Hi, We're Pinkworx Interactive and were working on our first adult game, 'SFU Case Files: Velvetridge Manor'.
A Puzzle mystery with horror-like elements powered by Unreal Engine 5, using Daz3D for character creation.
It features a futa main character, female sidekick and more characters to come.

Status: Pre-Alpha
Engine: Unreal Engine 5.3
Content: Several NSFW scenes currently working (WIP), character controller, ai behaviour, camera movement, environment & assets nearly complete.
Current Focus: Puzzle mechanics, scene refinement, and core system integration
Next Milestone: First playable demo

Forum Developer Update:

Character Design(Futa Juno):

-We held a vote over on Patreon & Discord to decide wether we keep Juno (side character) as Female or make her Futa.
-Results were overwhelmingly in favour of a Futa Juno, but some also expressed the option to select either.
-Decision going forward; Futa Juno will be the default with the option to select Classic Juno (Futa) when you start a new game.
-Technical implementation won't be too much work, a lot of retargeting can be used as its only a few extra bones that will effect sex animations specifically. General AI behaviour and the NPC's animation blueprint can simply be re-used, no need to rebuild it from scratch.
-Huge thank you to everybody that took part!


Character Controller:

-Player movement.
-Player input.
-Player item interact.
-Since this is a puzzle, mystery, walking-sim, there is next to no action, so movement is going to feel weighted and deliberate. No traversal etc..
-Still a WIP...

Sex Scene Implementation:

-Player can trigger and exit intimate scenes.
-Easy to implement new characters into this system.
-Multiple camera views, easy on performance.
-Still a WIP...

Puzzle Mechanics:
Basic logic

-Player can enter and exit puzzle states.
-Clicking painting (LMB) rotates it anti-clockwise, Clicking painting (RMB) rotates is clockwise.
-Puzzles reset when you exit so you don't lock yourself into an unsolvable state.

Advanced logic

-Clicking each painting effects it's neighbour with varying degrees.
-Clicking each painting effects it's neighbour with different rotation directions (anti-CW/CW).
-Some puzzles use 90 degree rotations, some puzzles use 45 degree rotations, some use a combination of both.
-I'll probably add other puzzles with 5-6 paintings to ramp up the challenge even more.
-The system is quite modular so new puzzles with different objects and modified mechanics is the plan.
-These are generally quite challenging so in-game items with hints can be found throughout the level to help you.



Books, Magazines & Newspapers:
As the game is set in the haunted mansion of a print pornography tycoon (Stan Wankmore), there will be items scattered throughout the level.

-Pornographic magazines can be found around the mansion, these will include puzzle hints to aid with objectives, but some will also be purely for collectibles.

-Newspapers documenting some of the backstory to the games antagonist and setting.

-Books also containing puzzle hints, some of these will be purely for collectibles. They will include adult stories the player can stop to read if they choose. Something like the Elder Scrolls games.
-Those stains on the book are supposed to be what they look like.
