I prefer the realistic look of renpy over RPGM games. Renpy remakes of RPGM games is also fine.

I prefer if the protagonist is a brunette, and I'm a big fan of lesbian content as well.

You do know that Ren'Py and RPGM are only game engines?
You can make a game in both engines using real porn, Daz, Illusion, hand drawn, ... image/renders. Most often the normal RGPM game use isometric view 2D for "game play" elements (like maps ...) that are build from sprites, yet you don't need to. Ren'Py usually don't have them as you don't walk around maps, but that is just what the big majority does with those game engines. You can change/extend/manipulate what you can do with game engines a lot.

Most people don't really have the skillset to do that stuff, it's why most RPGM games have terrible resolution and rely on mechanics that are straight out of the first pokemon games.

The low barrier to entry is why daz and renpy are so ubiquitous around here.
