whenever i try to launch the game I get a blank menu that will let me select and progress through the story but I cannot see any of the dialogue in the story I have used xp_rtp104e.exe to attempt to put what I believe are the required folders in there but I still end up with the same problem. if any help could be given that would be appreciated. link to download to show what it requires incase I used wrong thing

The proper game thread is here, Spin Around Sayla. But as the second thread says you need to install the XP RTP and use Japanese locale. Either switching to it, or (as I just tried) using

Without the RTP I don't think the game will work, but without the locale you can't see any text. I couldn't even see the main menu options.
