VN - Others - Completed - Shoujo Dominance - My Precious Reina - [Final] [Montceros+]

For all the VN's out there that have no idea how to portray incest, there's one that does things right, and as it happens Shoujo Dominance is said exception. This title goes to a lot of places, including some implications that are best left to psychologists and the like. This is the kind of VN where you MUST read the text, and be in the mood for forbidden/taboo, because visually this is not great, and that component is just there for support. In a nutshell, Shoujo Dominance has some excellent ideas, but not enough running time to get things done properly, and that's a shame.

Positive:
- All the sense of immorality expected from the main tag; Dialogue and narration help build the mood (don't skip them); Many interesting concepts (possessiveness, jealousy, replacing mommy, age gap, types of love and boundaries; mental excuses that stop or allow behaviors, and more); 2 different endings (one is dumb, but it works very well); V.A is fine.

Neutral:
- The heroine can call the protagonist pappa (daddy) or otou-san (father); The heroine can wear glasses; It's uncensored.

Negative:
- Art and visuals are not up to 2020 standards (H-scenes need work); The VN doesn't have the duration to support all of its stimulating ideas; You can't treat this like instant porn, without getting a substandard product; It's a Nukige, where the main value comes from the textbox.

Score: I'm gonna give this a 7/10, and say that it's a good VN, but this is an extra subjective score, that will only work for people who like a more "vivid" representation of the incest tag. If that's not you don't bother, you'd be missing the entire point.

- While the story is indeed shorter than normal, the story fits perfectly in that time frame. If the story was to be expanded on, like adding more scenes, outings, while still being interesting enough to keep the viewer reading, then I'm all for it.
- Voice acting is as expected from Japanese VA, matches the personality of the characters.
- As this game is translated from Japanese, I would like to express that the translator did a really good job on the translation.

I wish there were more translated VNs like this, wholesome father and daughter romance. I'm getting ants from the sweetness.

Art is good but I expected something more fluid. The story is even worth it with two paths to follow. However, I let myself crave something more when I'm done.

In my opinion it is very worthwhile. So try this vanilla incest

Its just a story with pictures and even then theres not that many. You dont have any choices its completely linear. no build up everything instantly happens. the ending also is very bad just skips time after 2 sex scenes

The game is incredibly short, only containing 1 choice of either Corrupt path or Good Path. That's it. The game can be completed realistically in less than an hour and only contains a few CGs.

While it is interesting you can toggle how the character addresses you and whether they wear their glasses there is really nothing else here in terms of interaction.

Basically just a very short set of novels.
