Really need a minimap. I lose many times just because I cannot find my heroines. Also, the directions and mission targets are really, really unclear.

Read the title, it's the trial, a demo, an incomplete version with the only purpose to donwload, try, and check if your PC is compatible and it's up to your taste to go and buy the full experience.
Back in the day, PC magazines included CD ROMs that had multiple trial version of games and other kind of software. As well as consoles, some games included demo disc which had bot trial version and even small DLCs to other games
A couple of questions(sorry if they were already answered, I tried searching).
With Materials investment, so far only Iron has had a 30% increase. Will it always be iron? Or will it change to a different material randomly? I haven't been handing in other materials because they don't have the bonus, and I don't know if I'm wasting my time waiting.
Are there multiple endings?
Is there a way to change the main characters name through editing or in the game itself?

The material with bonus change. Can't remember if it's between mission, after a certain quantity of when changing the base level.
You can hold up for later, but if you plan to frind for all the skill and do the NTR quest, you'll have way more than you need so you can throw everything ASAP (sure, that gonna cause some waste in point at some time).
No, there only 1 ending for the game. Each Heroine has her own "ending" (max affection - and another NTR ending if you turn on the option and do the NTR quest). But the hroine ending don't end the game, and they have no effect on the overall game or it's ending.
Changing the character name should be doable by edting the game, but you'll need to know how to do that or fing someone able and willing.
Don't think many peoples are ready to dig into such a game just for that ...
In case anyone wants to play this game in VR with UEVR, here's a guide on how to set it up. I've had a lot of trouble getting it to work.
When launching the game, you might see errors like:
Entry point D3D11On12CreateDevice not found in VirtualDesktop.LibOVRRT64_1.dll (in case you are using Virtual Desktop)
Or UEVR fails to inject.
This happens because OpenXR and 3DMigoto DLLs conflict with UEVR.
Short Solution:

1.
Go to your game folder:
\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\OpenXR
Either delete it or rename it to something like OpenXR_disabled.
2.
Go to your game folder:
SoD2\Binaries\Win64
Rename the file d3d11.dll to d3d11_3dmigoto.dll
or delete it.
Full Explanation:

Either delete it or rename it to something like OpenXR_disabled.
This stops the engine from loading OpenXR and Oculus runtime DLLs.

Step 2 – Remove or rename 3DMigoto’s d3d11.dll

Rename the file d3d11.dll to d3d11_3dmigoto.dll
or delete it.
This frees DirectX hooks so UEVR can inject correctly.
You can now enjoy Seed of the Dead 2 in VR with UEVR without crashes or beeps.
Additionally, exists a UEVR profile that allows the weapon to be 6DOF, although I haven't tested it yet.
