VN - Unity - Completed - Seasons of Loss [v1.031] [NTRMAN]

This is a fun game with good art. If you are familiar with past games with NTRMAN then you know what to expect here. The art is nice and I have enjoyed the scenes. The story is typical porn logic. Not very realistic. The game has had two updates to it. The mother and childhood friend routes. I think a lot of people are shitting on the game for a lack of content. Which I have to admit is a bit short. Having only two updates there is what I would expect for the amount of time worked on. I do hope he adds more to the current routes somewhere along the development process

Its NTRMAN all over again what you expect? Excellent art and sound design, the stories seems to get better i guess (dont read them too much) but the really catch for me in his recent works is you are not a loser who will just lay down and see your girlfriend/lover with another guy, you can choose to let things happen or just step in and get/keep the girl this is true for the winter episode and the autum hint to that (you cant choose the second option right now) and i like it you can play for NTR or just a tale of braverty against cuckers.

I would easily give this game a solid four out of star rating. My reasoning stems down to simply; you get what you expect out of a game with anNTR genre much like previous works.

Animation, Voice, and Art are all just top notch. Its not even the finished product yet.

It is unfair to compare this game to Adelaide Inn as I consider it the gold standard of the series and not the benchmark in which to judge this.

Story is most certainly basic in the sense of the NTR genre, but Seasons of Loss is still very much charged and thick with eroticism.

In my opinion his works most certainly improved with every game released and it is too soon to judge the final product of how the game will be. This one just further strengthens his repertoire, but is also another fine addition to his list of games.

Definitely looking forward to seeing this completed in the near future.

Story is mediocre ntr story that you will see everywhere in Japanese ntr game. To me, story in hentai games doesn't really matter because most of the time they make no sense. The art and animation is top notch however. I came here for the art and got what I deserve.

my dude it the art is chef kiss the only i don't like the stories writhing but most the thing is cool but i hope he make a science genre and or zombie genre the them making is like modern half of time is either going vacation or husband is asking wife to cuckold him.

Been a fan since Adelaide, this by comparison has poor writing. Not sure what happened to the writer but the scenario/plot has left me unsatisfied. It isn't just that it's short it's that the characters are unremarkable. I don't feel interested in them at all. Also not a fan of the extra fat on the women, I get being thick but come on. The winter update is better than the autumn, but that's not saying much. Hopefully the rest turns out better.

Update to my original review now that we have the 1.0 version. A few years later and the issues only got worse. The plot/scenario are lazier than ever, the pacing is rushed, and the art/animation is more sparse despite having LONGER periods between releases. It's clear to me the creator has lost his passion for making games and imo should consider a new profession.

If you are here for a quick wank, this one is for you. But if you are here for a good NTR story then be prepared to be disappointed.

After finishing the latest update, Tsugumi episode, I have to say I was overwhelmingly underwhelmed. I had hoped that NTRMAN would fix on the pacing issue Azusa's episode had with this new update. Unfortunately, it did not.

Everything just happens in a blink of an eye. I don't think it can really be called an NTR at this point. Five minutes into the game and the girl is all into the bull. She has already forgotten about the MC. It doesn't really let the reader/player digest what is really happening and just shoves everything at you all at once and you basically have this.

The art, animation and voice over really carries this series from start to finish.

Animation + Voice acting is peak. not too many choices, but enough to avoid NTR. Ofc for those that don't like ntr, avoid this like the plague. But for those who do, this is a pretty good wank. With only 2 seasons so far, there are still pretty good content.

The poor ratings of this game was somewhat justified due to the shortness and story telling of the the first season of the game. However, now that the game has its second season, it is vastly better. NTRman has greatly improved the art with the 0.7 update. The game currently (0.7), is worth the time and effort. The story telling is not as good but definitely somewhat better that the first season.

In summary: Art - 5/5, Story - 2/5, Seasons - 2/4

Well this is top quality japanese style NTR game and i can't help but give 5 star to this masterpiece.
The rating is literally undervoted and does not deserve any criticism.

The story is normal for this kind of genre and I don't see anything wrong with that. Again NORMAL because it's a japanese NTR!

Realistic? Forced?
At first I wanted to write that why porn fiction should be realistic.
BUT the female character is kind and silly, easy to manipulate and eager to the man..
What is the problem that she fell into the arms of the first person who decided to confess to her and was persistent? In my experience, I know not an one or even two such cases, on both sides of genders.

The author has tried very hard to fit this in a short story. And he did well on 100%.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not a fan of many hour-long novels.

You have to come into NTRMAN games knowing that the game length is going to be short to fully enjoy them.

The quality is 10/10.

The story is 10/10 (when you know the time limitation and expect it from the start).

BTW: it's crazy that people tries to compare this game to Adelaide Inn, they're two really different games with REALLY different SCOPES and audience. (Adelaide Inn is more focused on NETORASE, this game is focused on NTR right now and its scope is short to mid length chapters).

The animations are the best on any porn game, thats for sure, there is no room for debate.

I'd recommend it to anyone that likes NTR and doesn't want a lengthy game, you can't ask for more quality than this.

I'm not going to go into spoilers but it seems like NTRMAN is connecting his stories and that makes them a lot more interesting.

What can I say? I really like NTRMAN's works but this really didn't stick with me, along with his previous one with the camping story and Rural Homecoming 2. If someone told me Rural Homecoming 1 and Adelaide Inn 2 was the newer works of his I'd believe it.
It's possible I got desentisized from too much NTR exposure, or I only like a certain type of NTR.
Pros:
-Good art
-Voice acted
Cons:
-Story felt too rushed
-Corruption felt too sudden (I know it's not supposed to be a slow progress, but compared to his previous works, he nails the perfect amount of tease)

I'd say he should stick to the old formula, but I feel everyone would get real tired of those real quick, but that's the beauty of NTR, it all ends with them getting fucked.

Conclusion:
I really didn't like the game progression. If you didn't like this game like I did, try Rural Homecoming 1 or The Queen, those are some of his best works IMHO.

I've never finished a VN and felt this bad for MC . He basically got fucked by his bully and disowned by his mom . what the fuck .

Story's pacing was so bad , like she's got really angry that you're being bullied by someone , she met him , instantly felt bad that he's an orphan , bring him home , cook for him , let him stay for the night , and let him fuck her at night . Top tier development right there .

TL;DR: Download for the sex scenes and skip through everything else. It's not even remotely worth reading through otherwise. Better yet, just go on exhentai and find some NTR on there, this is barely worth anybody's time.

Edit for the winter season update: More of the same shit mostly. Just swap Mom for Childhood friend and there you go. It's insane how fast their entire personalities change, honestly. This isn't how real people act. I'll give props for having a pretty vanilla and wholesome route with the childhood friend but the first season is just straight up NTR, and it has to happen if you want this route. Just seems like a waste of effort honestly.

I'm usually pretty critical of NTR plots(because god fucking damn they're basically all the same thing) but this "game" seriously makes almost any other NTR plot look like Shakespearean in comparison. I put game in quotes because this is basically just a kinetic novel. There aren't any real choices, and there's no gameplay, you just click your way through the story.

Now onto the story. This is going to be like 5 seconds long because there basically isn't any. Your mom invites your bully over to the house so she can try and talk things out with him. He coerces her into sex and midway through that one sex session, she is already asking him to knock her up. I repeat, your "mother" wants to get impregnated by your bully about 2 hours after meeting him.

That is not what a mother does unless she is some cracked out addict living in the ghetto that only had you as a mistake. This woman is not that.
But that's basically what she becomes by the end of the content sooooo, maybe it fits? Who fucking knows. MC is as dense as a black hole(it's worse than most other NTR works) and for some reason interprets his mother moaning in her room while talking to him as her getting ready for bed. And when the MC actually does realize and call her the whore that she is, she throws a temper tantrum and MC pussies out from the conflict. Then she goes to live with the bully and act like you're not her son that she birthed and cared for for 15 years.

That's it. That's the whole story. She becomes addicted to sex with your bully on the first night and can never reject his advances. God NTR works seriously have the most contrived plots on the face of the planet, man. I really wish I could actually say more but that's literally all there is in terms of story. Seems like there's going to be some childhood friend content in some way or another but I'm sure it'll be just as half baked as the existing story.

I feel bad for the VA honestly. She absolutely fucking CARRIES the entire game on her shoulders. Does a fantastic job throughout and really elevates the experience. Her, and the art being actually pretty damn good are the only reasons this is getting more than 1 star.

Now before we go on, please keep in mind that I am not a fan of NTR nor a hater, I'm just a casual enjoyer once in a while. That being said, while I'm here mostly for the art, I am surprised to find myself turned off by the flat characters and how quickly everything goes downhill. I'm guessing if you're a big fan of NTR, especially a slow burn NTR/Corruption, you might be disappointed to find that this game doesn't have that. The only saving grace is the art.

The plot and characters are flat and do not really catch on. Too quickly the game descends into the casual porn. There's not enough branching for the characters. That the mother would flirt not only with teenagers but also with normal adult men.

Absolutely rushed. It isn't like it was established that she was disparate or frustrated. Yeah, she felt bad for him and whatever but she caved instantly. Could have at least given it some time. Seems to be a pattern in some of his titles. Like the one with the housewife and the uncle I believe-where there's practically no scenes with them shown until the end where the guy gets texted a bunch of scenes. Rushed.

A grown woman going from one night of sex with a boy to planning a future together is bit much. The pace of the VN was a bit weird with the writer almost in a hurry to move past the best parts of a Ntr story( slow corruption; dilemma of desiring the depravity despite the 'negative' consequences and the eventual fall from grace).

Leaving that aside, this is a competently produced work by a dev team which constantly churns out new stories. Voice work is hot, and the art is enticing. Definitely worth reading through.

Biggest Criticism: Bully fucks the MC's mom, it's a classic NTR story however in my opinion this game also falls into the single biggest trap of this type of NTR story, which is character development. How can you take a loving motherly like character and turn her into your Bully's plaything? Lover? Slut? It's possible to create a loving relationship or even a corruption Style relationship however it must be done properly with proper pacing. This author's style of games are always too short but it's the main reason why this story fails (in my opinion). I've read comics, books, and played games with this similar style of genre and this game fails in the same way that many others do as well. It just makes the corruption or love between mother and bully so unbelievable because of the poor pacing, lack of character development, and poor story decisions. A few quick examples would be the mom sleeping with the bully the very first day she meets him despite admitting that it's a betrayal of her son. No loving mother would do this, desire must be built between the bully and mother for her betrayal to make sense. Second, she accuses the son of being a wimp and having his mom fight his battles, yet SHE's the one that wanted to get involved. This (in my opinion) was a poor reason/character dialog by the mother. Why would she get involved and then blame the son?

Overall Conclusion: All in all, it's a NTRMAN game and if you played one then you played them all. It has similar length, similar images, and animations. It's a decent game but the two stars was for very poor story decisions.
