So can anyone tell me if demons within is actually exclusively gay? I asked on the itch page but no one responded.
The way the page is written makes it... vague.
I'm just really sick of picking up projects that say they're gay-focused and then do shit like soulcreek or that newer werewolf one.

Well, neither of us here are Nostradamus descendants, so we can't see what will happen with the game content in the future, but as of now, it's 100% gay juice.

I havent even seen ANY women in Shelter, anyways

Also, did you miss the whole obligated orgy thing and wolverine lady flashing her tits, etc etc etc?

All of that is in the background plus Tahki is just mocking you.
Im pretty sure you can tell Loken that you dont vibe with the orgy and go home instead of staying there.
About Shelter again though, i dont think women even exist here lmao, so rest assured, no scary/yucky breasts for you to see.

Yeah, women flat out don't exist in Shelter's world. Max's route even directly confirms as much when Max during the big flashback sequence sees a human female and just immediately assumes they're a dude and Luke even comments that Max has no idea what a female even is, but "he still knows what's good huh". The setting assumes, by default, that women aren't a thing.

I still maintain that's a wild thing for raus to write luke saying to max, like apparently they're all Truly Heterosexual... crazy thing to have in a game for a gay audience

That's not at all the case. Max doesn't even know what women are and just thought the one he saw was a weird looking dude - Luke was ribbing him. There was no actual attraction on Max's part at all.

There's no point try to convince someone that just hates woman and comes up with 420 reasons to bitch about it. They always find something to complain about :KEK:

IMO it's actually weird if there's no Female in the world without a lore reason Like what Shelter does,
if you plan to build an immersive world.
Sure it'll be weird and I totally don't wanna see Vagina Sex, I don't even wanna see anything Feminine that's the focus during sex.
But I have no problem see Female Nudes and even appreciate the beauty, just nothing sexual.
It's the dev's right if they feel the need to include any contents that enhance the experience. (if it's a scene you can always skip).

Like Many Japanese Hardcore Gay Games hv Straight Sex scenes (the Focus is always on the Male, not the female), to empathise the man's Virility, to help with world building, or there's a story / plot behind it, etc.

It's only a problem if the Dev is disingenuous, Including contents that's not "Better for the Game", but To "attract wider range of audiences".

This reminds me what a uniquely well thought out VN Shelter is,
How you decide if you are top or bottom in an immersive way (not just some lazy switch flip),
how well made the time loop system is,
how clever it uses sprites to feel like animation,
how brilliant the world is built,
Not to mention the top quality arts and music,
and the writing that's well balanced between seriousness and silliness.

There's literally nothing like this out there and it bothers me how little attention it gets :(
