I've mostly played games that don't strictly stick to what the game wants you to do, but you just kind of find your own way and everything else is optional.
Bonus points for creating your own character or having some form of customization.
I mostly think of x-change, Lilith's throne, CoC and TITS when talking about these kind of games but I was wondering if there was more out there I am missing.
I suppose Slavemaker also fits into this.
I recognize all of these are a bit niche so I'll be grateful for any suggestions you got for me.
EDIT: I also played Karryn's Prison. I felt it was quick enough to start and I could play the game whichever way I wanted.
