VN - Ren'Py - Secrets in Focus [Chapter 3 - Day 5] [Studio BMK]

This is a genuinely solid visual novel with a lot going for it. The strongest part is definitely the writing: the humor is sharp and frequent, and the dialogue feels lively and true to each character. The banter between the cast is consistently entertaining, and there were plenty of lines that made me laugh out loud or at least crack a big smile. Every character has a distinct personality and voice, which makes spending time with them enjoyable even during the quieter moments.

The CGs are high quality overall – vibrant colors, great expressions, and excellent use of lighting and composition in most scenes. There are a handful of illustrations where the character edges have minor blending or artifacting issues, but it’s a small flaw that only stood out on close inspection and never ruined the impact of the art.

One thing that didn’t completely click for me personally was the sheer number of choices. There are so many dialogue and action options throughout that it sometimes slowed the pacing down more than I would have liked, even though most of them do influence routes and endings meaningfully.

In the end, it’s a very good visual novel with excellent comedy, likable characters, and beautiful artwork. If you enjoy funny, character-focused stories with plenty of player decisions, this one is absolutely worth your time.

What a surprisingly lovely game, with an MC that's likable, who can be as witty as you want him to be, and lovely cast of girls. Blair is obviously the peak of the mountain, but Ember seems to be the main LI, I enjoy that I've had a choice in almost every major decision.

I look forward to more updates!

I've only gotten to the end of chapter 2.
I like the story. Well-written story. Renders look great.
This VN has a lot of storytelling (NOVEL) but very little VISUAL changes.
Long conversations with no image changes. Lots of great written descriptions, but little visual correlation.
I've managed to get a sex scene with Indica. Literally 5 images. I'm not saying that's a small number, but with the enthusiasm conveyed in the text, a few more would enhance the immersion.
I'll give it a 4 until I finish the current update (Chapter 3 - Day 5)

An excellent start. . I'm a avid adult visual novel follower and I love this new entry. It has fresh characters and stunning graphics. The story is moving along well for a new game. I dislike games that drag the follower around forever with no end. The developer is very responsive to anyone who has advise and answers questions promptly . I look forward to each update that is forthcoming . Highly recommended .

The story is well-written; it's not a masterpiece, but it's coherent. There are no aliens or ghosts, and the characters are well-developed with their own opinions and backstories. It remains to be seen how it will unfold.

Writing is extremely good so far and most of the girls are hot. I’m very intrigued by certain character routes and how the story will unfold. There really aren’t many games where you find characters likeable after a very short time

Renders look great. I enjoyed the story and choices as well. Hopefully it keeps going in this direction, because I liked it. All the love interests are developing well. Which leaves the player with some good choices to make.

great game, so far. if you're looking for a game with meaningless, mindless sex, every time you turn around, you should probably look elsewhere. here, it's blended into the story far more naturally than most. the models look great. yes, it's ai generated, but that's hardly a negative, here. things and people look great(except that server room) and consistency in the images is a positive. the story is building well, and interesting. if i had 1 negative to mention, if you're not going to accept 1 of 2 possible choices, in a situation, don't put a choice up. i don't really appreciate being given a choice that isn't really a choice at all. if i can say no, then no should be accepted and the story should move on. other than that, the 2 parts have been great and i'm ready for more. just take your time and develop the game you want to develop. this is a fantastic start, though.

The girls are stunning, but Ember takes the crown, especially in the latest ep. Story is also interesting, am curious and looking forward to more.

Ember's lines during her long conversation with MC when they finally express their feelings for each other are beautiful and touching and completely authentic. You won't quickly find another VN with such exceptional writing.

This is an excellent example of a well-written story that is made possible by AI graphics. The author really gives us a realistic example of how a romantic relationship might start, with all of the emotional turmoil and doubt that go along with taking that plunge. Some of the best writing that's ever appeared here.

All of the characters are credible and distinct, and the mystery is interesting and not far-fetched. I look forward to seeing the romance and the mystery unfold.

5 * for a chapter 1 - the characters are good if you like the AI style, the dialogue isn't overbearing and it's witty/strict enough to go through without endless skipping that you have to in a lot of VNs. Excited to see how this'll progress and of all the AI slop stories this one is definitely on my watch list.

Old trope, but seriously funny shit man! The third wall and everything, love the (lack of) sense of humour, will be looking out for the updates!
