ShackBang - Did they finally rework the ending?

I found the thread for the original version of ShackBang and I reposed my question/comment there.

For those who played the original version of ShackBang you know that the ending was what many, including myself, feel is one of the top three WORST endings in AVN history. (and I do have an opinion on what the other two would be, but that's for another thread on another day)

I just noticed that here:

there's a download of it that claims it was updated 9/10/2024. They always promised to rework the ending (that's how bad it was) - so did they finally do that?

Also on a somewhat related note I cannot find the LONG ShackBang thread were F95 board posters, including myself, roasted the ending relentlessly for a time (that first ending deserved all of it).

Any thoughts and/or information?

To answer your question - no, and it doesn't look like it will. Inceton is currently making so many games at the same time that they don't intend to remake a game that sold poorly. Maybe in a few years, if I were you I would give up all hope. You can always go to their discord and bash them

Thanks for the reply. Currently I'd about three-quarters the wa through a re-play of what I downloaded that claimed it was updated on 9/10/2024. I almost thought I felt a minor difference or two, but its been more than a year since I played it so perhaps its just poor memory on my part. I'll finish it again and if it is indeed unchanged I'll bash them. Candidly, if I force the actual story line out of my consciousness .. then Ariana and Lexi do trip my trigger. Perhaps that raw attraction is why I've continued to occasionally check up on this title.
