After being a lurker in this community for a while and played many awesome games here, I decided that I want to develop one myself!
I am not that amateur in that regard. I have about one decade and half of experience in programming, and also a good experience in project management. I also would like to believe that my ideas are not too crappy (more about that later). I also have some spare time since I work as a freelancer.
The problem is, that my art skills are so so... Specially, I know shit about 3d rendering, and I dont have the resources (computer and money for buying the 3d models) to do that. As you probably realized by now, porn games without visuals have a good chance of sucking in a not good way.
So, It came to my knowledge that there is a possibility of recruiting a team here. I want to know if someone here (or more than someone) want to join me in a project by providing the necessary 3d art skills and also creative inputs. So:
-I would be 100% responsible to program the game. Unless, of course, you also want to program for some reason.
-The other person (or persons) would be responsible to provide the necessary 3d skills. They would also responsible to provide the necessary 3d models. I am not so sure how expensive this can be.
-Creative input will be shared, following the theme to be discussed below. This implies that ideas will be discussed together.
-I would like to have my game free but, if the game grows, I am willing to open a Patreon and share the earnings equally among all the participants (while still keeping the game free, save some special bonuses). But really, I am starting this more for the creative thrill than for the money.
Theme: I want to focus my game on the premise of an underdog (unnactractive) pervert male MC that infiltrates a family with some girls (a hot milf and a teen is a must) and begins to slowly corrupt them not only using cleverness, but some immoral tactics. Yeah, may seem pretty standard here, but actually it is not because of the small, but important, details.
-"Unnactractive" because I find games with a chad thundercock MC in which the girls wants to fuck them with little to no effort mostly boring. I like the idea of actually having to put effort into corrupting the girls. I also believe that our player base will be closer to the "underdog" type than the alpha motherfuck type, so I feel this will helps our game to grow in popularity.
-"Slowly" because, as they say, the the journey is as important as the destination. Part of the fun of corruption games is, well, corruption. The girls becaming crazy slut, I believe, must be something that feels rewarding to the player.
-The MC should be willing to do immoral things to push further his agenda. This is because he is unnactractive and, perhaps more importantly, I want the girls to behave and resist as realistic as possible to his antics. So, it would be impossible to move the plot without the MC willing to use dirty tricks, as using drugs, alcohol, some mind controlling device, magic, and so on. This implies that the sexual and lewd acts in the game will not be consensual at all, because the girls will be under the effect of something or being tricked. Of course, this imorality has limits, no forced rape or something like that (at least not from the MC, although I would rather avoid this plot device unless it is very necessary).
I would also want to put a huge focus in Voyeur: so, there should have many scenes with the MC assaulting the girls at night without their knowledge, spying them in the shower/toilet, putting them under shameful situations without their knowldege and so on. A great deal of the game will be about that, until the corruption is high enough so the MC can actually fuck the girls. Remember, it must feel rewarding! Pregnancy and lesbian incest (mom with the girls) is also a must.
My concept of "attractive" is also, apparently, not the dominant one here. I want hot girls, but with realistic proportions (at least with the starting ones... if the game grows, I am not against going wild to capture all the tastes), realistic (imperfect) skins and so on. So, the older mom should have a hot body but not a perfect doll skin, giga breast and a gigantic butt.
There are surprisingly few games that fall in this category. Some references of games and what would our game differ from them:
Bad Bobby Saga: this is the closest game to my vision that I saw in this site. I believe this game is underrated, and a crude diamond. The MC is a creepy motherfucker (although I think that was a little bit unintentional) youngest son of a family with a hot mom and three daughters. The game is a slow corruption game (not only because the developer releases one update after every six months), in which the MC uses clever manipulation and immoral tactics to bring the girls to his dick. For instance, the MC uses things as alcohol and sleeping pills to have his fun, so it goes in the direction that I want. There is a healthy focus on voyeur (the MC uses many clever ways to spy at the girls, assaults them at night, and so on) and the MC puts them on embarassing situations. The girls also have realistic but hot proportions and behave more or less realistic to his antics. I would also highlight the mom (Anna): the hottest mom in any game in this site, in my opinion. It seems that her model is a bit standard, I found her in other games. So, having her as a milf of our game would be a huge plus for me.
What would I do differently: I would like my girls to go beyond in the realistic behaviour, which would, in turn, creates the necessity of the MC upping his dirty tactics even more. So, the mind controlling drugs/device/magic should be used more intensely here. I would also like to have more than one release every six months.
A Goblin's Tale: this is a new game, inspired on Peasant Quest, but that, in my opinion, is much more promising and hot. In that, you play as an ugly Goblin (duh) that infiltrates a family with a hot mom and two daughters and corrupt them using his cum, which, in the game, is hyper addictive to girls and makes them crazy. There are many hot and creative scenes of the goblin playing tricks on the girls to have his fun. Girls are hot, situations are creative. The game is still at his infancy, but will be huge, I think (and hope).
What would I do differently: corruption in this game is VERY fast, something that I do believe (and hope) will be fleshed out in the future. Furthermore, there is not much emphasis on voyeur.
Echoes of Lust: this is also a hot game. The MC is not a creppy motherfucker, but the girls are not instantly willing to jump at his cock. His magical/technological secret weapon is that he realized that time resets after every 24 hours, so he can try creative ways of harassment without fearing the consequences. In one hot scene, for instance, he fucks his hot drunk mom in the coach a few minutes before the point of time he knows the day will reset. Sadly, the direction the game is going right now, it seems that the game will become more and more vanilla (girls want to junp at MC cock).
What would I do differently: a lot of things, but the girls are hot and it has a creative manipulation device.
Four Elements Trainer: this game is based on Avatar, a cartoon that I never cared and I still do not care. The thing that I want to highlight here is the creative embarassing situations that the MC puts the girls (this guy has a very perverted mind) and also the fact that the MC is a huge dick. Not having a huge dick, but being an immoral jerkass, without crossing the border of tasteless and cruel. I would like my MC to be close to him.
What would I do differently: a lot of things.
Setting: I would like to have a medieval theme, only because I would like to have not only a porn game, but a decent (serviceable) RPG as well, with some interesting game mechanics. For many reasons, this is easiear to do in a medieval setting than a modern one. But I am open for discussions.
Engine: either RPG maker or Ren'py. I would strongly recommend the former because it is easier to make RPGs and I know it better. Never developed in Ren'py, but I know my way around Python, so it would be okay, I guess. Again, open for negotiations.
