Yes, some spicey pics in fact. Nothin in the next update, just showing that he made it so he can build a scene then swap in a different character depending on the situation, so he can build scenes faster.

I don't think anyone will ever be ready for this, but I was testing around some new images and I just loved what I saw so I thought let's give it.
This is not for the next update, lol, I was just testing it.
So this is what I meant about the code being modular now. To put Laura in, I only had to include certain differences et voila, we have Laura with everything Irene can do.
Not this either, but I'm just showing stuff that I have prepared for Irene, but it's this simple to put Laura in everything Irene can do.

Stop testing, that's what players are for, we'll test it and give you feedback, I don't understand why it's taking so long, even if you release this update, there will still be some bugs, so I don't know what you're worried about, it just takes too long,

The dev literally proved they aren't working on the update to be released soon. Maybe another year atp, "practicing" for the future but cant focus on the present. Why focus on someone who's not the MC?... And yet looks at the pics looks like this whole update is gonna be pointless corruption where we get nowhere. Good luck dev atp your gonna drop it if it keeps going like this. Another one that could be good but being wasted away.

What are you on about? He said he made that for the current update, but now he can use it for every update. Its a scene that he can drop any character into. Dev has asked his paying patrons if they wanted an incomplete update, but they chose meaty complete parts.
Everyone is just used to getting drip-fed crumbles with everything game.
I get people are mad it's been a while, thats valid, especially if you payed him. But your just makin shit up cause your mad.
Any rpg dev that can explain how is this not trivial ? As a dev it feels like an empty feature. I mean if your images are framed correctly, which im prety sure is a mandatory pre-requisite for rpgm, then what's demonstrated here is that he prefixed/or suffixed images properly so that when laura is beeing played, it display laura_kiss and when irene irene_kiss. I really don't get how this is a feature ?
For someone with software engineering background this would be really trivial.
Either he is new to programming or not really working much on it.

He has stated he is very new to programming, and working under rpg makers' limitations. He had issues with it lagging very badly.

Yeah, it is a bit weird. I thought this game was meant to be easier to develop as it was not going to have a ton of coding, like On Edge.

Yeah I know, it's silly to tease this stuff now, but I wanted to show that we *have* actually been working further and further into the game, despite the time-consuming nature of the re-coding.

Still alive, still working
Don't worry, everything is still progressing. To make up for lost time I commissioned the images that I'm gonna need for Corruption 2 (v0.3) and I'm gonna make an extra post for tiers 2 and 3 with spoilers of those.
I have been making scenes here and there, playtesting, also working my day job, also trying to socialize and connect with people (which is really fucking important after my burnout), and it's coming along nicely.
I wrote the first "sit on lap" scene (which is going to be an extension of the cooking activity) and I came up with a brilliant idea (if I may say so myself) of why Irene chooses to go ahead with it, sit on Daiki's lap, and watch porn on his computer with him.
It would be against the game's principles to have Irene be forced into it, so I'm really happy I found a way that Daiki isn't actually at fault for that lmao. Here's a teaser for that scene:
This was a HUGE thing that I had to work out, especially because it's so difficult to have Irene do sexual/provocative stuff with Daiki at this stage, since she's only beginning to realize that this whole situation arouses her. So it has to be subtle before she starts giving in.
I also didn't want to mess up the pacing or my writing and just do it fast and deliver it, despite losing many subs along the way (and understandably so). But I'm glad for the ones that stayed with me in my journey and I hope once I pick up the pace again, the ones that left will reconsider.
I doubt it will still be long to finish this, and I will be the happiest when I can deliver the update, as I'm waiting for your feedback / surprise / criticism enthusiastically.
Before I go, I want to say what we have decided with Yamkha for the next update:
1. First scenes with Laura. Laura isn't gonna be doing anything sexual just yet, but the tension will begin.
The first scene will be that Daiki will request to at least see Laura sometimes. The Circles feature I designed will help us immensely with this, since it will be added as a circle then. Therefore, Irene will be visiting Daiki with Laura, chat a bit with Daiki while he sees her, while Laura has no idea why her stepmother brought her along.
2. Laura requests.
So Irene will be able to ask Laura to do the stuff she's been doing. For starters, cooking and cleaning. The appropriate Circles will fill up as if Irene did those acts, and Irene will be able to do something else instead. My idea is that Irene will have to "bribe" Laura by buying her stuff.
While Laura is at it, though, you will be able to "peek" at her, and see an image of what's happening. I thought to have a set of 3 images, where if you watch the first image, then walk around a bit, then go back, you will see the second image, etc.
3. Irene handjobs and blowjobs.
Most likely titjobs too, but we'll see. For now, I have 2 blowjob images (with variations), one is under the counter at the bookstore, another one is a bit more generic (no idea where I'm going to use it).
I'll show everything in the next post with the teasers.
So yeah! It's all still progressing, nothing is "abandoned", even though it's taking a lot of time. But I believe that the end-result will justify it.
