i often get jumpscared by visual novel game when i thought the game is a free roam game, it really sucks and it's not that obvious either since 3d game can be a visual novel game aswell and most of the time the preview images only shows the cg and never showed the dialogue text whatsoever. there's also no open world or exploration tags too by the way
shouldn't there be free roam tag or atleast visual novel tag?

the lack of gameplay in the screenshots could probably be fixed by players posting their screenshots in threads and asking mods to add them to the game posts.

Me too, I wish there'd be at least one or two screenshots showing "game" for those games that claim to be games.
I do not feel good bothering mods to do even more work for just my - and alikes's - desires.
I do not know, maybe most users are fine with there being only sex-scene screenshots?
