What can you say about this game?
The graphics and animation are beyond praise. Old-school pixel art looks great! Despite the fact that the game was released in 1993, it is impressive even by modern standards. A real visual treat! In addition, polyphonic melodies are playing in the background, of which there are quite a lot. They perfectly create the atmosphere of a fantasy adventure where you free a magical land from a villain.
Plot
The story, unfortunately, is quite simple and mediocre, which isn't surprising for the games of that time. You are the hero from the first part (which, alas, has never been translated from Japanese into English), and your task is to free the fairyland from invaders by going through 12 castles. At the start, three girl units help you, and after each captured castle you get a new character and a scene with erotic elements. This is where the plot component, in fact, ends.
Gameplay
The gameplay is not bad, but it cannot boast of a special variety. At the very beginning, he is really fascinating, but over time he begins to get bored. Perhaps this is due to the fact that I am not a fan of tactical RPGs, but I admit that the first hours of the game were spent with great interest. Overall, the mechanics are working, but you shouldn't expect depth or innovation.
Adult content
As for adult content, to be honest, I expected more. But keep in mind that this is a game from the early 90s. The content is more like erotica or soft porn. There are no full–fledged sex scenes here - everything is limited to a text description. There are 5 to 7 CG scenes, some of which are animated (for example, girls blinking or squeezing their breasts). However, there is no anatomical detail – the genitals are not drawn, and there are no penetrations. This is most likely due to censorship, as the game was developed for the Japanese market.
Result
As a result, we have an average game in front of us, which stands out for its magnificent pixel art, atmosphere and nostalgic spirit, but it isn't suitable for everyone. If you like old–school drawing, are into retrogaming, or are willing to spend time setting up an emulator, give it a try. Most likely, you won't regret it. However, if any of the above does not appeal to you, it is better to pass by.
