Review of Seaside Mystery [v0.28.3] ...

... as a game:
* Decent story. You are new in the city and something is happening in the streets. Nothing too crazy.
* Good dialogs.
* There's NO music, some sounds and no voices.
* No crashes. Improvable performance.
... regarding its erotic side:
* Character design is really good. The girls are hot and all game is done in 3D, so you can look them from any angle or zoom. Regarding personality of the characters, the game dont explore this aspect too much. The main character just do shores and gift to the girls to eventually have sex with them.
* Scenes are awesome. Almost all of them are repeteable.
* Animations are good.
* There's almost 0 music, some sounds and moans but no voices.
* Has gallery mode.

A very good game which innovate with the 3d world, full controlable camera in sex scenes, the cumshots etc. Still has a lot to work to do, but it's in the right way.

Why not 5 star? Because as default, YOU CAN NOT SAVE OR LOAD YOUR GAME if you don't pay (become a patreon), so you need to crack the game. Because I'm reviwing the vanilla game, I give it only 4 stars, and I hope in the future KsT change it to give him the perfect score.

If you were a fan of KsT's previous game, The Twist, you will be a fan of this one, because it is an improvement in basically every way. The same familiar themes are here: younger protagonist (college aged in this game) sexing up hot milfs (and a few younger women) in a slice of life setting, well-paced slow burn progression with good enough writing, and tons of steamy well-posed scenes.

Everything is improved over The Twist. The visuals are improved, sex scenes now have sound effects for added immersion, there's a character editor, and the hint system actually works. It's obvious that a lot of effort was put into the fundamentals to make this an upgrade over the previous game, not just a continuation.

Just like the Twist, this game is going to be massive when it is done with 100+ hours of content. KsT is a prolific creator who churns out more content every 2 months than most devs do in six.

Both KsT titles stand out because of their unique graphics engine and the free camera interactivity during H-scenes.

That's not to say there aren't downsides. Yes, sometimes moving your character around the map is annoying (just like in The Twist), the grammar is sometimes hilariously bad, and there are bugs. Ultimately though these are minor inconveniences compared to what is here: an interactive 3D game with super hot lewd scenes.

Seaside Mystery by KST is a captivating and engaging game that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. As a fan of KST's previous game, TWIST, I had high expectations going into this new mystery adventure, and I was not disappointed.

I love it, the store seems stronger than The Twist, the models are rendered vere well, I love all the freedom of sex în this game, just like The Twist. I think trese two games are my favourites, the creator deserve many applauses. Great game, nice graphic, nice places.

Starts off with some potential but quickly becomes pretty boring. The pacing is slow, and the story drags, making it hard to stay interested. The characters don’t feel very deep, and the gameplay mostly consists of dull dialogue choices. The game does include some lewd scenes, but they don’t show up until way too late in the story. By the time they arrive, you’re probably too bored to care and they aren't good enough. Overall, feels like it’s trying to be something exciting, but it ends up just being a slow, underwhelming experience. If you’re hoping for a good story or quick fap, you will be disappointed.

I must admit that at first this project did not appeal to me because of the character management, and I played the first version of the game.

However, The Twist was completed, and the story and possibilities of this game exceeded my wildest expectations. It is known that the controls in the previous game were not perfect, but the gameplay was smooth thanks to them.

The story in The Twist was simple but carried a great deal of content thanks to it.

Seaside Mystery is (let's call it straight) a continuation of the previous game, but it is not a story about the characters from the previous game. Here we have returning characters and a lot of dialogues - right on time, plus a lot of new very interesting characters.

I really like how the author manages to balance gameplay and sex scenes.
The controls aren't perfect, but they give the author a great deal of freedom to add content centered on multiple points.
Graphically, it's great, and I hope the author completes this work within two years, because the next time I'll reach for it only after the project is finished.

It is worth supporting this developer!

Basically a graphic/tech update from the previous games

Game design, storytelling, dialogue writing don't show much improvement (they ain't bad, but average, hence my rating).

The H-scenes are good, above average considering we can position the camera. They also have moaning sounds that are good.

MC is still inconsistent, sometimes brave, sometimes a weakling. Smart and stupid, etc... you get the meaning. You don't really get to role-play. Few choices and not even close to giving you the chance to "build" your MC. But I don't think they promised that, so ok. Just pointing out that this is lacking here.

The story is very bland and suffers the most from the game design. You do get some pieces from a main story here and there, but it is too spaced and does not seem too relevant. (also looking too much like the older game reimagined)

All characters are OK/Good. I can't think of anyone that stands out in any bad manner. Some reused characters, once again

The writing has some spelling errors that, even as a non-native English speaker, stood out. Not engrish though.
There were a bit of good writing in the beginning, but as the game progressed it felt like it started declining in quality. Lacking realism, "taste", etc... As the heat increased, the game somehow started getting less enjoyable...

The game design makes the game longer than it should, and that's where most of the problems would arise, I'd say.
First, now we have a decent enough walkthrough.
Sadly, the free roam/sandbox side of it doesn't really exist, since you unlock interactions in a specific order. You can't focus on a character, etc.
We do get repeatable scenes, which is a major plus for me.

I didn't really like moving only with the mouse, didn't feel "natural".
Sometimes the 'hitboxes' for interactions were waaay off the characters, doors, etc…, which leaves a clunky feeling.

All in all, it is a decent game and I believe it could be worth giving it a chance.

Ps: I don't know if recent versions have working cracks. The game requires patreon verification to enable saving/loading. Yeah, it sucks. I played until first BJs and then decided to buy the first tier to see what would be all the content.

A great game. Quite enjoyed the story and interacting with the women. There was not a rush to jump to sex and that felt different to other games.

The Milfs are hot, would like a differences between the huge tits etc, different figures could be good.

Good game, the beginning is very difficult, but then the game opens up.
Liked: Great story, character customization, locations, interesting characters.
Disliked: sometimes not very correct description of the walkthrough, very long introduction, optimization problems, wasd controls would be much better

I'll explain more but to make my point simply, for a game that locks content, is a pain to play and honestly is average at best, I expect more.
The game is one of the worst games to play in terms of how it controls and from save files posted her the sex scenes aren't that hot either.

its an awesome game with very nice graphical works and overall playing experience but trouble begins with its 2 month update interval with not many scenes and the story pace is quite sluggish . Currently character customization is quite limited with character story development being annoyingly slow . I still love the game and i love the fact the KST is serious ,punctual and dedicated to his work. All said, the game is one of the best their is but as a player slow pace of the content and story is what i hate .

As of v 26.1 this game shows enormous potential along the lines of the previous game by the same creator.
It suffers from a fairly streamlined experience, but comparatively few bugs compared to the amount of gameplay.
The build up is slow, and requires some patience, but like the previous title, Seaside opens up to more and more interesting encounters, albeit with very little choice for now.
With that out of the way, if you like the unity engine as a platform, if you like being able to customize all your LIs (with progress unlocking more options), if you want to dive into a story with an actual arch, then this is a game for you.

It feels harsh to give a game like this 3 stars, but its an incredibly long and grindy game that calls itself a sandbox/freeroam when you can't really do any of that because if you dont do events in a exact certain order the game doesnt progress at all. Similar to the the dev's previous game "The Twist" except this time instead of using an external walkthrough you get to use one built into the game ... yay...


The sex scenes are good and I enjoy most of the characters but the grind for some of these characters is absurd, it makes sense that Brenda and Emily have a long build up but for the others ones (especially Janice) its just annoying and tedious to progress their story because every time you think you're finally going to fuck them they actually just give you a handjob instead. And keep in mind you HAVE to progress these annoying blueball scenarios to progress every other character so everything just feels like a waste of time.

Certain events are hard to get due to what the characters do at the location are random and some days you just spend the entire day skipping waiting for a character to be doing a certain activity and then they just never end up doing it. (Brenda in the bathtub took me ages to finally get).

The actual story is just a bit boring and forgetful, when you do get a sex scene its usually good, but I am not even sure how many hours I put into this game but after what felt like 7 probably even more hours I finally get the first sex scene, I kept playing and you can only sleep with 2 of the girls in the game so far... keep in mind this game has been out for years at this point.

I'd just recommend to skip this game for now and just wait till its completed or nearly complete, which will be in a couple years. If you do play it you'll probably enjoy the content thats there but will be left annoyed and frustrated by the end of it.

First of all, let me say that I love this kind of game.
For anyone who likes sandbox games, this is a great game.
It's especially interesting to move and explore the main character in real time.
Most adult games are played on a single, stationary screen, but this game is a real adventure.

However, there are still a few things that bother me.
1. First of all, it's an open map game, but the visibility is not ideal.
Typically, games of this type have a button that aligns your view to the front. This game also needs such a button.
2. You should also make the dialog opaque or resize the text to make it more readable.
The game has a lot of bright backgrounds, which makes it hard to read the dialog, and this should be fixed.
3. I'm not going to talk about optimization, because many people have already pointed that out.
But I would like to emphasize this point. When changing from ultra quality to medium quality, the quality of the background decreases, which is natural.
The background doesn't really matter. It doesn't matter if they're very low quality.
However, it's a big downside when the character quality goes down along with it. The borders of the hair or the ends of the clothes are poorly represented.
So I would like to suggest that you can adjust the options a bit more so that you can lower the background quality but keep the character quality high.
This is because the game is poorly optimized, and playing it at Ultra Quality will cause a lot of issues.

The game is very nice compared to The twist, better animations, better graphics and better written tasks. Still not much content, but the game is being developed. Game worth attention and recommendation.

I don't normally review games but you gotta give credit where credit it's due. This is the second game of this dev and I've played the first one "The Twist" and let me tell you it was rough. The game was basically impossible to play without a guide with poor game design and with things barely explained, and I went into this game expecting the same, I followed the guide until the guide was finished but because the guide never covered the following updates I was left into playing without it so I expected the worst, but no everything was nicely explained and easy to get so it already shows improvements from the last game. Graphically speaking the game deserves 5 stars, I mean the game didn't need to have those nice waves and water at the beach but hey I'm not complaining and again it shows another improvement from the last game, the physics and animations are also really well done. Character customization is also very well done with nice options and clothes to choose and I hope we get even more in the future. The characters are also really well designed. Overall I'm really satisfied and happy from what I experienced, definitely a nice surprise and I wish a bright future for the game and hope the dev can bring even more good things to the game, I'm not giving it 5 stars because it's not finished yet and still can improve a lot but it's a solid 4 star game.

I so badly wanted to like this game. Character customization is great and the ability to control the camera is also really nice. Other than that, this game is a masterclass in wasting your time and money. Most events end with item checks or stat checks you're SUPPOSED to fail. meaning you'll do most events 2-3 times just to complete it. Everything needs to be done in a particular order. half the battle is figuring out what you need to do first. YOU NEED TO BE A PAID PATRON TO EITHER SAVE OR LOAD. i didnt know that so i lost 5 hours of progress. This is my first ever review and i am fuming.
