VN - Ren'Py - Shadows of Summer [v0.16] [Alipel]

I really tried to give this a shot, but it’s just too goofy for me. The wing tattoo, the awkward animations, and especially the sound effects—it's hard to describe how grating they are. I normally like having SFX even when they’re generic, but these were genuinely hard to listen to. The writing also falls flat, which might be a translation issue.

That said, I don’t want to be unfair. There is potential here, and I hope the dev keeps working on it. With better sound design and some help with writing or translation, this could improve a lot. The animations are okay—they're a decent foundation. I’m giving it a low score now, but I genuinely hope it’s taken as encouragement to keep going and get better.

It's a waste of time, it's already on version 16 and there's still not a single decent NTR scene with the white-haired girl, and no relevant development. The dev is just stalling and not delivering anything significant.

Fluid animations and also a good amount of NTR scenes. Now the bad things. The characters are horrible, MC is bad at sex with a small penis and the other guy has Superhero sex powers with a schlong as big as the Eiffel tower in Paris. The relationship is between MC and his gf is blunt and doesn't matter. The story is is okayish but nothing special or new. The dialogues.. oh my god they are so dumb. Very poorly written and for a game with that many updates you could think that the dev got his mess checked by a proofreader. Nope.
But the dev is updating the game very frequently and fast which I think you have to pay respect for.

Pretty average NTR game. There's nothing wrong with it but there's nothing amazing about it as well. The pacing seems pretty quick (maybe too quick for my liking) and there's a decent amount of NTR content. It's great to see game with early development with sex noises that make the sex scenes so much hotter. However the relationships between the MC and the girlfriend just seem meh, no chemistry between them making the NTR feeling lack lustre. The bull protagonist as being the dad seemed interesting at first as he has regrets about their relationship but kinda fizzled out once they start their affair and become bit boring. Overall fun average NTR game but nothing too special or amazing about it.

Wow. The guy before me really hated the game. I know this game has inspirations from another one, and the updates may not be as big. But is not fair to compare them that way. Every dev is different and has it's own pace. This game is still in a very early phase. So it can become a lot better if you give it some time. And dev will also learn lots of new things and make better stuffs.
Aniways, the review: So far I like what I see. The girl is hot. The protagonist have personality and the updates come in a decent amount of time. I will give it 5 stars because this game can become really good on its own.

Also it would be amazing if dev oppened a discord so we can help with some typos in the script

Terrible character design, no animation or sound, very little content added per update. A very good model of how not to make a game, I hope you learn something from this. The author said hey let me copy a famous game, went into koikatsu, opened one of the base characters, made mine bigger, and said perfect, now I'll put an NTR tag and there will be a game that everyone will like. Overall, in this game I see a reluctance to create a quality product.
