It has been "abandoned" ever since it's release, it's situation is clearly covered in the subscribestar page.

The subscribestar hasn't had any updates but the author mentioned development in their discord. Theyre working on this as a side project to their main project, On Edge.

Saw this coming a mile away. But this is what irks me the most. If you have to make a side project, then why not make a small manageable one? Why do you have to blue-ball us with the premise and then stop making it altogether? smh
Almost like making porn games isn't a job someone can have unless you're among the top 1% of the devs. Being on this site for years, I would still imagine this game getting an update eventually because it doesn't show all the symptoms of being an abandoned project, the dev is highly active. Obviously, there's no certain way to know. I have seen some of my favorite games marked abandoned and still be updated when the devs have time to finish the updates and I have also seen games with dev blogs every week suddenly being dropped (but very rarely without a notice).

Just because a F95 admin tags this as abandoned does not really mean it is...
And any F95 admin can just as easily revive the thread again and remove the abandoned tag as soon as the update do drop.
- Of cause I can't sit and promise anything for sure about if this game will get updated or not, but the developer is still posting news on discord about progress regularly.

Hello everyone.
I decided to reply to this thread since I was informed on discord that it got the tag "abandoned". I have no idea why, since I'm quite active but I thought I'd clear things up for anyone wondering.
The game is not abandoned. I repeat, the game is not abandoned.
We are still working on the next update. For people who are frustrated for the time it takes, here are a couple of reasons:
1. In the "before you subscribe" segment, located up at the top of the SubscribeStar page so that people don't miss it, it is stated that "I'm making this game to calm myself down, when I'm taking a break from coding On Edge. This means that there's no possible way of telling when I will be able to update." and that "But it's important to make it clear before you subscribe, that On Edge is my first priority.". If I'm honest, I am working on both games' code and transfer completed superclasses (that can be used anywhere) from one game to the other to speed up their development.
2. I have a day job. Meaning, I do this when I'm not working, in my spare time. I am quite happy to spend my spare time doing this, but you can imagine that "spare time" is limited.
3. I am still an inexperienced programmer/developer. I am still learning and learning takes time. Sometimes I might learn something new that will untie my hands, and I have been refining the code a lot. The subs and certain discord fans have already seen images and videos of the new code and its results.
4. We have decided with the artist that we will release a full corruption level as an update, and not single scenes. There will be a lot of content in the update I'm currently working on. Recently (this week) I got the last remaining art for this level.
I completely understand that some of you might be frustrated that the game is taking long to update. I am the first one to be frustrated about this, since I want to finish it and update it myself. But saying it's abandoned is spreading false information. Now I personally believe that after this bulk of work has been finished (code-wise) I will be able to move faster in the future, as most of the time was spent re-writing the code. If you want to test that, you can keep the current version and compare the JS files with the new version when it's out to see how much new code has been written.
Having said all this, thank you to all who keep believing in me despite the obstacles I am currently facing. I am doing my best to overcome them and I will overcome them in the end. And we will all be happy.
And Daiki will get everything.

Ppl prefer this game instead of on edge . U should focus on this one , like 80% of your work . Btw, I think is better make shorter updates every few months than one large per year . If u want to get alot of subscribers this is the way. Use twitter and spoil short scenes to keep the ppl in touch.

I love this game, and I hate waiting for any sex scenes. I know you don't like the idea of having blowjob scenes in Corruption 1, but I think it's something most expect to see after such a long wait. I hope this project succeeds. Thanks.
Nope I don't. I hope for a very long and detailed corruption/NTR process. And as far as I have experienced it most people like the early corruption stages (groping, harassment, struggle, etc.) more then the later stages. So I think it's great that Onedge takes his time in the earl corruption to flash it all out and squeeze the fruit to its fullest.
Thanks a lot for updating this thread on a personal note. I think that was a very good idea strategy-wise. Maybe from time to time (really not too often) you could do something like this and calm the waves by presenting one little spoiler for the f95zone community and leaving some key information on the process. Communication is key after all ...
Still as I am part of the discord group and long time fan and supporter of this game I never had any disbelieve. So it makes me happy to see the engagement of so many people for this game. After all people are only so whiny cause they love the game and wanna play it... always remember that

The tag will be lifted once a proper update is posted, don't worry. But I don't agree that saying the game is abandoned is misleading, you said it yourself on your subscribestar page that you would work on this game only when you felt like it, and it's be almost a year since the last update, In the end you can't blame people for taking you on your word. All the proof of life from discord that gets posted around here seem rather minor, so who's to know where the game really stands.

It's just a matter of perspective, nothing more nothing less.
- You think a blowjob would help the corruption/game in the right direction.
- The developer think a blowjob is much later in the progression of corruption, and will only kill the satisfation of the slow corruption done properly. Which is what Onedge want.
- If you want to ask him yourself, he's always on Discord and answers most questions quickly.
