Note: the game is machine-translated using DeepL. I have done some proofreading but it is heavy on text (30.000 lines), so if anybody wants to help, they are most welcome.
Regarding the art, the devs will (soon?) commission artists. In fact, the game has been machine-translated specifically to make the game playable for English speakers in the hope that it will attract more support on Patreon, which in turn can be used on artist commissions, because it's tough for Russians to pay artists in $$ with the current exchange rate.

How do you even raise stats in this game. What the hell is Erudition?
Some menus are still in Russian, even after the patch. Makes it impossible to know why things are locked.

You can fix it by editing a missing "o" to the English version of the variable. just search the file for money_joob from the file given.

This game has nothing original to it. There are several projects that are far more advanced driven by their fans and or by devs that actually care for their game, not for the money. One perfect example that comes to mind is HHS+ (devs gave up on it a long time ago but the force is strong in the community).
Most (if not all) of the images and the idea are "borrowed" from other games. This dev tries to go for the complexity of other games in renpy. I have no idea if renpy will be able to handle such an ambitious project (and all the variables) but I have a bad feeling about it.
The grinding is to be expected. It would seem that Russians are a bit masochistic about it. That and adding characters with their story and commissioning artists to get the graphics will make this an even longer wait than Innocent Witches from Sad Crab. As they already stated they do not have the $$. Even Sad Crab will be able to move at a more alert pace than this sickly sprout.
Hoping to get a project slapped together with a few "borrowed" images and a lot of duct tape to attract patrons... Not giving it a lot of chances.
It's a good idea, but it's not a new idea, and, as I said, there are other projects out there that are already years ahead.
I don't have high hopes for this one. Would love to be proven wrong for once, but I think anyone that has enough time and a bit of patience to learn renpy can achieve the same product or better in about a week or two on my own, considering no rendering, drawing or at least posing using Illusion games studios is involved. And guess what, the world is in self-isolation, plenty of time to find new hobbies, while this Covid stuff blows over.
