VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Schooling [v0.8] [ICG hub]

Not a bad game with some creativity and good renders.
Story and plot is predictable and quite boring, while gameplay is very repetitive to complete certain tasks and see the scenes. Overall average game.

Well I was all set to dislike this game but to my surprise I liked it. I enjoyed the sex scenes, apart from the ones at night. The people in this game seem unable to operate a light switch, I mean who sits in the dark talking at home? and I've never fucked anyone with the lights off. The reason I grew to like this is the script is so bad it is really funny, plus your Teachers a slut and I love Teachers. Also the MC and some of his friends look like Thunderbirds puppets or some sorta Bratz boy band dolls., hilarious.

I remembered the game. I had it in my mind. Yeah, downloaded it in ver. 05 or so and had only one save. Wondered why.

The dialogues are really awful. Not a native english speaker myself but this is really really bad.

Everything imo is bad. The interface and UI is a mess. The story as well (the parts that I played so far) and doen't make sense.

A game with actual "gameplay" is welcomed by me but here it is just clicking random locations.

Don't want to write that much and here's why I gave 2 stars.

Renders are good and the characters haven't been overused in other games.

The dev. hasn't gave up yet. Maybe the next projects will be better and more mature.

Disclaimer, a while ago i started downloading and playing Ren'py and Unity games, simply based on their rating (everything above 3 Stars) and not based on whether i "think" they are good or not.

And so Schooling was also on the line, and oh boy oh boy was my gut feeling right .

I honestly dont understand how so many games get so many 5STARS WOOP GREAT GAME, HUUGE POTENTIAL reviews and this is no exception

The Renders : They are good, not the best out there but kinda Average in quality.

The English : Im no native English speaker myself, so take my judgement with a grain of salt. However, to judge the English in this game, you dont have to Study it. Its not the worst i've come across, but it makes the playoffs for sure.
In the beginning i really thought i wont mind that much, but the longer i played the more it became a problem.

The Girls : Well here i cant really be objective, cause you either like them or not, there is no real inbetween. I do like them but mainly because they are not one of the 50 Faces you see all over the place.

The Characters i.e whats behind the Pretty Face : Not much, like super weird nymphos that you know nothing about other than that they open their legs for you, describes it the best probably.

The Story : You go to School, you fuck around, the end. That sounds harsh but thats about it, sure you have to do some quests and talk to people to get your quests done and whatnot, but there is no real Story that somehow connects it all together.

Special mentions i.e the UI and the like : The UI is okish, for the most Part its good to handle, some buttons are in weird places but thats not game breaking. After opening the quest menu for the 5th time, you got it that the close button is on the bottom right instead of the top, but still weird.

TL : DR Another Game i dont really understand how it could end up with a rating above 3 Stars. Only download this if you can handle terrible Google Translate and can get over the fact that you play a dude that looks like a 12 year old.

The game is not good but it's not bad either. The english is kind of wonky but the decent renders save it. Also, this isn't like the other games where you have to grind $, lust and all that other bs so I guess that's a plus. There really isn't any story, it's just a bunch of milfs + some school girls and you fuck them after a quest or two. The one thing I find really tedious about this game is the fact that the majority of the time is spent going through the map.

I am amazed about this game.
It really was interesting to play this and wanna next updates.

This game is fantastic and deserves a higher rating. Usually, games that make you look for locations to start events, drive me insane. I end up deleting them right after I realize the mess I’ve just walked into. This game has enough navigation and it is not a challenge at all to find out where you are supposed to go. Every clickable building is highlighted. There is a quest menu telling you exactly who to talk to and where to talk to them. However it would be nice for the map option to always be clickable. I encountered 0 bugs doing a play through of this game.

Other than that, the renders are definitely above average. The story actually had me reading more than I usually do because I found the game interesting. Usually I skip dialogue all together if it is sub par. This will become a staple download that I will keep track of.

It is definitely worth the download.

I tried this game's first version, but didn't post a review then.
There barely was any content and what was there was very bare-bones, but the renders weren't bad, so I thought wait and try a later version, before you review or judge it.

Which I did. I loaded my save from the first version, where I had reached end of content.
From there it was relatively easy to trigger several new quests... but solving those quests? That's a whole different story.
After about an hour of stumbling around clicking almost everywhere to find a lot of places with no content at all, I gave up and dl'ed the walkthrough.

I followed the walkthrough step by step, but nothing new would trigger as it was supposed to in the WT.
First day, going to the location indicated in the WT, you get told the guy isn't here. Next day nothing new triggers in school, after school again the guy isn't there, if you forward the time it gets dark and you get told the door to the house is closed.

I tried for about another half an hour to trigger more stuff, but nothing was working as told in the walkthrough.
Mind you, it's bad already IF you have to use a walkthrough at all, but if that then even doesn't work out? WTF?!?!

Perhaps I could have gotten further, but the mindless clicking around, without any hint where you would find the continuation of the quests and the annoyingly user-unfriendly UI was too frustrating.
I might not be the biggest fan of sandbox/freeroam, but there are many of those games I play and enjoy, because they are done well.
This game basically does everything wrong you can do.
No working hint system, nothing on the map indicating where new stuff happens, grind, repetitious gameplay... and yes it is an early version, but there's nothing to do, especially if you can't find the right time and place to trigger further steps in the quests.

So read comments about people liking this game and then saw it had a 1 star review and thought wtf...
so I just spent about 1h 20 min finishing this update(with using skipping), the SECOND update only and it have several hand jobs and blowjobs already which is very rare in such very early game design.
Models are good, animation in sex scenes are decent, but i can see it being improved as this is such an early game.
I had no problem at all doing the "quests" they were very easy and logical to figure out how to do which is great as some games tries to make it tricky for the player, but this was pretty much "do this and then do this" etc
Some people hate this because of "Landlady" which is named "mom" if you look in the save game because she is not named mom.....incest patch will most likely come, people just need to relax.
I actually enjoyed this game much more than i expected i would, I expected it to be a 3/5, but it was a very positive that it was much better.
I cant wait for the next update and I hope the developer does not stop because of angry trolls.

Its the worst kind of free-roam. You have no hint or indicator where to go or find anything. The premise is stupid as fuck. You play a 12-15 year old guy how need to get drugs to get into the girls restroom, because another girls is standing in front of them. To get the drugs you have to find a guy who seems to be out of the school .. somewhere.
After the non-introduction to our MC the first scene is, that we see the teacher disappearing with a black student ... into the girls restrooms .. and just to follow them we have to do that stupid "quest".

This feels alot like a RPGM game done in renpy, just to keep all that stuff that sucks in RPGM games.

I cant tell anything more, bc after searching for that drug dude in the school (thats why I think he might be outside) I lost interest and deleted the game. And that means something ... I have currently over 500 GB porn games on my harddrive ^^

But with around 300 MB for a 0.3, that seems to be quite small and I dont think that there is a lot to see - maybe that is the reason for the painful free-roam crap.

The models and renders look solid - only just the MC and his friend look way to young.
