Unreal Engine - Sapphire Safari [v0.26hf1 GOG] [Kinky Fridays]

Sapphire Safari is a great game. Tons of fun. The game mechanics are fun and deep and there seems like a lot of room to grow in making the game even better. I have enjoyed it quite a bit.

I especially like the varied behaviours of the monster girls and also the variety!

For every meaning of the word, this is excellent.
I keep coming back, it has this draw with both being a fun game, and pornographic.
You can take pictures, have sex, it's pretty great!

I never thought I'd enjoy this concept this much. There's already quite a bit to discover, since you have to get accepted by all the species(so you can have sex with them) and you have to snap a picture of each sex act so you can use it yourself. The map is big and the different spots do no feature the same species. You have to understand how to take good-ranking pictures (mostly that means taking full front pictures of genitals lmao) and make sure you take quite a few for different behaviors and actions for each species). I think the fun part is the sex moon : every four days every creature gets aroused and everyone fucks everywhere, a great occasion to discover a lot of sex acts but you have to stay hidden so you don't get fucked here and then, as it skips the sex moon and you don't get another one for a while.

I can't wait to see how they develop the other regions, the rival (can you get to see him/her to do field work ?) and new species.

The game is gradually developing, and that's a good thing. The story hasn't been written yet, but there's already a full sandbox, it just lacks interactivity to keep players engaged longer. I'd like to see a breeding mode, looting, and crafting in this game, as well as a character editor.

It's okay. The models are decent, but actually trying to get S rank photos is very difficult with how aware they are of your presence. Check on this game in late 2026, or early 2027. I would assume that it would be much better.

Good game, I really enjoyed playing this game, If that makes a furry ok but so far so good. If you want to be fucked by a pokemon this game is for you.

While basic in the current version, it offers good gameplay and decent controls (unless you are playing with a controller). Few minor bug fixes and optimizations are only needed 'till the next big update drops

Well, what can I say, yet another dumpster of a game that will never get finished and even if it will, I couldn't possible care less.
The promise of this game was wonderous. You are on-rails, going through the gorgeous safari zone, taking pictures of beautiful naked pokemon pals creatures in possibly lewd poses(I woulda been pissing from happiness even without that sorta thing), maybe having some options to cause aforementioned poses. The few screenshots that I've seen were also greatly increasing my interest in this game.
And then I found out that developers decided to *go big* and make the game open-world. That has immediately turned me off and so I decided to try it right now, without waiting for a stable release.

Now, onto the review.
Bad performance, puke-worthy surroundings, inbred pokemons that just wander around and fuck, awful and boring picture-taking mechanic. The state of the game in comparison to the promo material indicates only one thing - the game was never meant to be wonderous. Just another cash-grab. But I gotta give it to them, their promo material was one of the strongest ones that I've seen in a long while(but of course I still wish them all the worst). And so that's just another example of why you should never support a game that has not shown its gameplay.


Seeing Gianni in the credits was quite an intrigue, but it soon turned into a massive disappointment. I liked that guy, but now in my head he is associated not only with the voice of Gabriel from ULTRAKILL, but also with this garbage.

Spent quite a bit of time in this and found it to be overall quite enjoyable. The gameplay loop is fun and the premise is interesting. I like the designs for the girls quite a lot as well. There are a few issues that are keeping me form giving it 5 stars however. A minor issue is that the movement and in particular jumping has quite a lot of jank for now, its bearable though. Two major issues, one is the monstrasutra, in order to unlock animations you need to photograph monster girls going at it. This seems fine at first until you pick the male mc and set the futa spawn to none, now you can no longer unlock any animations. So futa content is not actually optional at all (if this is the intended mechanic why even offer the ability to disable it). Major issue 2 is the big one, the current animations are just absolutely scuffed at the moment. Sometimes they work and when they do is good stuff, the majority of the time however, the genitals completely miss each other, or the characters kind of hover near each other, or your dick clips through your own ass cheeks, or in the worst and funniest examples one of the models just gets absolutely folded like a fucking pretzel twist. This game has heart and a good premise though so if this gets fixed Ill happily come back and change my review.

I must say that this Pokémon Snap-like game in development is surprisingly polished. The core mechanic, Pokémon photography, is intuitive and easy to know how to use. Capturing the perfect moment, with the right lighting and the ideal pose, with the nsfw that becomes an exciting challenge. Maybe It hasn't enough interactions, things to do or npc at the gameplay but as I said, It's in development , each with its own quirks and behaviors that make each play session unique.

Beyond the core mechanics, interacting with npc adds an unexpected layer of depth. You won't just be spectators; their dialogue and reactions bring personality to the game world and reveal valuable information about the Pokémon. These interactions are not only functional but are well-written and add a touch of humor and charm to the game.

Nice theme BUTT Holy fucking god, It can be the worst optimization i have ever seen also nothing completed lol xD They didn't even put a climbing animation. Don't try to fast travel because game stuck in the loading screen. All the controls feels so chunky it's like controlling a barrel filled by outdated beer lol xD You can't even call this game early access, this thing didn't even fertilated in mother's egg. Trust me and stay away from it. It could be a good sex version of pokemon but nah... I would rather play candy crush sex games instead of this

I have played this game for several hours and really love it. It isn`t just a straight forward story as you have a different situation all the time that you can also partially influence yourself.
It`s great that you can decide yourself what character you want to be and what kind of sex you would like to have, MF, MM, FF.
Hopefully there will be some more addes such as thresseomes.

There's a lot left for the devs to implement, but the game is in a good state now with version 0.24. The voice acting is great and the mechanics seem pretty solid. I do wish there was some more guidance throughout the game, the initial tutorial kind of packs everything in at once.

Some of the older reviews are outdated, they have a jump button now although it's pretty useless. There's some good ideas here and it all works surprisingly well.. except for the scenes. The animations are nothing like the preview. I play as a guy and the insertion is wayy off, I'm thrusting into these bitches at some wacky angles. I unlocked a BJ position for example, and it's going straight up through her chin. Busting a nut to any of these scenes would take some pure dedication. Other than that though, some solid ideas

Im not a person of much words but this game is too good i like it .....

This game shows some potential but I never got to play any of it due to the horrific intro/start set up. Unskippable 8 minute recordings of 2 men talking. Hundreds of phone calls/pop ups/announcements of the next tutorial item to run towards.

Holy shit this game would be better with zero tutorial, zero pop ups, and zero unskippable recordings and just let the player play the game.

4/5 Stars because it is good and playable, in a pleasant way and there is room for improvement

I rarely post on this forum, but I've seen some criticism about this game which I disagree. I'm not a new NSFW game player, I have 40 hours in Breeders of the Nephelym, 25 hours in Mad Island, and I've been playing Illusion games for like 7 years or so I think, so let me give you my perspective on Sapphire Safari. (I also played Carnal Instinct, Cloud Meadow, Forest of the Blue Skin, Hunt and Snare, KoboldKare, Rack, Succubus Affection, Wild Life, so yes I have some experience with monster girl games)

Years ago I tried this game, I'm not sure if it was either in 2021 or 2022, and I felt the game felt like a prototype. The idea was there, but it was definitely barebones at the time (I do not mean to be rude to the developer, just honest). Then, I was already interested at the concept, and I discovered the game went through a heavy re-working: it was first intended as a linear, railroaded photoshooter, and then it got scrapped to become an open world monster girl game (a change which I totally approve).

Fast forward to 2024, to the 0.22v build, and in my opinion, this now feels like a GAME. You can see monster girls interacting with each other, they react to you in different ways. They will initially run away and later on they will pose for your photos and you can also do more. Now the game world feels alive. I want to congratulate the dev because I played most of the successful monster girl games and also many NSFW open world games and in my opinion very few of them actually feel alive, and this one does.

So I feel a lot of the criticism to this game is unfounded. Firstly, you CAN have sex with the monster girls, but it requires grinding; this is not a quick-fap game, this is an open world game with different species which are unknown to the protagonist (and they are unknown to the species). For people complaining that not having access to quick sex is not good in an erotic game, just look at Mad Island; a very successful adult game in which also you have to grind some hours before you have access to frequent sex (just ask anyone that played it).

In my opinion, as a 3D NSFW open world monster girl game, this game is very good as it is and is above average for 3D NSFW games. There is a variety of species, it is fun taking photos of the monster girls doing different things, and they pose for you and some even attack you. I'm very satisfied with what is available, my only suggestion to the dev is changing the movement of the monster girls: I have a feeling their movement is a little uncanny, maybe they move too fast, I'm not sure exactly what specifically causes this but maybe take a look at the movement of NPCs in other successful open world games (GTA, Breeders of the Nephelym); maybe with a slower movement the world would feel a little more "natural" (if that even makes sense in a monster girl game). This is just my opinion, though.

Also, I believe not everyone will actually understand that you need to grind in this game to be able to initiate sex with monster girls yourself (except being attacked of course). Yes there are tutorials, but let's remember not everyone reads them. In this sense, and I think this suggestion would be controversial, maybe add a "Easy Mode" (Tourist Mode, perhaps?) for people who do not like grinding in which they can initiate sex with monster girls without having to build familiarity through gameplay. I know this is controversial, I actually like the grinding in this game, but I reckon not everyone will, some people will just buy and download this to have quick sex with monster girls, they may skip all tutorials, and then when all monster girls run away from them, they will complain "no sex in this game bruh", so this is my suggestion so the developer can sell more copies (and please, of course, keep the original mode for those of us who actually enjoy a little challenge in our erotic games)

Kudos to the developer, I hope they continue their work, and this will be a day 1 purchase from me when it releases as Early Access on Steam

I put 5 stars despite it still largely improvable, especially regarding the difficulty of taking a very well-rated photo and a few rare bugs. But the rating feels very low due to the past 4 years of "nothingness".

v0.22d: The game is very good as it is. After 4 years of development, we feel that a guideline is emerging, and the game finally deserves that we are interested in it. there is already a lot of content, a dozen species, about twenty different positions, for each species about thirty photos to take, and we are even starting to have elements of lore to go and find by exploring the map.

Keep it up!

As of the more recent updates (v0.22d) this game has got most of the stuff people said was missing and is very fun to play now. Saying the game "has potential" doesnt usually mean much, even though i think this does.

I'm only reviewing this current version and thats why its a 4 star. there are clipping issues a few bugs (no crashes) and defenitly more work to be done, but in its current state it is well worth the download and is very fun (and horny).

most reviews at this point aren't even relevant other then how long its been in development. but as f95 users we arent paying a patreon so i am not bothered with how long things can take.
