VN - Ren'Py - Saving Paula [v0.0.32-xTz] [XTZ Adult Games]

Damn! This is what I was looking for! Great Writing, love the teasing, the slow build up (after a rocky start) and I love the characters. There's plot here! And its not the usual bullshit corruption power that allows the MC to fuck his aunt/mom/sister after a deal with the devil. No, this is actually good.
Don't care for the drama with the developer, I just find out about this game and it rocks! Great visuals, great progression, great subplot at the acting school. What can I say? It's great.

Keep going, Dev. Sure there's some consistency errors with the models and the environment but you can fix that. I'm into the story and I want more.

This one has a lot of promise, but right now there is very little content. They also use way too many pictures for what little is in the game and the scenes feel very slow because of it. Hope they will continue it

unfortunately few updates and not very consistent, I assume due to the graphic quality, the too many options available (which I appreciate but I think they are a lot of work to do) and above all the little support, ultimately I hope that the game continues and moves forward, I liked it a lot so I will try to support him as I can!

I must say i have been playing adult games for some time now and really this work in progress is just spectacular i can see a great outcome for this project of urs cant wait to see what you have up ur sleeve for you as the graphic designer and ur friend writing the story i give you a 10/10 for this game so far graphics and story line is just amazing

animations are really quick
also make the multiple choices worth it
need to adjust the ages
and make characters look more younger
and in starting there are so many relationships question remove it and ask whether they need incest patch or not and make the script accordingly

Saving Paula [v0.0.30o], I like the idea and the renders are pretty good. The issue I have is the updates are so small and take so long I forget what happened. I was a Patreon on this for awhile but like I said the wait and the small updates just were not worth it.

Short summary:


First, this isn’t a terrible game. But the raving reviews people leave for its “story” just shows how low of a bar AVNs had set for the realistic family corruption stories.


The idea of helping the milf get back in shape and revitalize her career gives options for slow methodical development, which is nice.


But right at the start she already isn’t shying away from exposing herself and doing sexually suggestive back and forth with the MC, who is her son. And right after she masturbates thinking about him.
Is that what the “realistic development” and good characters are these days? Realy?


Granted, it’s not the worst out there, but far from the 5 stars, other reviews would led you to believe.

Review of version 0.0.30o

Very promising so far. There are a lot of hints of things to come but I hope the story and scenes remain focused on the titular character. The models are all very good looking we finally have a realistic milf. The only one thing is that there are some discrepancies between character and set design between updates but hopefully that has now been sorted out. Very much looking forward to future updates from this game.

Animation: Very good, quality images here
Scripting: A few grammar mistakes but very good so far
Story: There seems to be a large build up of storylines and plots. It's still very early so hard to tell where this will go.

This game seems like alot of fun. However it is still very new and seems to be veering towards multiple/options paths which can really bog things down for a developer as a game progresses. Either way I look forward to seeing what they come up with.

Unlike many milf games, this game has a lot of potential considering the depth of all characters. Sex doesnt start right away. You see the emotions building up between the characters. The different choices really bring more variety. This is a game I will be trying after every updates. Unfortunately, it has a long way to go. All in all it is a great but a rare project these days.

Excelente mix of teasing, art and characters, continue on teasing and growing up paula's lust! the "sister" is a potencial too, not too fast cause you will running out of ideas, but not too slow! kkkkk introduce scenes of bath, voeyurism and you will succed!

This is showing a lot of promise. Decent renders, realistic characters. A good story developing with believable (mostly) dialogue. Facial expressions help support the situations and dialogue. Looking forward to seeing more. Nice work so far.

Some may find Paula's character too unattractive but I have a feeling this is a well thought out part of the story.

Wow this game is so good. Very exciting and tremendous characters and story. And no grinding parts.
Mom character is one of the best and most beautiful and sexy I've ever seen.

I think after this update I can make a desicion about rating. I have really enjoyed the game. I believe the relation between the mother and son is ideal for this kind of game, they not become lover in a minute and won't make us wait for decades it seems.

However, there is a great drawback: I have tried to check the dialogue options and there is no many branches. Even with this situation, update length and frequency are not very promising. I hope it get better with the supports and the game will deserve five star

It's tough to review this one. Real tough. Just about everything about this game hits my buttons. I like the milfs and honestly, for my tastes I like the simple story. Im playing to fap and relax I don't need complicated plots. I'm good.

I dont much care about the school plot though, the teacher is dressed like a dominatrix and the principle plot is just out there... that turned me off personally... it's just too in your face.

I wont judge my score on the updates though BUT I will round down my score because of it. The last one 0.30b I honestly saw like 1 minute of new stuff that didnt advance the game at all? I did look at the in game folder for new renders and all could see was 1 scene... Maybe my choices werent inline with the update? I don't know. But it did stop me from wanting to give actual $ for support... It's a shame. But I do get it, developing a game is not easy and takes ALOT of your free time.

So my final score based on everything would be a 3.5 but I have to round down on this one as I said. Average. Solid 3

So i'm guessing this will be another game that i'll never see completed from what the other reviews say which suuuuuuucks because this is a pretty unique game. I almost didn't play this and after doing so, i somewhat regret it because i now have to way or i'll never see this complete.

sorry i had to yell that because the tension between silvia, paula, and mc is amazing

first off nice renders...they look pretty damn good for the most part besides the orgasm faces. While i enjoy the interactions in the game so far, it tends to rely on the same a handful of renders to visualize a conversation. i enjoy the dialogue as well as find the gameplay interesting with you being able to pretty much control not only yourself but other characters as well. i truly need more of Silvia and Paula going at eachother because that last sunbathing scene was amazing.

main gripes are that the game isnt done yet and that some of the faces can be odd but besides that, pretty neato game.

At it’s core there’s a really intriguing concept in this game, the ability to actually shape and manipulate a love interest’s physical appearance and character. Unfortunately after 3 years progress has been stagnant, with each update essentially being a few minutes of content that barely moves the narrative forward. The central premise is out of reach and the scant choices offered are meaningless at this point. Pretty visuals and character design can’t really save this empty experience.

Solid female character with evident potential for corruption. Models and cg is nice and the cast is likeable. Hopefully the dev introduces some more male characters to interact with. School setting is also neat. Not a lot of content atm, but hopefully this is addressed over time. All in all, a promising fmc game.

Edit: Ok, didn't realise this game was at least 2 years into development. That is... troubling. I'll deduct 2 stars. I'll increase if progress increases.

This game has:
- decent graphics
- way more renders than necessary
- bad writing
- too many characters straight off the bat
- very little content
- tiny updates
- "abandonware" written all over it

The only thing setting this game apart from all the others is the idea of player's choice influencing the appearance of one of the characters. Interesting concept, perhaps even feasible in a game which focuses solely on that single character, which "Saving Paula" absolutely isn't. Moreover it takes several months to continue a single scene, without even finishing it in the same update - this project is doomed to fail.
I will eat a cactus if this game doesn't get abandoned.
