Heyo,

pretty straight forward. Browing some interesting sites, I came across plenty of games with this type of art style. However, most are visual novel or one-scene coded meaning, you can't switch positions or anything. I saw these types of videos a long time ago and was curious, is this a game? If so, is it where you can customize your own character etc? or is it just.. AI?

That SAO animation is probably made in Koikatu! There's the newer Sunshine, don't know which is better to play.
