I was told that Save a Soul is incredibly clunky beyond any comparison. That it feels like going through a road filled with potholes, unable to avoid any of them. The developer did a very poor job at creating a management game with a very bad text based interaction in which you “talk” with the girl and expect her to respond, but if you open the game files and go through the dialog options you will see that it is incredible limited, as if the developer wrote the code in one afternoon. Besides that terrible experience with the non existing dialog, it is said that the game is just overwhelmingly unpolished, with the graveyard gameplay being awfully superficial, where the player only roams pointlessly in a random map while trying to avoid death that don’t actually harm you much while you collect random gold. The money is used for some superficial and grindy mechanics that are a waste of time. Also, the experience points are editable for some reason, the player just clicks and drag how many points he wants and immediately abuses the system. It is an absolute mess of bad ideas glued together by a soulless developer that has zero experience with games in this genre. Or so I was told.
