Skills:
  • Programming in Ren'Py - I have been working on python for several years and I know renpy well, but I cannot call myself an expert on this engine.
  • Programming in C#/Unity - I have developed 3 games on Unity and I know c# very well.
  • Programming in C++/Unreal - I've developed two games on Unreal and fixed several of them. I've worked on UDK (yes, I'm old!), UE4, and UE5.
  • Programming in TypeScript/C++/Cocos2dx/Cocos Creator - I've developed over 20 games on Cocos, so I know it pretty well.
  • Programming in Java/Android - I have been programming in Java for over 20 years and developed more than 50 apps/games on Android.
  • Programming/Scripting in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP - I have used Javascript and PHP in the past, I can use them but I would prefer not to have to.
  • Programming AI - My primary job at my workplace is building AI for video games—don't ask me to create programs that render images from text!
  • Programming Engines - If the project requires it, I can create frameworks or video game engines from scratch.

Preferred method of contact:
  • F95Zone- yes, here.
  • Discord-I have a Discord account but I am not that social...

Employment Type & Rates:
  • I'm on a full-time contract, so the time I can dedicate to extra projects is limited, but I make up for it with my over twenty years of experience in game development.
  • I'm available for Share Revenues, unpaid projects. I also accept paid projects, but I prefer Share, since my time is limited.

Availability:
  • Monday to Sunday– 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (GMT+2)

Work Samples:
  • I can provide any sample you like.

Additional comments:
  • Feel free to send messages or inquiries anytime, regardless of my stated availability. I usually respond as soon as I’m available.
  • I'm a 45-year-old programmer who loves this genre of games. I'm looking for a stimulating team and the opportunity to create fun gameplay.

Hello friend!

I have a long term 2D rpg/strategy Unity project that can be broken up into individual smaller games. I have all the art, SFX, music, dialog and a pretty solid idea of what mechanics to implement, but I need a more experienced programmer and 2d animator. I have resources ($ and time) to invest in this because I believe it to be a unique and potentially highly addictive blend of genres and styles.

Hey,

I’m trying to launch a NSFW Turn-based gacha RPG game in Horny Villa/Lust Goddess style, however MUCH less greedy and payment oriented. I have only game concept and gameplay design, however no developer.

My question then is- how much budget would we need to create a game in such style with all the mechanics and ability to integrate backend PlayFab, Firebase, or similar.

Preferred engine: Unity

This is a good question that deserves a very thorough answer.

The short answer is "how successful do you want to be?"
Keep in mind that the key to success isn't well-defined; sometimes an extremely well-crafted project with an extreme budget fails, while a project with a small budget makes a lot of money.

RPG games typically require a lot of work in terms of graphics, story, quests, animations, and even a lot of programming.
However, this last part is often the least expensive.
Thanks to object-oriented programming, it's easy to create generic classes that meet a variety of requirements, while a graphic designer is forced to design and animate them all anyway.
The size of the title should also be defined, meaning how many NPCs, how many character animations, how many locations, how many graphic objects, etc.
The cost of audio can be very low if you're happy with it, or very high if you want voice acting, depending on the type of voice acting or music created specifically for the occasion.
If you're aiming for a high-end game, you should also consider spending at least the same amount on advertising.

It's really difficult to give a correct answer without all the data.

Usually, games made on these sites start with very limited budgets (from what little I know), less than $5,000 (or euros).
But some teams have managed to get money from Patreon and other similar sites and have been able to invest in ambitious projects, knowing they'll have a steady stream of funds coming in.
This last point isn't a detail.

If you want to do the math, consider that I've worked on projects lasting over 12 months, with more than 10 people working full-time (to be precise, not all 10 were working full-time on the project at the same time, but it would be too complex to calculate each internship).
On this project, there were five graphic designers, including an art director, so let's say their salaries averaged $3,000 per month.
There were three programmers, two senior programmers and one junior, so let's say their average was $3,500 per month.
Finally, a sound engineer and a writer, let's say an average of $2,000 per month?
Total per month: 3,000*5 + 3,500*3 + 2,000*2 = $29,500, so let's say $30,000 monthly for a total of $360,000.
As mentioned, not all people were always working on the project at the same time, so we lower the figure to $300,000, but all this without taking into account advertising, which as mentioned costs at least the same amount as you spent on production.
Please note:
These prices are based on my knowledge of the members of my team, but they may vary based on the experience of each member.

As I said, it all depends on the quality and size of the project and the members of your team.
You can create beautiful projects almost for free if you have the right ideas and the right elements.

Sorry for the poem.

In any case, feel free to send me a private message with the details, and I can give you an idea of the costs you might incur if you plan to hire professionals.

You can always try to create a team, assuming you'll share the profits with them.
I prefer this type of contract here on F95 because I have little free time, and it would be unprofessional of me to accept payment without ensuring the projects are completed on time and to the required quality.

hello, I'm working on the story and art for a One Piece parody
visual novel that I'll be able to release in a few months, but it might still be in too early stages for you to be interested. I wouldn't lose anything by sending you a message, though,
I can also show you what I've done so far, of course, about art.

Great, that’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! I really appreciate you taking your time explaining everything, you made a lot of it make sense.
If you don’t mind, please send me a DM so I can introduce to you my game concept and desired layout of the game, as I don’t have enough amount of messages posted and the site is blocking me from sending DMs.
Thank you!

Sure no problem.

As I wrote before, I am currently busy with a new project but I can give it a look anyway.

I think I don't know very well how to respond and use the forum well yet, I don't usually interact that much, and speaking of the projects I wanted to show you a little of what I'm working on because in the future I think I'll make a post looking for help maybe as I advance more in art it coincides with the dates when you are a little more free, you can also tell me what you think of the idea and the art,

I'm sending you what it lets me send due to the size of the images. Also, if you have Discord and are a little interested, we could continue talking there.

Sure.
Here is my Discord:
Azaratur2756

I'm not that "social" so if I don't reply to you for days don't think it's because I'm rude, I almost never open Discord.

hello, have to admit i am bloody new here and looking for making a few nsfw interactive projects

problem is there is a mechanic that works on flash and i am very interested if there was a way to simulate the same again ^^
(i can send a video if flash is too risky modern days ,just really want to find someone i can "ask" with knowledge for a similar attempt in a modern way)

the flash game has a 2d looking 3d area/object (i guess) that seems to move with mouse movement in any directions the user chooses completely fluidly
allowing very interactive bouncing around and i really wonder if ther is a modern way to replicate this for a new project

I guess you can still create Flash games with Adobe Air, but honestly I never try that.

Hi yes, they are both my works, the one above is the banner for the game, and the one below is just an illustration of the patreon levels that I made, in the art theme I am working on the character sprites, the stage backgrounds and the introduction.
