Saving games to external HD

What do i need to send over to a external HD for the games to stay saved? I want to replace my laptop but dont want to lose everything so do i just paste over all my games to the external HD or do i copy and paste over the renpy folder thats hidden with all the saves?

Most Renpy games (I'm not sure about all games) save in their main game folder main_game_folder\game\saves as well as in the user profile %appdata%\renpy.
If the there is the game\saves folder in the game's folder you should be able to just copy the games to the external hdd.
Just in case though, backup the %appdata%\renpy as well.

yeah, most games i have kept on here instead of deleting so ill just put them all on there like that and also add the one in appdata for backup and also for the ones i deleted. Thanks
