HTML - Seven Sins [Ch. 2 v1.6] [Lianland]

In a world, where 95% of HTML real porn games are a bunch of simple links with two lines of text and a random video clip glued to them, this one shines. And when you take into consideration it's only been in development for a few months, it shines even brighter.

The premise is not only there (again, 95% of those doesn't even have that), but it's also interesting and makes you actually want to keep reading (unless you're a hardcore grammar nazi). The cast is great, media selection is solid, I can't wait to see where this project is heading to.

Oh, and the dev seems to be actively listening to feedback and making adequate corrections to the work's course with every update. You have a real gem in your hands my guy, don't waste it.

Combining both the potential for growth and current content (v 1.3), it's an easy 5*

Great Game. Similar to College Daze in some ways but more linear and easier to wrap you head around, but with comparable different ways to change the characters and excellent writing. Most games of this type are just clicking to get to videos of sex i couldve just watched, but this one really is great.

Disclosure: At the time of writing I have only played through the corruption route. I can't imagine that what I like and dislike about the game will be vastly different between routes so I'm not going to wait to review it.

This game is in dire need of a native English speaking editor.

That being said this game is a bit of a breath of fresh air. Too many html games and real porn games fall into the trap of either withholding sexual content for some retarded reason or being a glorified slideshow of gifs and webms. Seven Sins however does not scrimp on the "content" and there is more than enough meat between them to make things interesting.

The story is solidly written and interesting, syntax errors notwithstanding. If you can't quickly parse poorly translated sentences then you should probably wait for a better edited version, but if like me you have a lot of experience reading through machine-translated VNs you should be able to muscle through with few issues. Fair warning however, there is a lot, and I truly mean a lot, of text to read. I happen to like a lot of story and set-up in these games so I don't mind, but a single route is about the length of a moderate-length novella and by the time the game is finished I wouldn't be surprised if both main routes are the length of an epic poem from antiquity.

As for characters themselves it's somewhat of a mixed bag, which I'll chalk up to personal tastes. Lust, being the main character, gets the most dialogue and thankfully she is by far the most interesting. As for the rest of the cast it can be hit and miss. Some are quite interesting (for a porn game) while some I feel are redundant or otherwise unneeded. That said even the characters I don't necessarily like are usually not around long enough to bore me or are still just interesting enough to continue to hold my attention.

Now for complaints. The first is down to personal preference, but I feel like there are way too many characters. I understand this is a harem game, but I feel as though writing can start to suffer for side characters or in the worst case, the main plot and characters in favor of the side character stories. So far the dev has done a very good job of keeping everything balanced, but I do worry about future releases.
The second is obviously the syntax and spelling errors. I understand that the dev is not a native English speaker, but someone with a better understanding of English syntax could elevate this game even higher than it already is.
Third is somewhat minor but the MC will in "scenes" inexplicably become a black man, and then switch back to being white in the same scene. On occasion I've noticed multiple MC race swaps in the same scene. It's very disorienting and immersion breaking .

All that said, the game is very good. There are some very obvious improvements that should be made moving forward, but the groundwork is extremely solid and as long as the dev doesn't fumble the bag I see potential for an all time great game.

Right now it's an easy 8/10 with potential for a perfect 10/10.

This is a 0.1 release... with 732K word total. Some Choice of Games game don't even have that many word count.

But the game itself isn't bad at all. Sure, there are grammar mistakes here and there, but it's very readable and doesn't impact the experience at all. In a sense, I might actually prefer this over College Daze, but only because that game is crazy complicated. This one's a lot more linear, but as a result doesn't give you choice paralysis or story fatigue. I've been playing this for days at my own pace and words cannot describe how satisfying it is to click what looks like a final checkpoint, and finding that it is not.

I'm especially curious about the endings, because it looks like you can get a satisfying conclusion out of most of them. The game is mostly vanilla (relatively speaking), and the dark choices aren't even close to being as dark as say College Daze, but I'm pretty sure most pu- I mean people are fine with that.

Finally, I don't mind this being released once every few months at all. I like that I don't play like 30 minutes and then hit a final checkpoint, or being stalled by mini games that are ultimately meaningless. If I have to wait half a year or even a year so that the author can plop another 700k words, I'll happily wait for it. This 0.1 release is practically a full game and a half already.

The story premise is fun and enjoyable, but poorly written in so many ways. There are so many misused/missing words, weirdly written sentences, bad punctuation and just strange or incorrect phrases. The prologue was pretty well written overall, but after the prologue I was convinced that the writer isn't a native English speaker. Regardless a proof reader would go a long way to making this a great story.

As is, it's so jarring that I just ended up skipping most of the dialogue after the first day or two post prologue. Which is a shame considering how enjoyable the story is when I wasn't skipping past it.

I must say. WHAT. A. GAME. Great flow, wild and proper story-making. You sir are a star. I am really enjoying the protagonist's move into darker and darker paths - i hope you are planning on expanding it further and further. Overall a seriously enjoyable game with A LOT of content.

Amazing work of art! This is a true CYOA novel. Can not wait to see more. The story is good, the pacing is good. Great selection of videos and placement of them. Hope the next chapter is just as good.

Came for the porn, stayed for the plot. The funny moments actually made me laugh. The characters grow on you- especially Lust.

Only possible complaint I'd have is that the pathways are a bit too linear. I think there should be more ambiguity between Love or Corruption pathways- not that there isn't already some, but I'd like to see it be more impactful.

Best new HTML porn game in a long while! Writing is diverse, sex scenes fit the situations, and the chosen actresses are very hot. Lots of content for an early release, excited to see where this goes!

    Bro In The Game

The start is very promising, the story is engaging, just what I was looking for

There are 2 paths with many different variations making replayability quite diverse

Even though it's only 2 chapters, it makes me feel like I'm playing

College Daze with many different results depending on the choice

    Keep trying
