Then you have to tell it to download it anyway. Windows Defender is a decent enough anti-virus, but it's a bit on the paranoid side due to being designed for EVERYONE including the average 8yo or 80yo. One way to help deal with this is to always download to a non-System folder. Don't use your desktop, downloads, or anything on the C drive if possible. It becomes slightly less paranoid if you do this. I have a nice 1tb external drive I use for all of my porn games
