I am sure this update is a tease too but let's see. Also I hate to see game developers bending over backwards at the slighest push. Just leave the choice to player at the start of the game, "who is Sarah to you?" when player entered "Auntie" just continue as you were, they didn't? Just slap that landlady BS on them. Easy fix, NOONE would have the grounds to do anything to you since player is choosing the experience. DONE. That's how you beat those cunts who like to play dictator.

There's a softlock you can get yourself into. If you go to the gym again, and (it bugs like it did for me, where I can't talk to the clerk), you won't be able to talk to Lucy in the morning after the party, since she'll just ask if you're ready to go to the gym. (Which you can't as you need to talk about the party.)

And now you think you are safe? This is weaponized now and there's nothing to stop them from waking up one day and decide to ban all adult games, to their pleasure. Just take it off from itch and stick to SS rather than giving up the main theme of your game... Or you know just keep focusing on all the side characters noone gives a damn about...

We will see how safe your game is on Itch, I'm just hoping that I'm wrong but I expect that in a few months from now, they will shift gears aganist the rest of adult games on these platforms. They had to start somewhere and they started with the "easy" part, they now saw it works and will certainly push it further.

Many users of this site including myself have supported projects and just because there are a handful of toxic people among the userbase doesn't mean there aren't many cases of valid criticism. You can see yourself out if you can't handle a few toxic users, welcome to internet.

I dont think the dev knows that Steam doesnt care in the first place on if its incest or not. Incest isnt the problem, its the fact that its a porn game in the first place. Tons of incest games exist on Steam that haven't got hit with the hammer, changing the name or relationship of the characters wont matter.

AceStudio Given the recent BS involving valve, itch and payment processors, I understand why you had to change the title and probably the game itself.
But I was wondering if you plan on having the incest theme still be available in some way like letting players choose relations at the beginning of the game, or an "unofficial" patch?

I haven't played the game in a while but it looked interesting when I tried it in earlier versions and was waiting for the game to have a decent amount of content before trying it again.
However if the incest theme is gone forever then I (and probably a lot of players) will not be interested anymore.

As for what you said in your last post (quoted below), you should just ignore the toxic people. Most often they are just a loud minority.
If you remove what is the main appeal for a lot of players, you will most likely lose a lot of the original target audience for your game.

I will add some context regarding the valve and itch situation because some people don't seem to understand what is going on with it.
Valve and itch don't have a problem with incest and other tags that have been purged (de-listed) from the platforms recently.
They where forced to do so because of payment processors (moistly visa, mastercard, paypal) threatening to withdraw their partnerships with them.
The proof that they don't have a problem with those themes, at least in the case of itch, is that they re-listed all the free to play games with those themes.
As for the future about all this, the best that could happen is some regulatory laws preventing payment processors to abuse their power. But in the meantime, the best we can hope for is that valve and itch can find other payment processors to use, so that can just say "fuck you" to visa, mastercard and paypal.

It’s not too difficult to do, from what I hear.

If the game was made on renpy I would make a patch myself, but I don't know anything about Unity.

I mean, I've seen a few games where you can manually put in names and/or relations or, in the case of Breeders of the Nephelym, putting in a renamed file to allow stuff. It wouldn't be too hard to implement, would it?
