Search by Title is case-sensitive, should it be?

I just noticed that the Search by Title filter in "Latest Games & Updates" does a case-sensitive search: 0 matches for "rift" but 4 matches for "Rift". This strikes me as less than helpful - especially in contrast to the nice substring matching this filter also does.

Given that there are no real rules for the upper/lower case treatment of titles, I find a case-insensitive filter much more useful than a case-sensitive one. I do have a fuzzy memory of searches ignoring case earlier, so this might be a bug. On the other hand, as a dev guy, I do know that not ignoring case is oooh so much easier to do in the code...

It might be something on your end, it's working fine here using both lower and upper case.






Maybe check your setting in your profile? also did you maybe use one of the other filter options because you got 4 results and as you can see I got 8.

Today I'm getting 8 results for both "rift" and "Rift" - withough changing anything at my end.

Good. But weird.
