In my opinion, the story has an interesting plot, funny at times, and very exciting. The characters have different personalities and concerns, which it isn't easy to achieve. Congratulations! All of this takes place in a context where everyone is looking for sex, of course, the main objective.

As for the situations, they are truly sexy and exciting, well done and explicit.

I really like the character’s aesthetics, especially Alice's; I find her extremely sexy. I also like her development and her interest in being more slutty, but faithful, whether due to her own ideas or the interests of others; I'm really looking forward to seeing her in all kinds of situations with different characters: GH, anal, DP, GB, partner swapping, etc. The evolution of the MC is great too, I like how is dragged to this new world like a real person, not too strong, not weak, not a pimp and not an idiot. Great!

In short, one of the best visual novels I've seen so far. I hope you'll continue to follow it for a long time.

- The story is not original or well-written, and lacks logic in a lot of points.
- The game lacks romance and any meaningful relationships.
- Characters are not really deep, original, or well-written; in fact, most of them feel almost the same, and everyone is so horny for no reason.
- MC yaps too much, seriously, the game is full of MC yapping about things he wants, things he is doing currently, things he is planning to do... It's like never-ending, and very boring to read.
- Your choices doesn't mean anything, you can't avoid stuff you don't want, and you are forced to play things the way implemented, in fact creators seems to decided add ''skip'' mechanic with chapter 7, yeah you heard it right, not avoid, just ''skip'' therefore everything will happen, you will just be able to ''skip'' it not to see.
- Art is not bad, but it's not good either, especially considering how generic it is, and almost every woman looks nearly the same. Not to forget, like almost all AI games, the proportions are not stable and change from time to time.

VERDICT
If you're gonna skip dialogues and let out some steam, go for it. If you are looking for something to read/play, stay away from it; it's not really worth it.

Hi, really well made game i enjoy it a lot, the history is very entertaining and the characters are funny and charismatic, this is clearly example of how porn games should be nice smooth animations and engaging stories.

In the blooming field of AI NTS games that have cropped up over the past years, few have featured such outstandingly polished art and uniquely engaging storytelling as Shadows of Ambition.

Early criticisms of SoA as a "clone" - while perhaps barely understandable at the time - ring completely hollow now, given the attention to detail and quality it has maintained since first release. The game stood out among its peers from the beginning through abnormally catchy character design, and built on it with solid writing that gives life and personality to its colorful cast.

Just look at the banner, and you can probably glean some basic traits from our (remarkably beautiful) roster. A domineering grin from Kate, a playful tease from Sophie, the chiseled physique of Andrea, and a sultry exhibition by the wonderful FMC Alice. This is thoughtful work, which carries on through the art, writing, structure, pacing, dialogue, and of course erotic content of the game.

After playing the first few chapters and then moving on to other things earlier this year, my mind was often drawn back to "that one game with the white haired, pink eyed girl." Communicating so much visual charm leaves an immediate and lasting impression, drawing the player into a light but thrilling adventure that is difficult to forget. I would argue that careful consideration of so many details is what separates a decent (or even good) game from a great one.

Ambition is the perfect word to have in the title, as SoA is certainly ambitious in its content, quality, and narrative depth. So far, this ambition has been delivered on exceptionally - and there's no reason to believe it won't just keep getting better from here.

Shadows of Ambition is one of the best AI CG games currently available, exploring the themes of NTS and swinging.

The art is well composed and maintains an extremely consistent style throughout, something that many other AI CG games fail to do. It's very clear how much the AI CGs are only a starting place and then heavy editing takes place to get them up to standard in photoshop. So far every update has contained a minimum of 3 sex scenes of varying lengths and increasing levels of intensity which is great.

The story has a fun level of camp that I actually really enjoy. It keeps the story light even when dealing with themes that more commonly go dark. I actually consider this one of the highlights of the game and I think it's at it's best when it leans into it a little.

My only complaint is that we haven't had enough Sara content yet...

-if you are netorase or ntr fan you gonna love this game
-if you are ntr/nts hater you better ignore this threat
-character designs are awesome
-story keeps getting better
-and Dev didn't fall to Trap of multi choice and branching

Brilliant game. NTS definitely isn't my cup of tea, but by golly, I couldn't stop once I started reading this. I'll be watching it for a while yet.

The plot is okay enough for the genre, with a likeable MC and a few great characters. Everyone comes across pretty horny and DTF, though the reason for this is explained somewhat in the story. The renders are easily the best part of the game. Though AI generated, the quality and consistency of the art and characters really shine through. This game will probably serve as my gateway to other AI/NTS games, but I don’t intend to become a convert anytime soon.

The author has promised to implement minor choices later on, which is great, as the game is currently a kinetic novel. Thankfully, the scenes are tasteful enough that I don't mind following along on the journey.

Author deserves all the support they can get. Andrea for best girl!

The pacing has gotten kinda fast as of 6.1 so hopefully , we can see things get back to that tension of boundary's being pushed having impact, as right now it feels like its an all out sprint. But the artwork makes the short cummmings worth it.

Best NTS/Cheating game out there. Yes its AI, but its also hand worked to the point its not just slop. Its perfect. Props to the dev for the art and for the story. The relationships, the drama its all really well developed.

Checked this one out since I've been looking at some AI art games lately and this was rated well. Though it's one of many AI CG games, this is one of the few that stand out with really great animations and consistent art that's well cleaned. It's top notch and superior to most animations by far. If I had any gripe I'd say I just want more Lilly scenes

Top quality among the games using AI to generate images (obviously does a TON of post-production work). Would love to see more games of this quality. The story really bumps this to 5-stars, which some of the other quality AI graphics games lack.

The art looks amazing, but it's pretty standard for these AI generated games. There aren't any choices or very unique characters, so skipping or skimming some of the dialogue felt necessary when playing.

It's not terribly written, but it feels like the writing is AI generated/enhanced since a lot of it is just empty. You already know what the characters want (they aren't complex) and what they're doing based on the images, so it becomes to verbose and fluffy.

The story itself involves the main character getting propositioned by many women but also getting cucked by other men with these women. He justifies it in exactly the same way as other AI games with the "swinging" tag. I always find these stories to be somewhat deranged, partly because the fantasy is even more unrealistic than typical harem adult games I'm used to, but also because it feels formulaic and lacking in human reasoning.

I think my review will just repeat the nice things that other have said. The game is one of the best so far in my opinion. Art is 10/10 with animation and color theme is just consistent throughout the game. Story is I think 9/10 some of the details make sense, some doesn't in my opinion but I wouldn't complain much for a sex game to have more story twists. Overall, 5/5 star for me.

The game lacks a bit of choice in terms of when and with whom the heroine will have sex (due to different preferences).

For example, the short BJ scene in the cafe [Ch. 6] was unnecessary, too quick and abrupt (making it seem insignificant), although in terms of its importance and depth of fetish, such a scene could have been practically pivotal. It would have been possible to get by with just the HJ for now, stretching out the timeline a bit more until the turning point, making the introduction to such a BJ much more detailed and emotionally escalating. This is my personal opinion, and most likely wrong, since the overwhelming majority (99%) liked it.

Most likely because the scenes in the previous update were already considered introductions to any subsequent abrupt and quick sex scenes.

And I'm even ashamed to complain about such a trivial detail, because this project is definitely groundbreaking, taking the VN to a whole new level of quality storytelling: numerous scenes, humorous events, a simple but consistent distribution of roles for the characters surrounding the main character and heroine, leading everyone step by step into a deeper fetish. The player is simply bombarded with a huge amount of small and large goodies, all played with a wonderful AI style.

This game is currently one of the strongest of recent times (AI makes updates faster and richer), on par with "My New Girlfriend" and "Moonripple Lake".

POSITIVES

- Animations and renders are fantastic for AI standarts.
- There is an actual story besides sexual intimacy, it is not perfect but at least it makes you believe these characters actually have real lifes.
- Characters look diverse, they feel different too.
- Musics, sound effects etc. are all well used.
- Dev is a good guy.

NEGATIVES

- It doesn't feel quite like a NTS game to me. This is a personal preference but stag MC isn't my thing.
- Lack of choices.
- One of dev members is really rude.

Objectively this is a really good game. If you are looking for hardcore NTS you can be disappointed, but swinging type of stuff is there.

This is the best NTS game ever made. The characters are great, and there's a real plot.

The animation and the girls are top-notch. It's so much fun to encourage the main character's girlfriend to team up with others.

And the trans girlfriend is super hot (optional).

Great game, I can't wait for updates!

Ok, this is a not the typical unfolding of things, that alone sets this one apart.

No, the MC is not the typical scared cuckold, it brings a fine balance to the dynamic that feels more genuine despite ofc the usual "invisible hand" of the author here and there.

The plot is interesting, and the way characters are placed almost never felt forced thanks to the caring in the context that also fits the overall story.

images are super consitent, hot and abundant, and that goes with sound design.

An amazing experience, must play, thank you.

The high praise this game gets is well deserved, there's good character progression, the layout was purposefully "hostile" to the MC's prospects, with multiple characters trying to corrupt him and his girlfriend, but he becomes more dominant and assertive, capable of wrestling control back when he wants to. Alice is loyal, dedicated and initially shy, which makes her "coming out of her shell" all the more interesting.

The author takes a very free and dynamic approach to character evolution. As a KN, you might not expect most characters to be so accomodating, or willing to push the boundaries of their personality type - but they do, and that makes them feel deeper. The slutty best friend who can admit her surprise at how bold her friend can be (instead of always pushing her further, these comments make for a moment of relief in that arc's tension). The domme who can admit the MC's own dominance impressed her - but soon after, impose her limits (or should I say, off-limits) - it dispels some the sourness of her character and is great teasing overall. The GF who discovers a cuckquean side while also enjoying teasing the MC.

There's a story tying all these shenanigans together. I just hope that, as it progresses, the MC will trust his girlfriend with the whole story of what's going on. For one, lying makes him feel less assertive and insecure. As their characters and their relationship progresses, it feels like not telling her everything makes the MC feel like he's being overprotective, while at the same time keeping her vulnerable because of what she isn't aware of - just telling her about the conspiracy and all the details would be the best way to protect her. Always feels like a miss when a character behaves in a dumb way, especially if you don't have choices. Maybe it's to justify later developments, but it keeps me restless and I prefer a more relaxed reading! Not enough to remove a star, but the game would be much better, imho, if the MC quickly dropped the fear and dread tropes and brought his gf fully onto his side.

Review as of chapter 5. I'm a big fan of NTR and sharing, so I may be a bit biased.

I was a bit hesitant after seeing the obvious AI art, but this game seriously blew me away. Most of the girls' body types are exactly the same, which is an expected limitation of relying on AI CG. But the characters are so well written and varied in their personality that it doesnt stick out too much. That and the body is just crazy hot.

Currently there is very little kink exploration but the NTR is done EXTREMELY well. The sex scenes are well written and very hot, even just basic groping scenes are executed in a way that is difficult to describe. The way Luke and Alicia egg each other on to go further is believable, wholesome, and a massive turn on.

The main fault I have is that some (non-sexual) scenes suffer from word bloat and could definitely be trimmed down after covering the main points. Remember a line of dialogue needs to either A) progress the story or B) provide character development. If dialogue does neither of these, then it should be cut.

Fix the word bloat and its an easy 5 stars, I cant wait for future chapters.

- the nts is done generally well

Cons

- dialogue is a bit too much at times
- a lot of internal thoughts that slow down the pacing slightly, causing me to want to skip it
- the game doesnt take itself as serious as some other similar games. This causes the nts to not hit quite as hard.

Overall, great nts game, not perfect but it deserves a 5/5
