VN - Ren'Py - Shadows [v0.8] [Vicxlose]

What a great game - both story- and art-wise! I’m really looking forward to the journey the dev has planned. I love the beautiful artwork and how every character has their own charm. The kinks are perfect!

The style and grasp of BDSM and power is great. The depravity and perversion is unparalleled. Good animation and renders. Story is bonkers and I love it. I certainly am looking forward to additional updates.

Really weird and interesting game that's definitely worth checking out. It keeps you engaged and curious the entire time with its unique gameplay and unexpected twists. A fun and unusual experience!..

The premise of this game is paper thin. You're some kind of detective and have to investigate a weird house full of nymphomaniac bimbos. As the story progresses, it becomes more clear that the player character suffers from some form of mental issue - I won't spoil more, but the plot hasn't moved too far anyway as of 0.8.

So... what do you do in this game? Basically, each chapter is a series of events. Almost every event involves some kind of sexual interaction. The characters you meet are both one-dimensional from a writing perspective and utterly depraved. Stay away from this game if you don't enjoy stuff like anal insertions, inflation, watersports, gaping / prolapse and latex. The character designs are over completely over the top - everything is almost comically exaggerated. But this does serve the general atmosphere quite well, as the entire game feels "uncanny", almost like a fever dream or a psychedelic trip.

Even though some scenes are very well done (especially those with the loli character - and I normally really don't like loli stuff), but the animations leave a lot to be desired. Facial expressions also look very weird at times, but I think this is intentional.

The most recent chapters have been quite short, which is a bad sign. Even though 0.8 added a new plot element, it still feels like the story is going in too many directions at the same time. The fact that the dialogue is quite bad doesn't help.

As some of the kinks are decently executed, I'm willing to give this 3 stars - but only because some of the imagery is quite hot. As a visual novel or even a game, this project feels flat.

A great variety of models and personalities to match. A plot twisting adventure of Corruption and Perversion. The story is original (from what I can tell) which is a nice change from all the other cookie cutter plots out there.

An amazing game with beautiful models, and fun fetishes that are needed for any corruption degenerate. The only thing that I don't like is the lack of dialogue in scenes, which is really sad to see and that stops the game from being perfect.

I don't understand how games like this get such high ratings. Braindead garbanzo of a game , the only thing it has going for it is if you have bimbo bdsm fetish than sure you might like the style and showcase of kink cg´s but other than that the game has 0 character , 0 skills in the scene department and was most likely written by someone who couldn't care to check and read what they wrote in the dialogue bars.

1/5 - this is all society's fault

Last time I got this vibe was watching a David Lynch flick last Friday, and honestly, this VN hit me the same way. Watching it is definitely a trip, visually it’s a feast, but what the hell is actually going on? No clue.

First off, gotta give props where it’s due: the dev absolutely nailed the rendering quality. It’s next level, something you rarely see, so mad respect there. But outside the visuals? Yeah, not so much. The plot is straight up confusing — like, is there even a real story? Not sure. No real connection develops with the characters either. Every time you interact with someone, regardless of what’s said, it’s basically a sex stuff. For real, it starts right from the jump.

You meet the characters when you get home, say hi, and boom — instant sex shit. Even though we’re playing a detective ( you’d think we’d be the ones pulling the strings), we’re mostly being dominated. Everyone suddenly wants to lick our balls, and guess what, they do. TL;DR: it’s high-res porn renders popping up every now and then as you click through.

That said, I’m not gonna hold back on the rating. Aside from the negative stuff, everything else about the game is solid enough not to toss it out. So yeah, I’m here for the updates and wanna see where the story goes.

Also, if you’re a solo dev (i think so) big respect bro, but seriously, maybe get some help on a few things. Keep it up!

Uuumh, psychedelic porn?

Everything contributes to the feeling of uncanny valley: characters have no personalities and don't talk or behave like real humans, look like sex dolls, take long pauses every couple of sentences to show off their bodies from different angles, make unsettling facial expressions, MC has schizophrenic attacks, sudden timeskips, mouth close-up shots, and just generally nothing makes sense. I'm not even gonna mention the fucking dreams and visions dude, that is the shit you only see under some heavy "medication".
Not sure what I can add about sex scenes what haven't been said before: jerky one second loops shown from three different angles. Really poor execution.

v0.7 is the last version I'll be playing, but I'm giving it 5 stars. I think the game deserves it for its graphical details, suspenseful plot and so on. The things I dislike are mostly related to my preferences (kinks, designs, etc.).

Don't really know what to write here. Game in development for a good 2 years, and...

Renders are great. Literally the best part of this VN.
Game doesn't try to tease you with 10000 years of sex-denial and drop scenes right away.
But. Those scenes... Aint best. Even if we're not talking about fetish-theme. They are just too short and animated at it's worst. Literally one 1-sec loop junky animation with several perspectivites. And those great renders can't save it.
Story? For two years already - there's no story yet. Just the plot, leading to nowhere. There is intrigue, but for how long we will wait to see where it is going - no one knows. I don't even know if there's any point in choices. For now - not really (you can miss two-three scenes but who cares). Oh yeah, almost forgot. Chapters are short AF, so you can complete 0.7 version in less than a half hour? One hour maybe.

This game is just damn good ,if you want some kinky stuff as main element with a mystery plot. It has good quality and all the girl's body renders are superb(except loli). The game according to me is pretty well made if you came more for the graphics and kinks with story on the backpedal.

If you're expecting a good story from this, then you will be very disappointed.

The sex scenes are pretty good, albeit very short.

The whole mystery thing in this VN is more offputting than it is interesting.

If you are looking for a kinky game this one's for you. This one mainly focus on kinks but plus there's also a nice mystery plot going on. Girls are hot and thicc. Every girls are kinky on their own way. Beatrix, cora, Beatrix's elder daughter, Roberta. Girls got thicc and nice proportion. There's also lactating scenes. I'm not into loli content but still played that path too. Since this one focus on kinks we got sex scenes with girls after some dialogues. Usually fuck fest makes the game boring. But on this case it's worth cause girls are thicc and scenes are steamy

I read the reviews and thought I was going to get a pretty wild ride. But, sadly, all i got were very plastic models and stiff animations. I did get a lot of anal gapes although I had my fill by Chapter 4. Moving along.....

damn this game is so dumb in some aspects and so disgusting (gaping assholes bad renders. huge ugly tits) and dialogue nearly always just makes the sex scenes worse they are so bad. full of typos and "engrish". but on other hand it has some sexy scenarios and scenes... but those are not really explored due to uncreative text and mediocre art.

there were instances where i was like ok this game at best deserves 1/5 rating but then it has some horroristic intrigue even if it's done imo badly... BUT compared to other porn games it's at least kinda unique... even though you are basically a fuck machine every 5minutes there is a mediocre sex scene.

so all in all as a whole package i think 3/5 is fair with all the negatives.

positives are that it at least has bdsm elements, it plays as a porn game, no nonsense just constant fucking with maximum porn logic (even though that "logic" turns into "braindead logic" instantly) and it has some incest elements which are nice imo.

this game is a huge miss imo. but with nice scenes and there are indeed multiple scenes where art/renders are fine so imo realistically can this be below a 3/5 game? i dont think so, it's quite an extreme game, there are some extremely bad elements only found in 1/5 rated games but there are some other cool elements which are only found in 5/5 games.

Generally, I don't like dectetive stories. And I didn't liked this one either. Would've given the game 4 stars, but! It could have a good ending (or multiple ones), eventually.

A game written and designed for quite a specific audience...it caters more to the BDSM / FEMDOM genre...it wasn't quite 'my cup of tea', however, it isn't poorly made in any way. If you enjoy that kind of content, you will enjoy this game.
