it would need like fkin 2-3 years until it gets at least playable.

so imo 1/5 is deserved. waste of time.

Can't really rate the game that much since it's very early with only like 3 lewd scenes, but it has a lot of potential. The scenes were hot, the animations are great, the art looks really clean and better than the weird koikatsu proportions (also no censorship, giant plus), and the characters look interesting. Looking forward to the progress. Also hope there is more diversity in terms of the sub/dom exchanges. Would be bad if it was all sub routes basically. Good work!
