Identify Save my sanity - trying to remember a game I played

I've been looking for days to find a game that I vaguely remember without any luck.

The problem is I dont remember a whole lot about it, I think it was a side-scroller, female protag, the main thing that sticks out to me is after being in a combat area I reached a desertish town that I could walk side ways across although not far into the town I died to some kind of injury or disease on my character and had to start over. Even though it sounds similar to Queens Legacy that isnt it.

Any ideas what this might be?
