VN - Ren'Py - Sandy Bay [v0.97] [Lex]

I'm giving it a 2 for the work done out of respect for the author!
Interesting idea, though tried many times! But here we are, again and again, a problem with the notion of the heroine's choice and yet another problem with the respect and balance of the lesbian route! Therefore, even if the game has its qualities, I've now decided to lower my ratings if the announced lesbian route isn't balanced compared to the other routes!
The protagonist doesn't really have a choice or the ability to do so except to cheat or not cheat, but in no case can she actively act; it's an impression given to the player!
The lesbian route is a misnomer because the protagonist still finds herself having to interact sexually with men!
Finally, two big rants about AVN as a whole and its evolutions over the past year or two:
-rather than announcing possible choices, it would be better to clearly announce things and announce a kinetic novel. After all, many AVNs are paid or Patreon subscriptions. This made me stop supporting many Patreons, by the way (not under this username, obviously).
- These are indeed adult fiction works, but even so, AVNs too often become a vehicle for certain more than borderline practices! A special category should be created for this purpose. I'm not saying this for the developer of this AVN, but we can already sense a shift toward a more demanding demand (or because of demands): BDSM is one thing, for example, rape is another!

Amazing, easily one of the best female pov cuckold games. Girls design is great and male characters are surprisingly decently designed as well. Even some funny moments such as interactions with your parents. 10/10 honestly.

I find the female models to be attractive in general, and the FMC in particular is sexy in a cute kind of way (small stature/breasts, freckles). The sex scenes are okay, though they lack animations (note: some animations added now).

However, the potential of this game for me is destroyed by the presence of forced choices. In other words, it doesn't really matter what I as the gamer choose in relation to the FMC, as the FMC will make certain undue choices regardless. For example, even if I choose the path that leads the FMC to be the most faithful to her boyfriend, there is no choice but for the FMC to have a threesome with that meathead Johnny; there is no choice but for the FMC to stick her boss' dick in her mouth; and there is no choice but for the FMC to develop at least somewhat of a big dick fetish (for dicks bigger than her boyfriend's dick currently is, of course).

Then on what's supposed to be the lesbian route, there is no choice but for the FMC to suck dick at times.

Also, if the FMC chooses not to go to the beach with these two musclebound guys who approach her at the library, then the current version of the game ends much sooner, as there is no substitute content to replace the scenes with those two guys. However, if the FMC chooses to go to the beach with the two musclebound dudes who approach her at the library, then she enters into this blackmail scenario where she has to suck black dick and ultimately ends up in this semi-rape type scenario where she is held down by one big guy as the other big black guy fucks her, which she of course just happens to love after being forced into it (in part because of her big dick fetish and more specifically in this case her newfound craving for BBC).

Oh, the library in this game is a crazy place, by the way; people are stripping naked and engaging in sex acts in there pretty often, and apparently no one ever notices as they are never caught doing it.

I tried playing this game and the premise and the scenarios are really good but the girl looks too young, even though the character is 19 yo... It really kills my buzz and this single factor makes the game unplayable for me.
Again, everything else is really good if you are a NTR fan, but the FMC looks too young for my taste and that's why I'm giving it a low score.

It's an ok, middle of the road AVN but there's nothing special about it to make it stand out from the pack.

The models are fine but really it feels like it's older than it is, the renders feel kinda dated. There's not really anything wrong with that but given the story's somewhat mid then nothing seems to be supporting any other lacking part of the game. If the story was stellar it wouldn't matter and if the renders were superb then people might be more forgiving.

The game's really just a cuck simulator. FMC moves away from boyfriend and suddenly decides to become addicted to dick. Standard fare as these type of games go but there's no subtly to is. Even the models are designed to be physically smaller in stature, in a way to suggest these ones are better, the "alphas" as opposed to those smaller, loser "beta" boys to be cucked.

The game also suffers from that cardinal sin of giving the user no choice. The tagline goes " You'll need to decide whether she stays loyal, or if it's time she spreads her wings. "

But there's no decision to make if you want to play. You can say yes, and progress the plot, or say no and get zero content. There's no branching it seems but instead more a route one with the option to skip. Don't like Johnny? Well your options are "think again" or "go play another game". Which is pretty poor story telling.

Story is bland and clearly not the main thing you should go for in this game, alot of it dosent really make sense due to choices being ignored, like if you do pure lesbian route your still forced to suck dicks which is a pretty huge flaw in my eyes and if you go pure stright route you will still be forced into lesbian shit, so theres no real routes in this game and that hurts it alot.

The girls are ok but you cant really get into a real relationship with anyone, one girl or guy already in a relationship which you can join but i dont care about sharing, another virgin girl does all kind of shit even after you as the MC goes after her, she will still do play with dudes so if your looking for one or more normal relationships wthout sharing its not possible.

Renders are a bit to low quality and the animations are pretty poor both in quality, cam views in many cases and alot arent animated either.

Not sure who this game aims to please but i dont think any hardcore NTR fans or cuckcold players will be happy with it and same goes for people looking for a relationship type game.

Some choices dont seem to matter at all and without having any real routes it feels more forced then anything.

This is not high art story telling. It is a corruption/NTR/Cuck with very hot looking girls. It delivers on that premise. If you are looking for logic and believability - move on. Given the majority of VNs on the site don't deliver on either one, not sure why this VN gets docked for it.

If you like the genre - play the game. The girls are ridiculously cute. Didn't give it a 5 star because of the save issues (although, my save worked just fine on the new release. I support this Dev and get it directly from his site.)

Started out pretty good, but with mediocre models. Later it got to that crap where new updates break old saves. Also, another one with way too slow of a burn early one, so starting over means going through all the boring parts again. Story wasn't as good later on, either with a lot of stuff that would not possibly ever happen (corporal punishment at university level in a country where it's illegal in schools period, for example.) Also, in some instances choices don't matter.

I quite liked this game even though the scenarios and choices are a bit unbelievable.

It makes up for this with good dialogue that is funny and realistic. A lot of these games either suffer from broken English or way too much text. I think this one strikes the right balance. There are a decent amount of choices too.

Just be aware that it's ultimately a silly porn game with an emphasis on humourous and sexy situations. If you're after eroticism and thought-provoking drama, look elsewhere.

I've tried to understand what's wrong with this game for a long time and recent updates finally opened my eyes.

This game does not deliver what you expect.

And I know expectations are subjective, but if you think about it - what do you expect when you see models and basic situation around our heroine, Johnny and Robbie? You expect main character to cheat on Robbie with Johnny and in time graduate to open relationship or cuckoldry from that. But... that's not what happened. Instead Johnny comes as package deal (or at least I wasn't able to find a plot thread which separates them) with his GF. Which is, first of all, I'm personally not interested in - and second of all, as I stated, it's not the most obvious and expected situation. Instead of a young heroine, messily fucking around with young stud who is more than happy to have more pussy, we have... something more normal for a swingers plot. Something like Maddy and Johnny constantly engaging our heroine together looks like married couple behaviour, and not like messy behaviour of young people.
This is the biggest example, but it's everywhere. Main heroine boss for example - you thought "young girl and workplace relationships with older man" will be logical plot? Take a load of strange serums and whatnot. You thought main character goes to school/uni will open her to more guys like Johnny, but single, and/or lusty teachers? Get a spanking from chubby girl and shaving Emma's bush.
Also, as other people pointed out, you can't escape certain content. It feeds into the bigger issue described by me, and for me it's highlighted by girl-on-girl scenes. I avoided any peeping on Maddy and Emma, I turned down any invitations by Maddy and Johnny together... But my character still fools around with Maddy and Emma at the beach!

So, in conclusion,this game does not deliver what you expect and what it's delivers is often strangely shoehorned and unavoidable. It looks good and has certain charm to models and writing, but it's not what you think you'll get from the "young girl explores her sex drive with or behind her boyfriend's back" type of deal.

Character models are really cute and I liked the dialogue. Looking forward to seeing this game progress! I personally don't like when the backgrounds don't match where the characters are standing, but that's more of a design choice and certainly doesn't change my rating of the game.

I am glad I tried it, I almost didn't reading the reviews here, but it is MUCH better than I expected.

It is a classic corruption story, with good art, decent animations and a broad cast of likeable characters that aren't completely one-sided. Also the humour is really on point.

It has a lot of content already and the path forward looks interesting. So far the content is fairly vanilla, but it's really fun to watch Aimee on her journey. She is a relatable, believable and likeable character. I love her interaction with her parents. I could really relate.

Go try it! It is worth it.

Its all fine. Basic F MC corruption game. Slow burn though. The writing is way above average. Quite good actually. The boyfriend is appropriately beta. You CAN play the game as a faithful girlfriend, but if thats your things you should probably be playing a different game. These sorts of games are specifically for folks who want to turn out the innocent girl. Play something else if you want a love story. It feel entirely tacked on. That said, the main corruption storyline is quite well done. Oh, the mother character is absolutely hilarious as a reformed school-girl slut happily married to the father character.

All is not good though. The renders... urgh. It feels like a 20 year old Japanese AVN. The backgrounds are NOT 3D. They're just 2D backgrounds with the characters as basically foreground sprites. Its very 2005 renders that way. Look at the banner image. All the renders are done that way. Zero depth. I'm not being all render elitist here, its seriously a 20 year throwback. So odd. That said the girls are all super cute. Its a shame really. Everyone basically floats on a 2D background. Its really hard to get over. That said the writing makes it a 3* for me.

The babes are hot, the scenarios is fleshed out, and the writing is solid. Here's the scoop. You play as a nubile cutie with a long distance boyfriend who is tempted with the possibility of cheating. Now you don't HAVE TO, but obviously that's one of the big appeals of the game. Many scenes feature fluid animations and numerous facial expressions to convey the dynamic nature of the action. The fact is, its above average when compared to most other VNs. I'm excited to see what the dev will do with this game, because it has plenty of potential.

Story/Content:
I think the story has a decent premise, but it isn´t well executed at this point.
In my save, she is annoyed by her "boyfriend" and is open to cheat, but she still has contact with him and offered him her virginity when he returns, which just doesn´t make any sense.
The Story feels dull and doesn´t seem to pick up the pace yet.
Contentwise there is not much there yet. I haven´t seen a sex scene, except a lesbian scene and when she was peeking at people, and those were rather dull.

Text Messages:
They are incredibly annoying . I don´t want to be bombarded with so much text, which especially is an issue when she is texting Robbie.
She also actively tries to contact him sometimes, which doesn´t make sense from a story perspective, because she is annoyed by him and is open to cheat.

Character Models:
I think most Character Models look decent, but the most important character in the game - the main character - has a problem, and that is her face. The other girls look pretty good and the MC´s body also, but her face doesn´t look attractive imo.

The Game has in my opinion a Great Story, and the Girls look fine and no blue balls so far, also like the different characters in the Game also nice to see the fat character again, used to see him alot, but he has been pretty scarce lately.

Unfortunately 3 stars is too high for this game. renders are not good, they are not the high quality. Some of them even has wrong proportions. Storyline consists of too much text. It's a bad comics, not a game with lots of renders and animations. So no update needed due to weak interest.

I'm playing v0.3. I honestly didn't expect a lot of this game. The story is rather linear and the choices are rare. HOWEVER, if you're ready to laugh your ass off as the uncomfortably openness of the MC's mother about her sexuality and the MC's reactions and thoughts (to which I am) I think you should give this game a try.

I'd hate to be the first one to do this to you, but man this game needs a ton of work.
First and foremost, your graphics are not great. With a bit of TLC, you can definitely vamp up the quality of your DAZ models, and backgrounds. Characters standing within a flat space is not great looking anymore.
Also, the story is incredibly dull, and the dialog didn't keep me engaged.

I suggest starting over from scratch, nabbing a decent artist and trying again. I see potential in your idea, just the execution sucked.
