1.1.0.1 "An Evil Ending" Public Release
So I had a moment last night (technically It was two night ago and I discussed this with Sashka, but let's go with what I said so the story has more
panache) where I thought:
“Should we do two separate builds? Like, release 1.0.8.x with just the Halloween content and save 1.1.0.0 for the
big shift? And then maintain them both at once for a while...”
And then I remembered that I’m me (And Sashka... I mean Sashka is Sashka and I am me and shit, it has been a long night). And that means of course we’re not doing that.
My Team worked way too long on 1.1.0.x. Like, absurdly long. Entire gender crises have resolved themselves faster than some of these refactors (mostly mine, as it's still not resolved). It’s got new systems, massive rewrites, back-end improvements, a ton of polish [Warning:
exaggeration] - and yes,
also the Halloween event, because what is more on brand than delivering eldritch horniness and code structure in the same breath?
So… yeah. Expect 1.1.0.1 to be the next public release. Like now. No splitting timelines. No weird beta branches. Just one, glorious, slightly spooky monster of a build.
It’s the least I can do for a holiday about masks, transformations, and sexy costumes that defy god and nature.
You’ve all been so patient. Time to knock on the door and finally get some damn candy.
Even if the candy is… a dream sequence full of latex horrors and confusing feelings.
