VN - HTML - Side Effect [Ch.1 P2 v0.1] [Guma Games]

Good:
- high quality media
- decent choice of girls
- UI isn't bad on the eyes

Bad:
- More of a Kinetic Novel, choices don't have consequences besides the one in the beginning.
- Broken on some browsers due to mixed casing on media.
- People are... very chatty.

Ugly:
- Basically an "instant fuck" game. There's no rhyme or reason, just each woman you meet you seem to be able to instantly fuck.
- Due to above, it's a mile wide and an inch deep.

Side Effect is one of the few HTML games with a neat, appealing user interface aka GUI design. The text-based tag is kind of misleading as it has plenty of adult/porn video content which is properly sized, formated and embedded into the GUI. There are also pictures being used - some video stills, some AI generated. It's all about the MC who returns to his family and work environment (school) after an extended sick leave due to mental issues. Hence the game is populated with wifes, sisters-in-law, daughters, nieces, colleagues / co-workers, students and business partners. It is not an open world game where you have freedom to choose your daily activities and hope to find the right trigger, but a visual novel with limited choices. Since it's the 2nd release so far, it is too early to decide whether it's going to be a kinetic novel or feature distinct paths. There is plenty of sex taking place already and I would say we have about 1.5-2 hours gameplay now if you actually read and follow the story. I recommend to give it a try.

A very Rare example of good html game with hot LI's and coherent pacing but would be great if had sound and some more save slots and also a gallery option.
also the character relation page needs some clarity
would be a 10 times better if it was harem but this is my personal opinion
