VN - Ren'Py - Sara - Oh Daddy Part 2 [XMas Special] [Nightaku]

First things first, the graphics and animations are good. Nothing spectacular, but well above average. I was a bit afraid of loli content after seeing the preview pics, but it was ok imo, for the most part. The daughter looks pretty young though, her face especially, so keep that in mind before downloading. The game deliberately doesn't mention any ages.

So, the story. There's a lot of it, like REALLY a lot. You spend 80% of the time trying to find out what happened to the MC before he lost his memories.
It's not bad, far from it, although not exactly original, but at the same time I didn't really connect with the characters because the game spends so much time on the plot that there's not nearly enough time to explore them. That's a big problem imo.

Which leads me to the second big issue I have with the game: The sex scenes and they suffer from the same problem as the characters do. They don't get enough time.
There's no build up or tension. The sex just ..... happens. I can't really explain it, the sex itself isn't bad, the dialogue isn't bad, it just feels so disconnected. Like the dev remembered that this is a porn game and needed sex in it.
What's also a problem: All the women are extremely open minded and horny. Nothing wrong with that per se, (although different personalities are definitely appreciated in a game), I certainly don't miss a naive daughter who behaves like a 12 year old, but as a result, there's no tension or taboo in any of it, which is kind of shocking giving the premise of the game. They are also all instantly attracted to the MC, so again, no build up or tension.

Something positive now. I actually liked the writing for the most part. The game gets something 95% of these games fail at: understanding that it's a VISUAL Novel.
So no explaining what's happening on screen, no endless monologues explaining the character's feelings, the game uses the visual part to show it. I really can't praise it enough for that.
The dialogue is short, but conveys all the import information without boring the player, again .

So, this review is a lot longer than I planned it to be. I think it's because I can see the potential for something really good here, but in the end it didn't convince me in its current state. I will definitely give it another try later though.

Edit: Oh, I nearly forgot. So far the game is completely kinetic. So be warned. If you want a game where you can influence the plot or who to be with or the MC's behaviour, or simply where to cum, this ain't it.

It's still early, but the plot already includes anonymous benefactors, shadowy goings-on in a monastery, and briefcases full of money. It feels a bit over the top compared to the average-Joe MC.

Models are decent; characterization is a bit shallow, but maybe will get more depth in future chapters.

Animations are a bit better than those in the original game. However, porn is now much more scarce and the focus of the plot is on uncovering who's behind the disappearance of Sara and the incident with the boat that left the MC out of the picture for 2 years.

Honestly, I can't say I'm ecstatic with the way things go in Part 2 but if the developer wants to take the story this way it's up to them. I enjoy a mystery plot just as much as the next fellow but for now I don't see how this can end up making sense. I did like the rivalry between Sara and Kayla and even feel sorry for the latter at times. I suppose we'll see where this goes...

An amazing dev, "más bueno que el pan," with a visual novel project that really shines for its quality and attention to detail. From what the creator has shared with me, there's a Halloween special in the works that looks absolutely killer in terms of atmosphere and design!

I can't believe what this game turned into! (I just played through v0.2).

The first part of this game was good, but it was just light-hearted "innocent" daddy-daughter fun. At least that's how I remember it.

Then comes "part 2" and we're tossed into a crime mystery, with Sara gone, the MC having amnesia, three years having passed... And I'm here for it! I'm intrigued. I'm invested. Not just in the lewd stuff, which is better than ever, but also in the plot.

So far I'm really loving this. The renders are close to perfection, and Sara is more beautiful than ever.

The game is generally good, the plot is normal, the characters are sexy, I think that the second part will also be top as the first one, fun with my daughter will be in this new part and in the new house we are waiting for a new version of the game

My score for Sara - Oh Daddy Part 2 is 10/10 because our beloved Sara is back with us. Sara is a perfect girl and very beautiful. I think the other characters and modeling are very nice. It seems like the story of the game is just beginning to unfold and fall into place. There is still a long way to go. . Sara's lust surprised me and I liked it very much. I liked the gameplay of the second part very much, you can even say that the second part is better than the first. The plot is excellent, the characters are beautiful, the environment is well made, and the first part was good too

This is a really promising start! The animations are a step up from the last game and those animations good. Can't wait to see more! The new sara look is also good. The resolution of the images and video are better than some of the other VN's on here that I have played and enjoyed.

Age ups suck, but I guess when the MC is stuck in a coma for 3 years that's unavoidable, time marching on and waiting for no one and all that. At least in this one that was done in a better thought out way than alot of (former) loli AVNs that shall remain unnamed over the past 6-8 months or so that basically just switched models and left no explanation or canon reason how or why that happened (very jarring and immersion-breaking, and pissed alot of former subs off). So Sara went from 10-11 in the prequel to 13-14 in this one (yeah, I know, both are "18" *wink wink* blah blah blah).
Aside from that this one has some of the better Daz animations, not the same 5-7yo stock positions on repeat like most. Story is, well, too early to tell (v 0.2) but there's a mystery to be solved and revenge to be taken for those into that, but put simply the MC doesn't come off as an Alpha Chad badass wanting to make heads roll. He just seems softer than baby shit when it comes to that, but maybe that will change. Time will tell how it all unfolds but unless it turns out to be one of those 50-update or never-ending AVNs with either multiple story arcs or simply devolving into fuck scenes of the month with not much story left this probably has a good 10-15 updates before becoming stale like week-old gum like those. The renders are on the upper end of Daz, not grainy at all like many AVNs probably rendered on a modded smart toaster. One LI has a hairy kitty, a nice change for once in a sea of 99.9% bald ones that are all clones of each other. Dunno why Kayla is so ugly though compared to who's supposed her sister Annie (not just mostly opposite personalities). I know she's supposed to be a goth girl or something but they look nothing alike and it's not just the piercings, tattoos and makeup.
Oh yeah and where's the incest tag? Does just finger-banging your daughter with only plans to fuck later not count as incest anymore? Or is it my definition now where it only counts as incest if you get an immediate blood relative (mom/daughter/sister) pregnant and she decides not to abort it or doesn't miscarry?

v0.2 an improvement in all aspects from previous game better renders animations and women. the age up is very much welcomed.

the dev decided to add an actual plot to this one though it seems to be outta nowhere as a continuation from the first game.

needs: MC needs to grow a pair especially to meet the demands of the new "revenge" plot point he is still a simp pushover. There needs to be an orgasm doesn't have to be fancy but some sort of transition between sex act and post completion.

Okay So I decided to give 0.2 a shot. This is by far better than the initial release and is much more intriguing than I had initially expected. I reserve my final thoughts for future releases, but this instantly has my calling this an easy 3.5/5. I really do hope the Dev has thought this title out and I'll continue to make edits in the future. I'll also keep my original statements up. Many of which I no longer agree with, but it should stay to show that I can have a bad take sometimes and any project can change my mind. Looking forward to future updates. BTW still think Kayla is ugly as fuck. lol.

So far I'm not digging this new direction. After the terrible ending to Part 1 and the rocky start to Part 2 I think I'm out. I have no problem with aging up the characters. However, that could have been easily done by literally showing a black screen and stating "insert number years later." Nah, the part I have a problem with is the quite literally the out of nowhere conspiracy against the protagonist with no indication prior and the absurdity that follows within seconds of each other. Aside from that there's the fact that all the old good characters are gone or haven't appeared yet. The new "love" interest is ugly as sin and Sara, the person the title is literally named after, isn't even in the story (as of yet). The truth is seems more likely that the dev got scared about the demonetization taking place all over the place for loli characters and/or his country's laws now include him as a potential criminal so he had to wrap up the story as quickly as possible. But that would mean starting something new and leaving supporters hanging, wondering "now what" and the dev needed to string them along by giving them hope that the story was continuing instead of just starting something new.

This is all just speculation, so big grain of salt mind you. But I gave this 3/5 stars because of part 1 (prior to the end) which was actually pretty damn good. Part 2 ... well this seems more like a lesson in how to nose dive a VN as quickly as possible in my opinion. Part 2 gets a 1/5 stars from me at this point and I really have no desire finish this. But who knows, maybe I'll get proven wrong, and this will turn into a truly compelling story. I will give this another try in about 8-12 months to see where the story has gone. If it's better I'll gladly update my review to reflect that.

As of right now, if the dev wants to fix this they're gonna have to focus on the details. Explain who the antagonist is and why Sara wouldn't ask what the hell is going on and constantly be looking for the MC. The MC's story of survival needs to be a thing. That absolutely needs to be explained. How the hell did this guy survive what can only be described as complete bullsh*t. Finally, the dev needs to pretty up the main model ... a lot. If Sara isn't going to be in this for a while, reader need something to retain their interest and that ain't it.

All that aside, I sincerely hope for the dev's success and a gain in readership. Leave a review of the VN and let the dev know what you like and what you don't. Try to get some constructive feedback. And if you enjoyed this VN try to show the Dev any support you can.

The best game I have ever played! Graphically it's amazing, and the animations are very fluid. The story for the moment caught me, for its air of mystery. For the moment my stars are 5, and I hope DEV continues along this line. Impatient to see how it continues. In short, amazing.

Story is a mess and the character its named after isn't even present. Supposed to be a sequel but it seems like it might as well be completely unrelated for all the shifts that are likely to happen.

New love interest is unattractive and old ones are missing. All characters are getting shifted up an age bracket.

So far already the story is so much better than Oh Daddy. the characters are likeable and the renders are really well done. can't wait for more but i hope we are not waiting to the final chapter to find Sara, would be great to find her asap and concentrate on rebuilding the relationship

Story could become good or bad for that matter, theres really just to little content to tell right now.

But for what is there it does tell you that it wont be a choice driven game, but just yet another mindless fuckfest game where girls will just trow them selfs on MC.

Right from the start story takes a turn to the shitty side, MC gets invited by hes nurse/doc to stay in her house while he gets better and thats where you meet her sister which is a 100% pure whore, showing her tits the very second she sees MC and the very first night she comes to MCs bed to fuck him, where MC comes up with some bullshit about it being so long that he just cant say no but would have in the past? makes no sense and it feels quite idiotic that he repays the nurse kindness by fucking her sister?

So yeah story as of now feels a bit to brainless and there wont be any relationship build up or getting to know anyone, so you can forget about feeling anything for a LI and think of it as a pure kinetic novel with the single goal of fucking everyone.

Granted there arent much content but even so it still manage to force a girl/whore on you without giving the player any kind of choices, so for now its just kinetic.

It's excellent, I didn't play the previous one and I'm downloading it, I'm very curious to know how the mc got to that point, by the way, I also want to know where sarah is, the truth is very good and I hope to continue seeing how the game develops.

Incredible renderings, the story is much better than the first part, and the designs as always , of great quality.
I hope to see where the story goes, for the moment it's a 10 for me.
I want to see what happens with Sara.
Including new mechanics seemed to me a success.
So I hope the Dev doesn't disappoint.

I tried and failed to like part 1 and seems like the same goes again. The first part was weak in terms of rhythm and clueless in terms of writing, a lot of things didn't make sense and the game seemed like it only worked to have the function of making any girl out of nowhere want to jump on the protagonist's lap and have sex. And part two started the same way. Every girl may have her own style and different tastes, but whenever they come face to face with the protagonist, they become Sarah. That is, they appear to be the same. I don't think the developers learned from the errors of the first game. Render and animations are good.

Great start to a sequel that many on this site would probably appreciate. I am already interested in seeing what happens next and what we have already is a treat. There is a lot of potential for expansion and character development. This should be at least as much fun as the first one.
